《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 67: The Dining Hall

Zhao Luo was still in the dark space.
'This should be enough.'
Zhao Lup thought as nothing else was remaining to do.
The only thing left for Zhao Luo now was to test his increased strength.
He could have trained more but he thought that the amount of training he had already done was enough to deal with the Drums of Bellum.
Zhao Luo sat down on the floor of the dark space. The rings were still behind him. Zhao Luo didn't think about storing them or anything like that. He only had one thing in his mind.
'I will go to the training area first.'
Zhao Luo said as he closed his eyes while sitting on the floor of the dark space in his mind.
The next instant, Zhao Luo opened his eyes physically as he got up from his bed.
'Thud, Thud.'
Zhao Luo lightly brushed his robe with his palm as he tightened it around his waist.
'Tap, tap.'
"Is brother still sleeping?"
Zhao Luo who was walking towards the door of his room heard a girl questioning someone in a cute voice.
He knew the girl meant him when she said 'brother' as that voice belonged to Feng Mei.
"If Brother Luo is still sleeping then we will let him rest. He may still be tired after what happened yesterday."
The person who was questioned replied to Feng Mei. This person was Yan.
Bother girls were waiting outside Zhao Luo's room wondering if they should knock on the door to check if Zhao Luo was awake or sleeping.
While they were discussing this, Feng Mei brought her fist close to the door as she looked at Yan.
"Brother Yan, I am going to knock on the door."
Feng Mei said to Yan as Yan nodded.
Before Feng Mei could knock on the door, Zhao Luo opened it.
Zhao Luo grabbed Feng Mei's little fist gently.
Zhao Luo put his hand on Feng Mei's head and stroked it gently.
"Brother are you fine now?"
Feng Mei asked Zhao Luo as she looked up at him with her cute round eyes.
"Yes, I am fine now. Don't be surprised later on. Hehe."
Zhao Luo told Feng Mei as he laughed weirdly while removing his hand from her head.
He was already giving them notice.
'Hmm, was he able to increase his strength in just 8 hours?'

Yan thought as she looked at the calm and happy face of Zhao Luo.
Since he had come out of his room, he realized that there were other disciples too. That is the place where Zhao Luo was in looked like a small hut.
Even though the hut looked small from the outside, it was rather spacious on the inside.
The hut was big enough as even when four people were in Zhao Luo's room, he didn't feel that it was crowded or anything.
Zhao Luo looked around and noticed that there were countless small huts around him.
Some students were still coming out of the huts. These students were all headed at the same place. This confused Zhao Luo as they wouldn't be heading towards the training area right after waking up.
"Where are they going?"
Zhao Luo asked Yan.
"Probably, the dining hall. But they are late so they wouldn't be getting anything special."
Yan replied to Zhao Luo with her head straight as she looked right into Zhao Luo's eyes.
She wanted Zhao Luo to praise her as she had done her research to know about some specific things which were important while they were in the trainee hall.
Instead of praising her, Zhao Luo who couldn't read through Yan's emotion turned his head and looked around.
"So this is the place of accommodation. And where these trainees are headed must be the dining hall."
Zhao Luo said lightly as he was checking around. First, he looked around him to see the Huts and then looked at where some of the trainees were headed at.
The trainee hall had three places.
The place where the trainees stayed, like Zhao Luo, 'The Huts'.
The Second place was where they would train, 'The Training Area'.
Zhao Luo was already familiar with this place as the first place he went to after entering the trainee hall was the Training Area.
The third place was...
"Let's go to the dining hall first."
Zhao Luo said to Feng Mei and Yan.
Yes, the 'Dining Hall' was the third place.
"Okay. Let's follow them."
Yan said as she pointed at a group of disciples who were going towards the left side after exiting the place where the huts were.
After saying that, Yan, Zhao Luo, and Feng Mei who was holding Zhao Luo's hand started walking behind one group of the trainee disciple that was obviously heading towards the dining hall.

There was an insane reason behind why Zhao Luo wanted to go to the Dining Hall first instead of the Training Area.
It was this feeling that he had lost. As if his mind and body had obliterated this feeling from his senses.
'Why don't I feel hungry anymore?'
Zhao Luo questioned himself while walking.
It was a long-time question that was bugging Zhao Luo.
It had already been around a week since he had freed himself from the capsule. But from then it wasn't easy for him to feel this feeling where he wanted to eat something. Except for the time when he had the special ramen at Brother Sang's place.
Zhao Luo was unable to feel 'Hunger'.
That uneasy feeling accompanied by the growling noises where the consumption of food would become a necessity was missing in Zhao Luo. Thus Zhao Luo decided to go to the Dining Hall first.
After walking for a while, the three, Zhao Luo, Feng Mei, and Yan arrived outside of the dining hall.
'It's really big.'
Zhao Luo thought while looking at the dining hall.
The dining hall was indeed a massive place.
It could easily hold the current amount of disciples in the trainee hall with ease.
Zhao Luo entered the dining hall with Feng Mei and Yan by his side.
'So many...'
Zhao Luo looked around.
There were at least around four thousand disciples eating their food calmly.
Even though there were so many disciples here there wasn't much noise.
'It's nice that they are well disciplined.'
Zhao Luo liked this kind of simple atmosphere more than noisy ones.
Zhao Luo's eyes fell on the area in the Dining Hall where the food was.
He moved to that area and grabbed a tray from among the many trays which were placed right where the dishes started.
"Hmm, crispy meat, tender meat, spicy meat, more meat, and ah, finally some vegetables...."
Zhao Luo looked at the food displayed there.
It was mostly big pieces of meat with different descriptions underneath the food plate and then there was a portion where the boiled vegetables were placed.
Zhao Luo took some meat from the different plates and put them on his tray.
Feng Mei who was right beside Zhao Lup also copied the amount and added the same things that Zhao Luo was adding. Even though it was only meat dishes everywhere.
Yan only had some vegetables on her plate.
Zhao Luo noticed a table in the Dining Hall which only had one big person sitting on it.
There were free tables too but they were quite far away from where they were at.
'Let's go sit there.'
Zhao Luo said as he walked towards that table with Feng Mei and Yan.
The other disciples noticed some people passing them, one after another these disciples started recognizing him as the person who was on the ring platform yesterday.
'The guy who had reached the fourth row.'
They all had seen the moment when Zhao Luo had beaten the First Drum of the Fourth row.
They still couldn't forget the echoing of the sound of the drum and the scene of Zhao Luo falling.
Zhao Luo had already become a legend in the Trainee Hall. The other disciples already had a deep respect for Zhao Luo growing in their hearts.
Just like that whispers started. Everyone's focus turned from their plates towards Zhao Luo.
There was another eyecatching reason to look at Zhao Luo.
The two angels that he was carrying around him.
He already looked like an extraordinary individual with his handsome face and his unparalleled robe. Yet the two girls around Zhao Luo just added different flavors to his persona.
The disciples here were just speculating as Yan had yet to talk so they thought that Yan was a girl which she was.
As everyone started talking about Zhao Luo and the two girls around him, the Dining Hall turned into a Zoo right away.
With so many disciples participating in talking and whispering at once in a closed space made the dining hall very noisy.
'Hmm.'
Zhao Luo who had reached the table stopped behind the big man and took a glance around as everyone was talking about him.
Before he could ask the big man if they could sit with him, the big man suddenly stretched his back to make it straight.
"ahh, why are you all behaving like animals huh..."
The big man said as he turned his face around and stopped midway.
It was like seeing a ghost who had spawned right behind him.
'Ack.'
The big man cried as he choked on his last bite while looking at Zhao Luo.
"Haha, 'Brother Mite' so it was you."
Zhao Luo laughed as he sat at one of the free seats around the table where Mite was sitting alone.

Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

My Haunted Academia(mha au) | DISCONTINUED
(I'm no longer updating this as I've lost all interest in it, but feel free to read the mess of what this was)Magic and monsters are indeed real. At least, that's what Deku thinks. He's heard many stories around his village about a safe haven for monsters deep in the forest. And it's safe to say that he's a big fan of these stories, along with his best friend; Bakugo. Since the death of his mother, and disappearance of his father, Deku sees no reason why they shouldn't go check it out. What will they find as the explore the haunted halls of UA? Monsters? Magic? A curse in which they can't escape? It's perfectly possible. At least, that's what they think. ......and they just might be right. (I've had this idea for a while now, and I think it's cool! FYI though, some chapters won't have a plot and will mainly be filler, but they're still good! Also none of the backgrounds are mine, and neither are the characters. This is a parody of the show My Hero Academia)
