'ZzZzZzZz.'
Zhao Luo's sleeping sound could be heard in the serenity of his room.
He was 'just sleeping after a long time and even though he couldn't rate his sleep. But if he could, he would have certainly gone with 9/10.
He had gone to sleep during the daytime and the time Wu Yang had told him to come to the training area was at 12 of the night but Zhao Luo who was dozing off had no clue of the current time.
In his sleep, he had a dream.
A long and senseless dream.
A dream which felt more real than his reality.
(The dream)
"Mister, wake up."
A sound of a man went in his ears as Zhao Luo barely opened his eyes.
'Takuma.'
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked at the face of the person who was calling him 'mister'.
"Where am I?"
Zhao Luo questioned him. He felt like he had a long dream.
(While dreaming he thought he had a dream.)
"I brought you to a hospital as you had fainted on the top floor of the haunted building."
Takuma explained to Zhao Luo with a poker face.
His face had no expressions at all except that his eyes looked devoid of life.
'Did I dream about all that?'
Zhao Luo mumbled as he looked at Takuma who appeared different to the Takuma 'the great genius', Zhao Luo knew of.
"You are not some genius researcher right?"
Zhao Luo pricked at Takuma whose expression suddenly changed as a grin appeared on his face.
"I am..."
He closed in on Zhao Luo and whispered something in his ear.
"A PSYCHOPATH."
'SHWAA.'
Zhao Luo could only look down at the knife which was penetrating his stomach as Takuma had stabbed him while grinning at him.
'Beep, Beep, Beep.'
Zhao Luo could only see Takuma sneakily leaving the room as the noise of the heart monitoring machine next to him enshrouded the room.
After a while of suffering.
Zhao Luo was losing his consciousness as the feeling of death was creeping up over him.
"NOOOOooo."
He screamed while his voice kept on dying down.
That was when Zhao Luo had woken up from the nightmare.
"Ah."
"Hah."
"Ah."
"Hah, what was that?"

Zhao Luo while sitting on his bed rubbed his stomach on the place where he had been stabbed by Takuma of his dream.
"It was just a dream."
"I am never sleeping again."
Zhao Luo deciding after realizing that he saw was only a dream.
"But what if in reality, he was never a researcher or if he had chosen someone else for the project...what would have happened to me?"
Zhao Luo wondered about the possibility that there could be a future of his where he never met his friends or going back to the moment, he may have never met his master or gotten the heaven's tomb from.
He may have never stepped on the first stage of Godhood, Naoli, at all.
Zhao Luo shook his head to get rid of all these depressing thoughts as just this last week had been more amazing than his whole life.
Zhao Luo got up and went left his room.
Outside the hut, it was already dark.
A full moon was shining brightly in the sky as Zhao Luo stood outside his hut bathing under it with his eyes closed.
If others could see him, they would have awe stuck, or if they had a weak heart then even his death could result from this scene.
'TOO MUCH HANDSOMENESS IN ONE TAKE.'
A disciple who was passing by Zhao Luo's hut thought.
Zhao Luo hadn't noticed that disciple as he was enjoying the night breeze.
"What are you doing?"
Zhao Luo opened his eyes as a familiar voice entered his ears and looked at the person who had questioned him.
"You can try it too."
Zhao Luo told him as it was Wu Yang who was walking towards him.
"Did you forget something?"
Wu Yang askes him as he came to stand next to him.
"Like what?"
"Hmm, maybe think about it first before asking me."
"Just tell me."
Zhao Luo said as he couldn't remember what he had forgotten.
"I told you to meet me at the training area at 12."
Wu Yang finally got to the point as Zhao Luo looked at him with wide eyes.
"I remember that. Is it 12 already?"
Zhao Luo asked him as for him he felt like he hadn't slept more than a few hours.

"No, it's not 12...."
"Then..."
Wu Yang slowed down just to interrupt as Zhao Luo started talking.
"It already 2 " {how wu yang looked (-_-) }
Wu Yang looked at the beautiful moon as he tilted his head, looking away from Zhao Luo.
"Heh, hehe, I was just about to go towards the training area."
"Let's go."
Zhao Luo laughed awkwardly as he started walking towards the exit of the hut zone along with Wu Yang.
Zhao Luo walked two steps behind Wu Yang because of the earlier incident.
'I slept that long. Seriously never sleeping again.'
Just like the sense of hunger had diminished, Zhao Luo didn't have to sleep as training in the dark space would replenish him with energy and also wash away his exhaustion so he would always feel rested.
In any case, just like eating whenever he felt like it, his sleep this time shared the same reason.
He slept cause he just felt like it and that was what he was regretting now.
Zhao Luo followed Wu Yang out of the hut zone and towards the training area.
"Tsk."
Zhao Luo clicked his tongue as he still couldn't believe that he had overslept.
"Don't worry."
Wu Yang realized that Zhao Luo was still bating himself over the fact.
"You aren't angry?"
Zhao Luo jumped ahead a little to come alongside Wu Yang while asking about Wu Yang's mood.
Wu Yang smiled and stopped as they had already reached the training area.
"I am not angry but..."
"But?"
"We are going to fight now."
Wu Yang declared leaving Zhao Luo shocked for a moment.
'He is indeed angry that I left him stranded for two hours. This petty kid.'
Zhao Luo said in his mind.
"If you are not angry then why are we fighting? Why did you even bring me to the training area?"
Zhao Luo questioned Wu Yang with a strange look.
He wasn't even worried about the time they had chosen to come here but there should be a reason for their fight.
"How can I just fight with you?"
Zhao Luo questioned Wu Yang as he stepped towards him.
Wu Yang looked at Zhao Luo who was coming towards him and felt bad.
'I am not fooling him. This was going to happen anyways.'
Wu Yang thought as he stepped back.
He then started walking away from Zhao Luo as he jumped on the closest ring.
"We have to fight cause I am your last challenge. I am the secret disciple."
Wu Yang told him with a serious look in his eyes.
"Are you kidding me? Why would you help me if you are the secret disciple?"
Zhao Luo was right about that. If Wu Yang was the secret disciple and Zhao Luo had to defeat him then.
'Why would you help me get stronger?'
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked at Wu Yang's expression.
"I helped you as that is part of my mission. This fight will end my mission, so come."
Wu Yang told Zhao Luo in a challenging voice as he gestured at him by curling his fingers towards him.
"I am already helping you by coming forward myself so just come."
Wu Yang urged Zhao Luo.
Zhao Luo looked at the decisiveness in the eyes of his first friend that he had made after joining the sect.
'Boom.'
Zhao Luo jumped on the side of the ring and looked directly at Wu Yang's eyes.
Without saying any more words, both understood that the fight would be a barehanded one thus both Zhao Luo and Wu Yang took their stance.
Bang!
Zhao Luo and Wu Yang lunged at each other.
Their limbs being their weapon, Wu Yang was the first to throw his kick at Zhao Luo.
'Bang.'
Zhao Luo blocked Wu Yang's kick with his arm
'....'
Zhao Luo could feel his arms throbbing.
'He is way stronger than senior.'
Zhao Luo realized as he remembered his dight with Senior Mite.
'Bang.'
Wi Yang kicked once more as his kick landed on Zhao Luo's arm again.
Without stopping Wu Yang threw his fist.
An insanely fast punch was coming at Zhao Luo.
"Aiming at my face? How cheap."
Zhao Luo taunted Wu Yang as he brought his palm in the way of the attack to block Wu Yang's attack.
Shockingly for Zhao Luo, Wu Yang had curved his fist's trajectory resulting in the next moment.
'Bang.'
Zhao Luo was hit directly in his abdomen causing him to crouch as his knees hit the ground just on the third strike.
'What power?'
Zhao Luo was shocked as he could feel his stomach rattling inside his body.
Zhao Luo looked up and barely saw the cold expression of Wu Yang as the moonlight shined above them.

Arnar the Dungeon
Arnar is a dungeon core. Everybody knows dungeons are evil, man-eating entities hell-bent on killing and absorbing whatever wanders inside their depths. The problem is no one ever told him that. Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way. Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
