Zhao Luo attached his 'VIII' badge back on his robe.

"Yes. Your strength already exceeds the eighth 'VIII' level disciples but only strength doesn't measure one's ability. That is why your level of the badge is that. Once you prove your skills too and accumulate enough skill score, you can easily advance to the ninth '∆' level."

Senior Cutie explained to Zhao Luo as they both left the room.

Zhao Luo was quiet. He was in a frenzy.

For Zhao Luo, advancing to an outer disciple was already an improvement.

But he had already advanced to the eighth level.

For him, this was like skipping multiple stages of a hardly playable game.

'This feels nice.'

With such a thought lingering in his mind like a parasite, a smile emerged on Zhao Luo's face.

While he was happy, Zhao Luo wasn't a person who would forget his goal let alone his ultimate end thus he was already considering his next step.

Without waiting any further, Zhao Luo threw a question at the senior cutie who was walking ahead of him, while projecting a presence of mighty egg on Zhao Luo.

"How do I prove my skills and get those skill scores?"

Zhao Luo's biggest issue was this.

He had learned so few techniques that they could be counted on the fingers of his right hand.

'Except a few techniques, I don't have anything else that I could call my skills, even though my strength score is already on the level of top outer disciples.'

Zhao Luo thought as he waited for an answer to leave the senior's mouth.

Senior Cutie who was walking in front of Zhao Luo turned around to glance at Zhao Luo and then continued walking ahead of him again.

'Hmm.'

'Hmm.'

Zhao Luo could hear a sound coming from Senior Cutie. It was like he was giving Zhao Luo's question a deep thought.

"Your skill score will be measured on the day when the ranking match begins. What we measured was your attack strength which is the most important factor when a disciple is ranked. Everything else, that is, your defense, techniques, mastery with swords, martial arts, and stamina are the other factors that ultimately add up to make your skill score."

"I see. So even if I don't have many techniques, it won't affect my skill score much."

Zhao Luo added right after Senior Cutie stopped.

"Yes, it is like that. But don't worry, from just your strength it will be hard for others to defend your attacks."

Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo.

"As for your techniques, you have a week to learn a technique. Try going to the outer hall's library zone. If you have points, you can exchange a technique for your points from the library."

"I can do that?"

Zhao Luo could remember Wu Yang telling him to use his points to learn a technique too but this was the time when he needed to do what Wu Yang had told him.

"Yes. Since you are already an outer disciple., I will tell you some rules."

Senior Cutie stopped and Zhao Luo could see the bald head of Senior turning as baldy's eyes soon appeared in his sight.

"The outer hall is the fifth biggest place in our Xin Sect. With five secondary halls also known as zones. One of those zones is the entrance hall, it can take up to 10 days if you try to cover every zone by simply walking. As for where we are, this is the entrance..."

"What?"

Zhao Luo was stunned.

Senior was right though as Zhao Luo looked around and realized that he was still walking in the same hall where the multiple rooms were.

"Hehe. I was shocked too when I had advanced as an outer disciple."

Senior Cutie giggled like a girl and pointed at the closed room around the hall.

The doors of these rooms were also ridiculously big.

"These four doors are also the path to other four zones. Except for the room we went in. It was a part of the entrance zone where any outer disciple can get a higher rank if he is accompanied by me. Getting back on the zones, the first door on your left which we have passed already is the Living Zone."

Zhao Luo found Senior Cutie pointing at the toom on his left. 

The door was closed so he could only see the green door.

"You can also keep the door of the living zone in your mind by its green color. The living zone is where your house will be and your meals will also take place in that zone. The door we left behind, on your right is the Training Zone. I don't think I have to explain what the training zone is for."

Senior Cutie stopped to look at Zhao Luo and saw him nodding. 

Zhao Luo looked at the door on his right and realized that the door was red.

'So green for the living zone and red for the training zone.'

Zhao Luo confirmed in his mind as he looked back a the senior who had already started talking again.

"All the disciples of the outer hall are probably training in the training zone. That leaves the other two zones that are up ahead. The door on your left is the entrance to the library, that is where we are going. You can see the yellow door right?"

Senior Cutie asked Zhao Luo while Zhao Luo had his eyes squinted as he focused on the yellow square that didn't even look quarter of the other two doors behind them.

"Yes. Then what is the last zone for? The zone behind that last door."

Zhao Luo asked the baldy as his gaze drifted to the right and landed on a black door.

"That black door is the most important place in the outer hall. The Mission Zone. It is where you can get missions assigned by the Sect for the outer disciples. Every mission has a reward ranging from Xin Coins, techniques, and points. Though the mission that award points are extremely hard and a group is required to complete those missions."

Senior Cutie explained to Zhao Luo as this covered all the zones and the respective distribution of these places.

"I see. Thank you for explaining everything to me."

Zhao Luo bowed his head and thanked the Senior Cutie.

It wasn't like Zhao Luo didn't find this senior weird anymore. But, even though one was weird it didn't make them bad. This was the case of this particular senior who had been explaining all the important things to Zhao Luo.

"Don't worry. It's my job and I am just doing it to the best of my ability."

Senior Cutie waved his hand and picked up his steps as the yellow door was still quite far from them.

Zhao Luo was once again impressed by this bald senior's character.

'Even though he doesn't have anything on his head, he still doesn't hold anything back.'

Zhao Luo looked at the shining head of the senior while complimenting Senior Cutie's generosity in a bold way.

Zhao Luo while following behind Senior Cutie kept on looking at the yellow square that still looked the same small size as before.

"Are we even getting closer?"

Zhao Luo mumbled as he couldn't help but remember the dragon road.

'Hmm.'

Zhao Luo wondered about what he should ask the senior while they reached the yellow door where the library zone was.

'Ahhh.'

Something popped up in Zhao Luo's mind.

"Senior C-cutie, since you are a disciple of the outer hall, you should be an outer disciple BUT I haven't seen your badge. So what is your level?"

Zhao Luo asked as he caught up to Senior Cutie and while walking alongside him, he was looking at his face.

Zhao Luo could see a momentary change in the expression of the baldy.

"My badge... I forgot to bring it today. It's in my room. As for my level, it's not worth mentioning."

Senior Cutie acted polite for the first time as he answered Zhao Luo.

'He forgot...'

Zhao Luo couldn't believe that such a character could forget his badge.

'He is hiding his level too.'

Zhao Luo got more suspicious but he dropped the matter as it didn't look like Senior Cutie wanted to answer him.

'Hmm.'

While looking at the door, Zhao Luo realized that the door had gotten closer as the yellow light got bigger.

But there was still a long way to reach the door so he thought of something else.

"So how can a level '∆' nine outer disciples become an inner disciple?"

Zhao Luo questioned.

There was still another creepy senior that he had to meet soon.

'Senior Zi Fei.'

Zhao Luo remembered the creepy laugh of Zi Fei as he shuddered.

"First you need to complete five A-rank missions. The A-rank missions are mostly killing beasts around our Xin Mountain Range. The other requirement will be your scores of strength and skill."

"Mhmm."

Senior Cutie answered Zhao Luo while Zhao Luo remembered the requirements in the answer by heart.

'So I need to complete five A-rank missions.'

Zhao Luo thought while walking beside Senior Cutie.

After a few minutes of walking at a fast pace.

"Here we are."

Senior Cutie said as he opened the yellow door and entered it.

Zhao Luo who was still outside also took a step to enter through the yellow door.

"Welcome to the library zone."

Senior Cutie's voice entered Zhao Luo's ears who was entering the zone.

"What..."

A bright light blinded Zhao Luo as a big tower entered his eyes.
