《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 191: Qualified

Zhao Luo turned towards the elder and politely addressed him.
"Elder!"
The elder looked at Zhao Luo and found Zhao Luo giving him a short bow.
After which Zhao Luo opened his mouth. "Elder, since the first disciple is unconscious, will I automatically qualify to fight the top hundred disciples?"
Zhao Luo's question was on point since according to the rules that the elder had mentioned earlier, one was supposed to defeat the first disciple before he could go on to challenge the top hundred outer disciples who were standing in the left direction of the elder.
"YES!"
The elder replied to Zhao Luo after which he looked towards the other disciples.
"But those who couldn't even win the first fight will directly be eliminated as for those who have won their fights... They will have to fight the second disciple."
The elder told the others just to find the second disciple to be unconscious too.
"J-just challenge the third one and if you win, you will be qualified for the next battles."
The elder said while looking a little confused.
'The battles ended pretty quickly.'
The elder thought as before Zhao Luo and Xiao Yu started, he was more focused on the other disciples since it was obvious that they will win fast but they had even exceeded his calculation.
Both fights ended in a few seconds thus the elder wasn't ready.
[ Those who qualify can gather on this side while the one's who are eliminated from further battles can join the spectator's seats ]
The elder first pointed far in the direction in front of him and then moved his sight to the seats in the colosseum.
[ After all those, who qualify are gathered there, then the qualifiers can start challenging the top hundred disciples to... ]

[ Take the spot of the ones they defeat! ]
The elder announced as the heart of the disciples in the spectator's seat and the other spectators started jumping around.
They couldn't wait to see who qualifies and who the qualifiers will challenge.
Zhao Luo got off the stage to walk towards the back where the elder had pointed earlier just to find Xiao Yu walking ahead of him.
"Hey."
Zhao Luo said to get Xiao Yu's attention.
"What?"
Xiao Yu replied in a crisp tone as though he was ready to fight a verbal battle.
"Good job."
Zhao Luo showed him a thumbs up with a wide smile on his face.
After exchanging a few blows with Xiao Yu, Zhao Luo already felt that he had gotten close to Xiao Yu, thus he didn't mind complimenting Xiao Yu for qualifying.
"You too."
Xiao Yu replied.
His voice had lowered a little and his tone had softened after seeing Zhao Luo's smile radiating in front of him.
'Hmm.'
Turning back around he rushed towards the side of the ground where the elder had pointed earlier.
Zhao Luo followed behind him.
Reaching the side where the qualifiers were meant to gather, Zhao Luo started spectating the other fights.
Zhao Luo quickly glanced around and found the ones he was looking for.
"Hmm, they are doing good."
His eyes landed on Feng Ma, Si Chen, Pi Hao, and Mo Anna.
Feng Ma looked more like someone who was fooling around with his enemy.
Zhao Luo couldn't help but keep on spectating his fight.
-
On the stage, Feng Ma was on, there was a disciple who was standing in front of him.
He looked like the person who was having a really bad day.
"Senior are you already tired?"

Feng Ma questioned the disciple he was fighting.
He had chosen a disciple who was around the 200s, to get a general idea of the strength that these nine hundred disciples had.
'What a disappointment.'
Feng Ma thought as he didn't feel challenged at all by the disciple who was limping over to one side while looking down.
"You rat."
Even though the disciple was hardly standing, he still had the will to curse Feng Ma.
"If y-you didn't use those weird moves of yours, I would have e-easily defeated you."
"Hah, you aren't even able to say the word easy on your first try, so how would you be able to defeat my drunken moves?"
Feng Ma scoffed at the disciple's statement as he brought his wine flask near his mouth.
'Gulp.'
"Hah."
"Nothing tastes better than drinking wine in front of a frustrated enemy."
Feng Ma loudly said after he took a sip from his wine flask.
'Grrrr.'
The disciple in front of him was so angry that he collected all the strength he had left in his body and rushed at Feng Ma while swinging his fist.
'Thud!'
Feng Ma quickly closed in too, from the other side.
The disciple who only had enough strength to release one last attack wasn't ready to defend himself against Feng Ma's strike.
Feng Ma dodged the disciple's fist by wobbling to the left side as he brought his wine flask towards the disciple's face.
BAAM!
The wine flask landed squarely on the face of his target.
The power behind his hit was enough to send this disciple on a return trip to hell's gate.
'Thud!'
The disciple fell to his knees as he was knocked out instantly on the spot.
'Clap.'
Feng Ma turned his head around as he heard the faint sound of someone clapping right after his fight had ended.
"Brother..."
On the end of the other side, Zhao Luo was standing with his hands clasped together.
'Nod.'
Both nodded at each other while Feng Ma went on to fight another disciple who stood at the seventh rank among these nine hundred disciples.
-
Zhao Luo looked brightly at the others as he believed in Feng Ma's abilities.
'There is no way that his next opponent would be able to defeat him.'
Zhao Luo had such blind confidence in Feng Ma's abilities.
Moving on to the others, Si Chen and Pi Hao was also fighting their second opponents.
They aimed to qualify, so the ones they were fighting were obviously the leftover top disciples.
'Tap, Tap.'
Zhao Luo heard food steps approaching him and looked ahead.
"You already qualified?"
Zhao Luo questioned the owner of those footsteps.

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.

Sustaining the King's Life
On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. "Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy." To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence, similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed: A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead... and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid. ** 1-2 chapters a day (GMT+8) ** (The artwork belongs to me.
