《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 216: Break My Wall

Xiao Yu had closed his palms once again while spreading his legs wide to get a better foothold on the stage.
'It seems he is ready.'
Zhao Luo mumbled while lowering his body.
"I should surprise you."
Zhao Luo told Xiao Yu as he raised his ankle and pushed his toes backward.
"Mini Walk."
'Woosh.'
Zhao Luo flashed from his space and appeared between his earlier position and Xiao Yu.
"Mini Walk."
Zhao Luo used his own shorter version of Half Walk and appeared behind Xiao Yu.
"Behind you."
Zhao Luo said coldly as he threw a lightning-fast punch towards Xiao Yu's back.
Xiao Yu wasn't surprised at all instead he moved his legs on the stage as though he was sliding on it.
"I already know."
Xiao Yu's slowly said and broke away his left palm from his right hand.
"Bullet Fist."
Zhao Luo shouted as his punch was extremely close to hitting Xiao Yu's sides as he was turning around.
But then a palm came at his fist with an amazing speed.
"Eight Palm Stance, Eighth Palm: Wall."
Xiao Yu mumbled as his palm and Zhao Luo's fist struck each other.
"Boom."
Both Zhao Luo and Xiao Yu were pushed back by three steps.
Neither of them waited for the other as Zhao Luo took a step forwards and released a barrage of fists at Xiao Yu who had been facing both of his palms at Zhao Luo.
'It's like my fists are landing on some unbreakable wall.'
Zhao Luo looked annoyed as each of his fists was perfectly blocked by Xiao Yu, whose palms would appear in the way of Zhao Luo's fists every time.
'This isn't working.'
Zhao Luo tried to back off as his plan of going all out was not working.
While Zhao Luo tried to move back, Xiao Yu closed in thus not giving him any space to breathe.
"Third palm: Life."
Xiao Yu aimed the edge of his right palm towards the left side of Zhao Luo's neck.
Even though Zhao Luo was backing off, his arms were already in motion and his eyes were focused on Xiao Yu's movement.
Before Xiao Yu's palm could reach his neck, Zhao Luo reversed his movement.
Instead of going backward, he pushed himself towards Xiao Yu while raising his left arm to block Xiao Yu's palm.

"Thud!"
Xiao Yu's palm landed on Zhao Luo's arm while Zhao Luo threw his right fist at Xiao Yu.
"Bullet Fist."
Xiao Yu reacted late by just the tenth of a second and his left palm could only slow down Zhao Luo's fist but not block it.
"Eat my fist."
"BOOM!"
Zhao Luo shouted as his fist landed squarely on Xiao Yu's stomach.
In front of everyone's eyes, Xiao Yu eas raised two feet above the stage with just the force of Zhao Luo's bullet fist.
'Thud.'
He landed back on the stage on his knees and Zhao Luo had also backed off since his right arm felt numb after blocking the life palm.
"Agh."
Xiao Yu got up and looked down as a streak of blood leaked from his mouth.
His robe had been ripped around his stomach and his back.
"I-it's not over."
Xiao Yu slowly said to Zhao Luo as beads of sweat fell from his forehead and his blood dripped from his mouth.
'I fell for his movements.'
Xiao Yu thought as he had left his positions to attack Zhao Luo thus leaving himself open for a surprise attack.
"Hmm."
Zhao Luo lowered his body as he realized the decisive look on Xiao Yu's face.
He rushed at Xiao Yu with his arms pulled back and his hands tightened into a fist.
Zhao Luo was ready to launch his fists at Xiao Yu.
Xiao Yu calmly waited for Zhao Luo to reach him but even though he looked calm, painful energy from Zhao Luo's earlier attack was rampaging through his body.
Zhao Luo released his fists at Xiao Yu with an explosive speed.
'Bang!'
'Bang, Bang!'
Bullet Fist after bullet fist was blocked by Xiao Yu but with each fist, the pressure on him continued to accumulate.
"Bullet Fist."
"Wall."
Zhao Luo used his left fist to attack while Xiao Yu brought his right palm to defend.
The battle continued for more than ten minutes.
"Your movements have slowed down."
Zhao Luo said to Xiao Yu as he frowned at him.
"Same for you. If you keep on using your right arm, you will destroy it."
Xiao Yu replied while pointing at Zhao Luo's right arm.
'It's as he said.'
Zhao Luo knew that Xiao Yu wasn't bluffing.

'It was numb before but now I can feel the pieces of my bones stabbing my skin while trying to appear out of my arm.'
"I can easily last longer than you, so admit defeat."
Zhao Luo told Xiao Yu as their fight had stopped momentarily.
For Zhao Luo, his win was just a few moments away but from the look on Xiao Yu's face, even if Zhao Luo won he wouldn't be satisfied.
"I will admit defeat..."
Xiao Yu muttered out coldly.
'Ah, I can finally rest.'
Zhao Luo smiled as his time to rest wasn't far off now.
Just then Xiao Yu continued.
"That is if you can break my wall."
The condition was presented to Zhao Lup whose head was drooping as he felt betrayed after rejoicing his win.
"If you want to die, I will break your wall."
Zhao Luo said to Xiao Yu as he glared at him.
"Then come and kill me, if you can."
Xiao Yu brought his palms in front of Zhao Luo as he waited for Zhao Luo's offense.
'I will use it.'
Zhao Luo stepped towards Xiao Yu who patiently waited for his move.
'I can only defend a few more times.'
Xiao Yu thought while feeling extremely nervous for the first time in his life.
'This is a first for me.'
While controlling his nervousness, Xiao Yu didn't know if he should feel happy or be worried.
Looking at the nervous expression on Xiao Yu's face, Zhao Luo halted for a moment.
'No!'
'I need to end this.'
Zhao Luo pulled back both of his fists at the same time.
With his arms resting right next to his sides waiting to be launched back at his enemy, Zhao Luo slowly opened his mouth.
"Fist..."
Zhao Luo clenched his fists with his whole strength.
'Ack.'
A surging pain erupted from Zhao Luo's right arm but he couldn't back down now.
"Of..."
Zhao Luo fist moved towards Xiao Yu.
"Yin and Yang."
Both fists closed in on Xiao Yu who brought his palms to stop Zhao Luo's fists.
The moment Zhao Luo's arms were completely opened over his arm span, Xiao Yu's palms touched his fists.
With widened eyes, a small yet hallow black and white sigil entered his sight which was enveloping his palms, after initiating from Zhao Luo's fists.
The moment the yin and yang sigil covered his palms, the energy of the fist of yin and yang exploded.
The mysterious powers of the explosive fist and the calming fist swarmed Xiao Yu's body and he was blown away by the resulting force of Zhao Luo's technique.
"BOOOM."
'Whoosh.'
"Bang!"
Xiao Yu flew straight towards the spectator's seat as he crashed into the space of the colosseum.
[ Z-Zhao...]
[ Zhao Luo wins the fight, thus defending his rank, SUCCESSFULLY ]
The elder who was shocked by Zhao Luo's strength hurriedly announced.
Listening to the announcement and looking back at Xiao Yu thrown away from the stage like an ant, the spectators could barely wait to wake up from their shock, and the moment they did,
"Woah~"
"What was that in the end?"
"What amazing strength."
"That's our future Leader!"
"Extraordinary."
Everyone started clapping while shouting out different types of praises as they were awed by Zhao Luo's prowess.
The disciples started chanting Zhao Luo's name while praising him.
"Zhao Luo~"
"Zhao Luo~"
Zhao Luo looked around with an exhausted face and a smile which showed how satisfied he was.
"Zhao Luo, MARRY ME~"
Female disciples could barely hold themselves back from rushing towards Zhao Luo but then a single loud noise silenced them all.
"Zhao Luo, I love you."
A confession in a manly voice caught everyone's attention and all the female disciples directed their gaze towards the owner of that voice with hatred.
"Haha, Senior Cutie. That damn baldy."
Zhao Luo laughed while glaring at his bald senior.
[ The tournament has ended and the final rankings will be updated according to the current ranks ]
[ Everyone is free to leave ]
The elder announced as this was the last announcement of the tournament.
Since it was just a tournament between the outer disciples, there weren't any particular rewards except the fame and the respect that one received with his rank.
"Finally."
Zhao Luo mumbled as he looked around.
His first gaze went towards the curtain through which he had entered the stage area.
The tournament which ended in less than a few hours felt like an eternity to him.
Zhao Luo couldn't help but grin while looking at Mo Anna, Feng Ma, Si Chen, Pi Hao, Big Bean, and Senior Cutie who had jumped on the stage and were making their way towards him.
"Zhao Luo."
They all said.

Glitch — Alpha [Swedish] [Svenska]
********* For English readers: (Might as well add this information in English to save the lovely souls looking through our works some time) I probably won't translate this work, but I'm working on another translation within YA, if that's something you'd be interested in. This one's horror/thriller, so.. yeah. Maybe sometime in the future. Otilia works at a daycare when a child disappears. Seconds later, the child reappears, like nothing had happened. She thinks she's worked too much, but when disappearences start to happen all around the globe, she and her boyfriend realize that something has gone really, really wrong. When they get an idea about what could be the cause, no matter how unbelievable, they will do everything in their power to get the information to the right people. This was my first-ever-novel and my first gamelit story (though I had no idea that was a thing/genre at the time). This novel contains a lot of violence and blood and can be uncomfortable to read for some people. There is also some violence from, and off-screen violence to, children.
