"Indeed. Let's get the bodies of the spies."
Zhao Luo said to Xiao Yu and Pi Hao after replying to Senior Cutie.
"Since she is still alive, we will get the bonus too."
Zhao Luo looked at the leader who was unconscious and tied.
"But why did you tie her like that?"
He asked Senior Cutie with a weird look in his eyes and an embarrassed face.
Senior Cutie had tied the silver chain around her chest while giving it a spin twice which gave her robe a more seductive look.
"What are you staring at? She is just an enemy. It doesn't matter how I tie her if it seals her movement."
Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo and Zhao Luo nodded since the first spin of the chain was tied above her elbow and the second one was below it so she wouldn't be able to move her arms.
While Zhao Luo was talking to Senior Cutie, Xiao Yu and Pi Hao were already gathering the bodies of the spies.
They had already gathered 15 of them while one was buried under the sand.
Zhao Luo took that one out and stacked them over the leader of the spies.
She was now buried under the bodies of her subordinates.
"We have collected the bodies and the leader has been captured alive too."
Pi Hao happily told Xiao Yu and Zhao Luo as they made their way towards Bimba.
Senior Cutie was already on it and the others were making their way towards Bimba and him.
"We should go to the dread forest first. The beast subjugation missions can wait."
Looking at them getting on Bimba, Senior Cutie told them the plan.
While listening to him, Xiao Yu was the first to jump on Bimba, sitting next to the corpses of the spies. Pi Hao followed and sat next to Senior Cutie.

Zhao Luo got on Bimba at last and opened his mouth.
"Or we may face those beasts while going towards the forest."
Zhao Luo wondered since there could be a chance of encountering those beasts as they made their way towards the forest.
"That could happen too. Just be ready to face anything that comes your way."
Senior Cutie advised them since he was the oldest here.
'I need to be ready like before.'
He thought since the desert was so vast with unknown variables that could be eyeing them.
Zhao Luo lowered his body and patted on Bimba's head.
"Let's go, Bimba."
He told Bimba while pointing towards the left.
"ROAR."
Bimba let out a cry and started running towards the direction, Zhao Luo had pointed at.
Even though his speed had decreased by three times, it still made the traveling effortless for Zhao Luo and the others, since they could just rest on Bimba's back.
-
In an hour, the four were halfway towards the dread forest.
Because of all the weight on Bimba and the continuous running, made his speed drop by another step than before.
"Oh, I can see the forest."
Zhao Luo squinted his eyes as he stared into the far distance to catch the size of a small gree dot.
That was how far the forest was but now their journey was only an hour long.
Zhao Lup touched Bimba's back.
"Once we reach the forest, you can rest for a while."
He told the beast as though he could feel his exhaustion.
"roar~"
Bimba let out a happy cry since he had just been promised a reward by his master.
"Haha, what a cute cat."
Zhao Luo laughed while hearing the soft roar of Bimba.
Zhao Luo who was calling Bimba, a cute cat, had no idea that Senior Cutie was staring at him.

"Little Brother, you sure are weird. From which angle is he cute. You shouldn't act blind even if he is your tamed beast."
Senior Cutie jokingly said to Zhao Luo as Zhao Luo stopped patting Bimba's back.
"Is that a rule?"
Zhao Luo replied without looking back.
His eyes were still fixed on the dread forest.
"It's my beast. If I want to, I can call it baldy too."
Zhao Luo said while scoffing at Senior Cutie's joke.
'Who is joking with who here?'
Pi Hao thought as he looked at them exchanging silly taunts with each other.
"Childish."
Xiao Yu said without caring about them hearing his comment and closed his eyes.
Zhao Luo who picked up on Xiao Yu's comment smiled as he remembered how Xiao Yu was always acting hard on the outside but carried a gentle heart inside him.
"What a tsund- oh shit."
While saying something about Xiao Yu, Zhao Luo slowly turned back just to be shocked.
A large number of beasts with their mouths open and bodies barely visible were following them without making any noise.
Listening to Zhao Luo's curse and his wide-open eyes, they all followed his gaze to look back too.
"Drift Worms."
Senior Cutie mumbled with cold eyes.
The worms were 7 meters tall with their mouths opened.
Their bodies were covered by a dust cloud formed by their strange movement on the sand.
"There are thirty of them."
Zhao Luo said as he closely looked at their number.
The giant worms were coming at them with a fast yet silent approach but it didn't matter anymore since Zhao Luo had already seen them.
'There is still a lot of distance between us.'
The worms were still a hundred or so meters away from them.
"Bimba stop."
Zhao Luo ordered the beast as he stood on its back.
Xiao Yu and Pi Hao also got up as they looked ready to fight the drift worms.
"Ah, I wanted to rest till we reached the dread forest."
Senior Cutie unwillingly got up while complaining.
"Just take it out on the worms."
Zhao Luo told him as he got down from Bimba after the beast had stopped on the side.
It was like parking a car and getting out of it to face some random mobs.
Zhao Luo took out his swords and rushed towards the drift worms who were making their way towards him rapidly.

World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
