"Sword?"

With a surprised look, Zhao Luo looked at Xiao Yu.

While Zhao Luo was busy with Xiao Yu's sudden request, Senior Cutie had already leaped towards the incoming horde of giant sand rats.

"You can use a sword too?"

Zhao Luo asked again as though he couldn't believe that Xiao Yu was asking for a sword.

Xiao Yu was someone whose palm technique was at a level that Zhao Luo had never seen before, and yet he could also use a sword.

"Do you think you are the only one who can use both sword and fists while being equally good in both arts?"

Xiao Yu asked in an annoyed manner while turning around to ask for a sword from Pi Hao.

"You have a point."

Zhao Luo nodded since he felt like he was getting too ahead of himself.

"Here you go."

Before Pi Hao could answer Xiao Yu's request, Zhao Lup took out Blackey and passed it to Xiao Yu.

'Tap.'

Xiao Yu grabbed it and while swinging it in the air, he started moving towards the giant rats.

"Do you need a sword too?"

Zhao Luo asked Pi Hao with an expecting look but sadly Pi Hao shook his head.

"I have only trained my fists."

Pi Hao said to Zhao Luo as he didn't feel down even though he was surrounded by talented individuals.

"Let's go then."

Zhao Luo said as he slashed his glass sword in which the old man's soul was trapped and for now, the old man was spending his time sleeping.

Both Zhao Luo and Pi Hao followed behind Xiao Yi and a moment later, they clashed with the small army of giant rats.

Contrary to their ferocious nature the rats not only looked cute but also most of the area of their feet was covered with pink-looking paws.

'They look cute.'

Zhao Luo thought as to when he closed in on one of the 2-meter tall beasts it attacked Zhao Luo by swinging both of its paws at him.

But the moment those paws reached Zhao Luo, five sharp claws popped up at the top of the paws as they were brought down on Zhao Luo by the giant sand rat.

"Shit."

Zhao Luo was taken back as he hurriedly swung his glass sword at the sharp claws.

'Swish.'

Without any resistance, the glass sword passed through the sharp claws of the rat as though they were butter.

'Wow.'

Zhao Luo exclaimed and then raised his ankles while pushing his toes with all of his strength to push his body forward.

"Half Walk."

Zhao Luo flashed from his space and appeared right on top of the giant rat as he brought down the glass sword on its head.

"Burst Slash."

'Swoosh.'

The sword passed through the rat's body in abrupt motion, while Zhao Luo slowly landed on the sandy ground.

Looking at their fallen comrade, the giant rats turned aggressive as they attacked Zhao Luo in a group.

Four different battles were going on as Zhao Luo, Xiao Yu, Senior Cutie, and Pi Hao all fought away from each other as this divided the number of the giant rats.

"Mini Walk."

'Woosh.'

Zhao Luo left the rising dust on the spot where he was, as he used Mini Walk to close in on the incoming wave of beasts.

"Slash, Slash..."

With every swing of his sword, a rat would fall as its purple blood would be splattered on the sand.

A little away from him, Senior Cutie was on a rampage.

"Ha."

"Boom."

"Splash."

He brought down his heavy rod on the giant sand rat and under the pressure, the rat kept on going down and down, and soon its body exploded like a balloon.

In every few swings followed by his weird and horrifying yells, he would smash a giant rat.

Soon the beasts realized, that the baldy was even crazier than a beast like themselves so they decided to flee but for some reason, Senior Cutie kept on chasing them.

In less than five minutes, Zhao Luo had already killed fifteen giant rats and there were none of them left on his side.

Since the group of rats had forty rats, the beasts were unevenly distributed, among the four. Most of them had leaped at Zhao Luo and had already perished.

'Hmm.'

Zhao Luo looked around with the thought of helping his disciple brothers but to his surprise, Pi Hao was faring pretty well against many rats at the same time, even though he was fighting while being extremely exhausted.

With only two of the giant rats left on his side, he was close to finishing them off.

Zhao Luo turned to look at Senior Cutie and grinned.

"Who is the beast here?"

There was only a single rat left that was squeaking for its life while Senior Cutie brought down his bronze rod on its body.

"Ruthless."

Zhao Luo couldn't watch it anymore and shifted his gaze towards Xiao Yu who was standing with his arms down in the middle of eleven giant rats.

All of them were struggling as there was a big gash left at each of the joints of their four limbs.

Not one of the eleven rats was spared. They were alive but incapacitated.

While swinging blackey in the space, Xiao Yu rotated his body eleven times and each time, a giant rat who had already been impaired would lose its life.

Zhao Luo was looking at Xiao Yu with wide-opened eyes.

At the same time, Xiao Yu smirked while glancing at Zhao Luo as though he was waiting for Zhao Luo to look towards him as he finishes the beasts off.

"So he waited to show off." 

Zhao Luo mumbled but he couldn't refute Xiao Yu's sword skills which he had only gotten a glimpse of as he had only looked at him when he was going to deliver the finishing blow.

'I guess the rat slaughtering mission is done.'

Zhao Luo mumbled as he glanced around and the whole area of the desert was covered by the giant corpses of rats that have been chopped off, smashed in, and sliced apart by them.
