《I'm a brick! But why am I a Humanoid? [A Non-Level LitRPG with a Humanoid MC full of Magic, Drama and Comedic Undertone]》Chapter 26-Where we learn about grades

Don't mind this Spoiler, this is me not knowing how to delete it.
The brick, three months later
'Phew' I said as I ended my daily torture. For the upteenth time I regretted going to that woman for Alchemy classes. I should have known better. If the woman offered good education, why wouldn't lots of children be asking for her to teach them?
After all her Dishonored status made her the perfect person for the job, unlike most Alchemists she was not too occupied with making potions to teach.
Not only that but she would also be forced to teach at a lesser fee. So less fees and more teaching? Wasn't that such an ideal situation?
Maybe I should publicise this? Get people to pay her and she'll be forced to switch to a more student friendly curriculum. But who would I get? Alchemy was ridiculously exclusive.
The fact that it's use needed not one but two grade 4 elements made it even rarer. According to the cards given by Miss Aloise, Alchemy was a side profession for the rich until the discovery of the elemental affinity granting potion by Cantoes Joren 10,000 years ago.
Even then, it merely increased the demand, not the supply for the potions. Until about a thousand years later Joren made the first grade 4 elemental affinity granting potion.
With that Alchemy became mainstream. Slowly it dominated over it's competitors like Pharmaceuticals and Medicinal Science.
While the latter two had a better range of users being generally available to anyone with a high enough Intelligence stat, they had limited range and effectiveness. The pills and surgeries tended to have side effects that were not seen in Alchemy .
They also tended to be less permanent, and often needed to be taken several times before being effective. They did have one advantage though. Whenever a new disease came around, surgery often gave a quick solution.
The doctors, for that was what the practitioners of these professions were called, would merely remove the malfunction organ while Biomagic was used to heal the patient back to health. Though sometimes it did not work as well as the doctors intended, many times resulting In the kind of side effects that rendered Alchemists Dishonored.
But enough of that, after much effort I had finally learned all of the information contained within the cards. Hopefully I'd finally learnt enough to get those Waffles! I'd only been able to partake the delicious treat thrice in the past three months.

The best one was at my seven month birthday when I'd met my father after a long time. Apparently he'd been denied access to me by Meemauy until he completed a task.
That was not the only thing I gained. The System, while still as cranky as ever, had been kind enough to grant me several stats. Especially with the School Curriculum having so many P.E. periods for some reason. Aren’t we supposed to learn in school? Not Play?
Stats Gained!
Wisdom +39
Intelligence +23
Strength +67
Endurance + 93
Flexibility + +51
Precision +55
Perception +63
Combat +17
Aura Force + 66
If the system had followed the original way of stat incrementation I’d probably have way more Wisdom and intelligence stats. Sadly there was apparently a change in the difficulty after the first 100 stats. It had something to do with the Grades. I’d found a textbook that explained it quite well
Grades. The denomination that decides your place in society. There are an unlimited number of Grades as no limit to the stat increases has been discovered. After the seventh Grade however, it has been found that further growth becomes nearly impossible as the difficulty increases with only 29 individuals reaching the eight grade and only 11 in the ninth. There has never been any confirmed tenth grader, though it is rumored that the founder of the Arlford family, Donald Arlford and the Lord of the Farewell Lands, whose name is still unknown, is rumored to have reached the stage.
Let us now talk about how the Grades increase. The cross from one grade to another is not blocked by any true barrier though it is often observed that the last stat that would have a person cross the barrier is harder to gain than the rest. No confirmation for this fact has been found however, as the difficulty seems to become noticeable in the Grades 3 and above and Graders of such level have sadly refrained from sharing any information about it.
A Grade is said to be crossed when a person reaches the next exponential of 10 in every grade. The only exception being the first Grade, which covers two exponentials. The crossing comes with an increase in the difficulty of gaining stats that also gains exponentially.
The Grades are named by many countries in many manners. In this book I shall refer to the numeral forms of the Grades that are most commonly used and in the opinion of this author are the best currently in use.

First is the gradeless Grade.Lasting from 0 to 100 in all stats, it is reserved to children below three years old, the grade grants you know increase in fitness except that which is naturally gained. It merely unlocks the natural abilities one has, According to Donald Arlford, the Grade has allowed Algrea to produce children much more mature than those found on his homeland Earth. Apparently children there often do not have complete command of their language and usually resort to the usage of simpler words.
Next is the Primal Grade, lasting from 101 to 1000 in all stats, the grade is the one that lasts most Blameru to adulthood. It grants limited power and magic with each stat, though according to Donald Arlford it takes the stats to peak Olympic levels on Earth.A stage achieved only by the best there apparently.
Next comes Grade 1, lasting from 1001 to 10,000 in all stats, it is the first of the numbered Grades and is also the one which gives a semblance of power in each stat. It is usually reserved for the College years. One thing to note is that the Grade often takes less time to cross than the Primal Grade since the members of this Grade often resort to stat incrementing potions since this is the first grade that barely justifies its use.
The ones that are more ambitious and capable may not resort to such actions but they are known to still cross it in comparable amounts of time due to the effort put in.
Next is Grade 2, lasting from 10,001 to 100,000 the Grade is where the adult population of Banmeru halts. Most of the populace find that it is no longer worth it to advance beyond this level even if they are afforded better opportunities by doing so. The Grade occupies most of the professional seats like those of Doctors, Engineers and Clerks.
Then comes Grade 3, lasting from 100,001 to 1,000,000, the Grade is one reserved for the older population or the more ambitious young ones. Reaching this is usually achieved after the age of 50 for the working professionals since they do not then focus on the sheer stats but instead on their skills which are much more useful to them.
Then Grade 4,5,6 are the longevity Grades, these increase one’s lifespan with each stat and thus sought over. Most reach Grade 4 by 70, Grade 5 by 120 and Grade 6 by 180 years of age and stop there. The final lifespan of a Grade 6 is unknown as none of them have died as of yet.
Little is known about Grade 7,8,9 except that there are less than 1000 of them total in Algrea. They also dominate the top of the political structure. All Kings, Emperors and Rules either are one or have the backing of one. Any nation that has tried to claim sovereignty has found itself vassal to one of these forces very quickly.

(On Hiatus While I Practice Writing With A New Story) This is a story of connections. A story of a Writer and his pen and paper. Follow the writer as he creates Syndesi, the personification of The Invisible String. See how they change the world around them through the relationships they make. And in doing so, change themselves. PS. it's fantasy but there are no elves, no magic, no superpower. just realistic people living their normal lives, facing struggles like every human being but that alone doesn't sound interesting, does it? How about a special dimension that connects the lead characters? (check out Chapter 2 - The White Horizon) Art Cover Credit: Asviloka Post Timings: (unsure for now as I am rewriting the chapters to make it polished. Hopefully once per week on Fridays) This would allow me to post something you can read every week without abandoning the story. It's a journey, I know. But I'm ready to continue without stopping. Every Hateful Instrument
Hail-and-Farewell Vinright is a pirate, ferrying drugs and weapons across the galaxy. When he discovers that the headaches he's been plagued with are not a sign that he has a brain tumor, and are instead the rare God-given gift of the power, one in a million psychic abilities, Hail sees the opportunity to help his family profit. Only people with the power can build the stardrives at the core of every ship, and the market for them is controlled by the Imperial government. Pirates would pay huge sums for one, so Hail's family enters the market. Aymon Sandreas is the least likely candidate to take the Imperial throne upon the retirement of his master, First Herrault. When Aymon steps too far out of line, his master sends him away to find the pirates who are flooding the galaxy with stardrives, destabilizing the Imperial government and the spacefaring Guild. Expecting an easy but boring task, Aymon's interest is piqued when the mysterious stardrive maker proves a clever and capable adversary. When Hail and Aymon finally come face to face, Aymon offers Hail an opportunity: work for me, in exchange for your life. Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.

Loot Sisters
Loot Sisters is a light-hearted flash fiction serial of 100-word episodes inspired by RPGs and hunting for quests. I don't have a set plan for where the story goes, as each week, I write my story around three random words posted weekly on The Prediction (an online flash fiction challenge group). I hope you enjoy the story! :) My characters include Maya (the narrator and a bit of a rogue-like character), Vera (our healer/mage), Felicia (resident navigator and lover of gadgets), and Rach (a fighter/brawler). Cover illustration is of Maya by Luminita Pham.

Follow both protagonists in their struggle to reunite as they discover the world, themselves, and most importantly: Love. *** Updates...as I write them. Will have a proper one post-write-a-thon! (The Gore tag is there due to action scenes. I don't plan on being overly verbose about anything, it's there so everyone feels safe!)
