《I indeed don't know how to cultivate》chapter 5 Defeat

Succuba had to believe what Wang Yan said.
Gathering her strength, she regained control of her body and then sped away. Then, the demons spreading all over the mountains and hills receded like a falling tide.
Succuba's voice echoed in the empty valley, "I would declare this one a tie. For the sake of the grand master behind, your life share be pardoned."
Now thousands of miles away, Long Yi found it hard to believe, "How can that be!"
He even slapped himself in the face to make sure that he was not dreaming, even if the presence of their master would not have resolved this crisis that easily.
And all it took was a painting?
It was such a mind-blowing fact that ultimately overthrew how he saw the real power in the world.
Turning his head around, he gave up his intention of going for his master.
Wang Yan looked down at the disciples of Purple Sect, who were all jaw-dropping at the scene, and said somewhat awkwardly, "Relax, we shall be fine for now. Everyone take some rest to recover yourselves."
She thought the painting would bail her out of that predicament, while it turned out to defeat the demons and drive them all away.
In an instant, all the members of the Purple Sect cheered.
"Victory!
"Our lives are spared!"
"Bro, I am so fearful for my life. I thought I was doomed..."
A ray of light came rushing towards them from a distance.
Wan Yan sensed Long Yi was in an awful situation and flashed forward to catch him before falling.
With his face deadly pale, Long Yi forced a smile and coughed, "Sis, you made it... Cough, cough!"
His Qi was in such a disorder and running madly in his body as the injury on his body broke again, and blood oozed from his wound.

"Have you used the forbidden spell?"
She did not need his answer to know for sure. She took out a small porcelain bottle from her chest and poured out two pills to supplement their consumed Qi, one for Long Yi and one for herself. Then the two sat cross-legged together and started healing their wounds.
In the hall, Wang Yan felt terrible for the injured elders.
"The damage is so bad?"
All the elders lowered their heads and did not dare to look at her.
Since the master went missing and Long Yi took the time to recover himself, Wan Yan took over the businesses, tremendous or petty.
After a moment of deliberation, she made a decision.
"Let's call it a day! Go back to your own post and look after your own disciples. Purple Sect's destine is at stake, I shall show no mercy to the clowns whoever trying to make a wave at the moment..." She opened the roll of painting to let out a burst of intimidating Qi.
She knew better than anyone else that some fellow apprentices were even worse than the demons in the room, even if they acted like men of integrity.
All the elders, with or without an evil intention was intimidated by the mysterious and strong Qi coming out from the roll.
...
Wan Yan waited patiently after casting the spell at the seal guarding the door to the house seated behind the grand palace of Purple Sect. Soon, the magic seal of the door was lifted.
She stood at the threshold and talked to Long Yi, who sat in mediation to recover himself, "Bro, Purple Sect is still counting on you. As for the search of our master... Leave it to me."
Long Yi nodded silently. Wan Yan turned around and rode on her Purple Sword, which was shining a dazzling light.

Long Yi was a bit worried, "Hopefully... Master would be safe."

Zhang Jian was making vegetable soup in the kitchen.
The smell wafted through the house. Cerberus's tail wagged wildly outside, his eyes glistening.
"Woof..."
Hearing Cerberus barking, Zhang Jian complained, "Every time I cook soup, you bark impatiently..."
Even so, he still filled half of its bowl up with soup.
Zhang Jian was stunned at the way Cerberus licked the bowl.
"Do the dogs here like vegetables so much?"
Cerberus's wagging tail suddenly stiffened before it argued.
"Not again?! Hum!"
Wang Yan was riding the sword in the air while a muffled sound from afar stroke her on the chest and into her soul. Qi flow within her body was disturbed. She tried hard to regain her balance on the sword.
"Girl, you again?"
She was startled at the voice from a seemingly old man sounding in her ear.
Soul voice transmission from afar... It meant this senior could attack her and deal damage at her if he wanted to.
The usual distance of sonic wave transmission was within the range of attack.
Wan Yan showed her intention honestly, "I am here to see a senior in the hut and ask about my master's whereabouts. My apologies if I trespass your territory. It would be highly appreciated if you could let me pass."
Seconds later, the voice rang in her head again.
"In that case... Come on in."
Being permitted, Wan Yan kept ongoing. Landing in front of the house, she thought, "Would it be too rude for me to keep bothering the senior."
Just while she was hesitating, a gentle voice came from the yard.
"Come in and have a seat."
Wang Yan's pupils shrank, "It seems that the elder knows I will come." That was not surprising.
Seeing Wang Yan standing outside the courtyard from the kitchen, Zhang Jian thought she had been waiting for a long time without knowing that she had flown here on her sword.

Legendary Twilight Farmer
This is a story I created for fun after reading some LN (Korean/Japanese). The first few chapters might be a familiar to some, but then again, it will evolve after that in a very different way. I'll be updating it as frequent as I can depending on my time since I have another story to write. Since English is my 6th language that I speak, don't expect perfect grammar from me. I'm still improving as I go along. [Below is the real sypnosis] ***** Once a hero, now a zero. As a soldier, Bryan Walker was both fearless and skilful. However, fate had handed him the cruellest of tests. He suffered Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD and now a paraplegic without a penny under his name. Trying to escape the fickle and harsh reality, he shut himself in. His only companion and salvation was the online game called Last Illusion XX Online. Starting from scratch, he rose from the bottom rung and became one of its Legendary Demon King. But that too did not last as the game ceased to operate. However, this time, it was not without its reward. Having a new lease of life given to him, what could Bryan Walker do next as he dived into the new world of VRMMORPG called Noble Path Online? The state of the art game was the best ever created, bridging between reality and fantasy world. A reality he once afraid of, and a fantasy that he cherished and love. They Who Hunt the Forest
As a rule of nature, breaking a wave before it peaks halts and disperses built-up energy. Unfortunately, Fate doesn't play by the rules of nature. The cost of a Fourth war: an equal number of lives, a thousand thousand generations of lost futures, and one infinitely unspeakably tortured soul of a child never given chance to be one. Or, the one where some power-hungry immorals decided to put the words "bijuu," infinite," "natural energy," and "psuedo" together in one sentence, not necessarily in that order. Hope you enjoy!××Willowed_Wisp××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××My breath hitches in my throat, as deep crimson eyes bore into mine through the inky, yet comforting, darkness, and a hand, pale and large compared to my own tiny little paw, begins to reach out for me. A tiny chirp of fear leaves my lips, as I scoot further back until my back hits the cold wall, and flatten my ears against my head." Come on Angel... We won't hurt you." The man soothes, his already thick voice, due to his sexy British accent, sounding thicker due to his long, ivory fangs that gleam silver in the Moonlight, as he tries to coax me out from under the bed.I shake my head violently, my nose twitching wildly, as my fluffy red tail curls around my dark brown paws, and I lower my head until my chin bangs lightly against the wooden floor. I realize, with a jolt of fear, that the Vampire is gone! Leaving Robyn and myself alone. My glowing amber eyes widen, as his hand suddenly whips out from my left, and closes around the back of my neck.I look to Robyn for help, my claws scraping across the floor, creating scratches in the polished wood, only to see the spot where he once was empty. I give a series of terrified yelps, as the man gently pulls me out by the scruff of the neck, and holds me up in front of him.My tiny, dark brown paws churn wildly in the air, my ears flat, and my tail waving around wildly, as he looks me up and down, and then pulls me into his muscular chest...
