《Working at an Isekai Office While Terrible Things Happen》[ARC 3] Chapter 42 - The Return of the Boulder CEO

Dalton climbed the staircase to the tenth floor when he was stopped by the man that broke his ring last time.
Marriage Ender stood at the top of the staircase, posing with his ghost, which was a long haired woman that looked like she had drowned in a well. She pointed at him with her very pale and long fingers. Marriage Ender nodded in affirmation.
“I see him my dear. Brutes I say!”
“Hey,” Dalton took a step up. “Can you let us pass?”
Marriage Ender looked like he had been slapped. “So, you can come waltz in here like some gunslinging bastard, and take out the Best Men? You may have defeated Light Show, and Airwrecka-”
“Wait, I’m sorry, did you say Erica?”
“No, Air-wrecka.”
“I’m hearing Erica, but it doesn’t sound like you’re saying that.”
“Airwrecka!” Marriage Ender turned to his ghost. “You say it.”
[Arka!] The woman’s voice came out like a voice muffled by a wet paper towel.
“Can we just stop. It doesn’t matter,” Marriage Ender said
“You’re the one that brought it up,” Dalton said. “Spell it!”
“A-I-R-W-R-E-C-K-A.” Marriage Ender narrowed his eyes in annoyance. “Happy?”
“No.” Dalton shifted his weight to his other leg. “Who named her?”
“Our master chose it for her.”
“How? By witnessing a plane wreck?”
“You know what! Screw you! That name is beautiful!” Marriage Ender spat. “The bear always wanted a name. She was given one.”
“She’s also dead. Which reminds me.” Dalton clasped Riot’s shoulder giving him a thumbs up. “Go ahead, do your thing.”
Riot gave him a dead look. [Do you not understand how this works? Back a few minutes ago, we had a dramatic moment. It was my duty to come save you when you were about to die.]
“We went through this. It doesn’t make sense not to use your ultimate attack last minute. You’re just telling me to use a slingshot against this guy right here, instead of killing him with your ultimate attack.”

But he would not hear of it anymore. The ghost turned the other cheek. [No means no! I only plan to use that move as a final attack on the boss.]
Dalton threw a pointed figure in Marriage Ender’s direction. “And how do you think we will get to Ozul, if this man kills us first?”
Riot shrugged. [I mean, I’m the secret weapon.]
Dalton shook with the dismay of a butler who had just walked into a room he cleaned that was now dirty. He wanted to slap some sense into the ghost so hard, that it would have blown his head off. It was not going to happen, but Riot was an idiot.
So, Dalton went into another angle. He pointed at the Marriage Ender’s ghost. “Can you make her breasts bigger?”
Riot chuckled heartly at that. [As long as it’s a woman, any woman shall fall victim to my awesome powers!]
“Are you guys done talking?” Marriage Ender was inspecting his nails. “Or can I murder you now?”
“Do it Riot! Use your ability on his ghost!” Dalton demanded.
His arm shot up like a claw, pointing at the Marriage Ender’s ghost. Her breasts grew two sizes, threatening to rip her shirt.
Dalton expected Marriage Ender to squeal in delight like the other fools, he did not expect the man to throw up violently on the staircase.
“Woah!” Dalton danced out of the vomit’s path. It went through Riot, who proudly puffed up his chest.
[I don’t have to worry about mortal fears of being stained by upchuck!]
Marriage Ender glared at Dalton. He used the sleeve of his shirt to wipe his lips. “Why did you do this…abomination!”
“Oh,” Dalton rubbed his chin. “You like flat chests.”
“No!” The ghost user yelled. “This is my grandma!”
The grandma ghost was posing to accentuate her newfound femininity, her bosom jiggled like a pudding on a washing machine, courtesy of Riot who was still focusing his powers on the ghost.

“Oh!” Dalton’s response was a little flatter this time. He turned to Riot. “Yeah, keep on jiggling them. The more disgusting the better chance we have of beating him.”
[I shall make her jiggle with the force of Ten Thousand Nipple Lasers!]
“Stop it! Grandma, please stop it!” Marriage Ender clawed his eyes, as his grandma did the Zack-O pose.
“Okay, now go ahead and use the nipple laser.” Dalton instructed Riot.
[What?] Riot looked a little disappointed. [But…the bosom. It sways like a raindrop on a leaf.]
“Just do it!”
Riot sighed but did as he was ordered. The nipples started to glow, and Marriage Ender turned away, screaming for them to stop. The nipple laser blew a hole through his chest. The ghost user tumbled down the stairs, his body landed next to Dalton face up.
He looked, relieved.
“Wow, that was easy,” Dalton said. “I really thought it was going to be difficult.” The smile on his face faded. “Alright, let’s go ahead and burn the body before he comes back to life.”
[Dalton, is that not a road too far?] Riot asked.
“No, because that’s what’s going to happen. He is going to come back to life, and we’re going to have to fight a second form or something. It makes no sense for him to die this easily, unless he has a second form.”
Riot gave him a skeptical look. [He looks dead.]
Dalton looked back down at the body. There was the glass vacant stare, and blood forming a puddle underneath the body. That still did not deter him.
“No, we’re going to burn the body. Now, help me out here, and use your breast lasers to burn this body.”
[Look, he’s dead. There is no need to desecrate the body of a proud warrior!] Riot objected.
“No, no. Listen to me Riot.” He tried to put a hand on his shoulder, but it went through. He still talked anyways. “The past month of my life has been hell. I’ve helped get rid of bodies, I had to fight the Goblin King who wanted to be a magical girl, I’ve had to duel you in a card game death match, and now I’m fighting ghosts. So, when I say that this man is going to revive, he is going to revive.”
Riot blinked. [Hogwash.]
“Okay, then let’s ask the ghost.”
They both turned to the grandma, who was still waving her body in a way for her bosom to swish.
“Hey!”
She stopped and turned to them.
“Is your grandson going to revive and kill us?” Dalton asked.
[Yes. He has another ghost.] A creepy smile crept on the ghost’s lips. She pointed behind them. [He already has.]
Before he turned, Dalton closed his eyes and heaved a sigh. He turned to see Marriage Ender revived, glowing like a bug zapper. His hair stuck up, his eyes bled blue light, and a bore his teeth as he jabbed his finger at Dalton.
[“I have come back!”] Two voices overlapped with one another. Dalton could hear the Marriage Ender’s voice, but the second one was very familiar, he just could not put a finger on it. [“To crush you with a boulder!”]
And then it hit Dalton like a boulder. The CEO of CircleSoft possessed the body of the Marriage Ender ghost user.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
