Wait, how did the cat know to push the button? Meh, doesn’t matter, I suppose.
Anyways, every trace of the cat is gone. No cat hairs anywhere in the room.
Instead, the walls are covered in masks!

That’s… I can’t decide if it’s cool or creepy. It’s kinda both.
I mean, the detail and workmanship on each and every one of them is fascinating, truly the work of artists.
On the other hand, being stared at by eyeless faces from all sides is… unsettling.
You go over to one, a particularly cool one, and pull it off the wall. You put it over your face, tying it on with the ribbons.
The eyes start to glow.
Umm, that isn’t supposed to happen.
Are- are you ok?
Hello?
Crap, now all the masks’ eyes are glowing.
Uhhhhhhhh
Dude? H’llo?
Crapcrapcrapcrap
To: IT Desk 3 From: Testing Room Beta Subject: Masks with glowing eyes Heyyyyyy so there are masks in the room now, and the eyes are glowing. I don’t have anything on my sheet saying that the masks should glow. Should they be glowing?? To: Testing Room Beta From: IT Desk 3 Subject: Re: Masks with glowing eyes No, they absolutely should not be glowing. Is the dude ok? To: IT Desk 3 From: Testing Room Beta Subject: Re: Re: Masks with glowing eyes Dunno. Dude hasn’t moved in like a minute… To: Testing Room Beta From: IT Desk 3 Subject: Re: Re: Re: Masks with glowing eyes
o.O
That’s… concerning. Give it five minutes, if the dude hasn’t moved, be worried. This is above my pay grade, so you’ll have to call Chris.
To: IT Desk 3 From: Testing Room Beta Subject: Re: Re: Re: Re: Masks with glowing eyes Damn. Ok. Thanks.
Hey…
Hey dude? You ok in there? There’s a constant humming from the masks now. Is your brain being dissolved or something?
Duuuuude? Hiiiiiiii?
Suddenly the glowing stops. You pull the mask off.
Oh thank goodness! Are you ok? You’re ok, right? Right?
Riiiiiiiiight?
Dude? What- what did you see? Wanna tell me? You don’t?
Ok then.
I’ll just be over here, filing an error report. Don’t mind me…
You just go ahead and push the button…
DO YOU PUSH THE BUTTON? Yes No

Being the God of Hell is a bother [On temporary hiatus]
A group of people dies in a plane crash, but their souls are snatched away by an entity called the Highest One, that wants to make them the gods of a new world in order to guide and control its population. One of the passengers, Viktor, protests this, saying that the people of the new world should be entitled to find their own path in life without immortal beings ruling over them. The Highest One then ask Viktor if he really has that much faith in humanity, and after Viktor answer positively he made him into the God of Hell, tasked with redeeming the souls of the damned, as a way to test Viktor's faith in humanity... EDIT: I'm reworking this novel a bit, changing the first chapters from the "screenplay" form to standard prose. I should be done and start a shedule of one chapter per week at the end of february.
