You’re slowly coming back to full consciousness. That’s good. You have a massive headache. That's less good.

The culprit of that is laying next to you on the ground; the boomerang that was lost earlier.

Yep, the exact same boomerang. You opened that door and it came flying back through. Hit you pretty hard in the head.

I’d ask you what your name is, where you live, and how many fingers I’m holding up, buuuut I don’t know the answer to two of those and you deff wouldn’t know the answer to the third.

So I can’t check for a concussion, sorry.

Instead, I’ll ask what happened. You passed out, sure, but your eyes were kinda… glowing.

Any idea as to why that happened?

Did you see anything? Did you hear anything?

Is there anything you want to tell me? Anything at all?

I mean, if something happened, I’d really like to know about it. I’m here to keep you safe, after all. My job is literally to make sure you don’t die.

You climb to your feet, rubbing your head. You stop, picking up the boomerang. Looking it over thoughtfully, you press it against the wall.

You take a step back, about to throw it at the wall, and accidentally step on the button.
