“We're here. Get the fuck up.” Johan calls out as he hovers over Taylor. Jesse stood next to him, ready to go.

Taylor struggles to open his eyes. He had slept quite deeply and wasn't quite sure what was happening. Oh, that's right. I'm on the clock… Taylor thinks with a muddled consciousness.

“There's a car waiting for you outside. Also, Benson is somewhere a little North of the border if you need him. Just don't call me. I'll be leveling up soon.” Johan says before gesturing for Taylor to leave.

“Alright, I'm going.” Taylor mumbles before getting up. He grabs his luggage and walks to the stairs before waiting a moment and looking back.

Johan gives Jesse a deep hug and a quick kiss. “Don't do anything to make me worry.” He says gently.

Jesse lingers in Johan's embrace.

Taylor glanced at the scene and thought he heard some deep breaths and sniffles. Did something happen while I slept? Taylor wonders with a raised eyebrow. Seems serious… Taylor thinks before deciding to ignore it and walk down the stairs.

“I'm a big girl. I'll be okay…” A voice mumbles before drifting out of earshot.

Taylor waits at the bottom of the stairs for a few minutes before looking at his watch, annoyed. What the fuck is taking so long? He thinks with some anger.

A few more minutes later, Jesse walks down the stairs with red around her eyes.

“What the fuck happened?” Taylor asks, unsure of the situation.

“None of your fucking business.” Jesse says, not bothering to look at Taylor and walking past him.

Taylor looks at Jesse's back and flowing red hair before sighing. I'm going to stay out of this one… Taylor thinks before following.
