《Old Cultivation Record》Chapter 3 - Do Something, I Guess

Taylor was spending the day with his family. They wanted to try something normal, so they went for a picnic.
Sylvie, Jesse, and Taylor's two kids, both came along.
Taylor had went off to the side to have a cigarette, watching his family with a smile. Taylor was content. There was a smoldering in his soul, yearning for something more, but he was content, and he didn't want to disturb the balance of his life by doing something dumb. But I can't shake this feeling… He thinks as he looks away and his expression creases into a frown. Something dumb is in the air… He thinks with displeasure. For these sort of things, Taylor knew that the harder he tried to prevent it, the more precarious his situation would become, so he let out a long exhale. Fuck it. I’ll just let it hit me. He thinks before deciding to ignore it.
Suddenly Jesse looks up, some worry on her face. What was that feeling? She wonders to herself before looking to Taylor. Is it finally here? She asks herself before getting up and walking over to Taylor.
“Hey.” Jesse says as she approaches Taylor.
“Hey.” Taylor responds with a smile.
“How are you feeling?” She asks, probing the situation.
“Feeling?” He asks, a little confused. “I’m feeling okay. Why?” He asks, wondering what this was about.
“I think it’s here, Taylor.” She says, deciding to be honest.
Taylor smirks, still confused. “Here? What’s here?” He asks, a little amused.
“A tribulation is coming.” Jesse says, watching as Taylor’s eyes widen before continuing to explain. “I’ve been watching the karma of the world; the news, the disasters, and even the birds in the air. Something is building, Taylor. And like all emotions that build up over time, it needs release. The world needs to cum, Taylor.” She says with a serious expression.

Taylor looks at her blankly before bursting out into laughter. He continues to laugh, struggling to catch his breath before taking a few deep breaths. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I totally agree with you… And I feel it too… But goddamn that was hilarious.” He says, struggling to speak through his laughter.
“This is a serious matter, Taylor! When the world cums it isn’t as simple as some fluid releasing from your dick. Even a volcano eruption would be better! There’s blood to be shed, Taylor!” She exclaims, a little angry that Taylor was laughing.
Taylor’s laughter dwindles to a chuckle before responding. “You’re right. You’re right. I’m sorry. But yeah, we should probably do something, I guess.” He says, a smile still lingering on his face. “Do you have any suggestions?” He asks, curious if there was even anything to do in this sort of situation.
“We have to call Johan.” She confirms. “And since your dad will probably be around, he should probably be invited.” She says after thinking the matter over.
“Okay, okay. Let’s do that.” Taylor says with a smile. God , I love Jesse. She’s too effin’ funny. He thinks as he exhales the last of his laughter.
