Episode 26 - The Royal Palace 5 ‘ The Mother of Xenperia' “Alright alright, Where are the crazed Twins who are now regarded as Gods in the eyes of the common folks?” Duke Cylde Akler asked as he looked around not seeing any sight of the twins. “Oh yes yes! The 2 esteemed guests that had gathered us today and bestowed us a day off” Duke Rodriguez chipped in, not wanting to listen or see Duke Veria and Duchess Veria romance any longer. “Haha, before that my friends, let's head on over to the Imperial Garden. My Empress has been very busy preparing for the gathering since daybreak” The Emperor motioned for the servants to head on out as he led the group over to Garden. This was not the garden that had the man-made mountain, but a private garden only accessible to the Empress, the Emperor, the Crown Prince, and the Princess. With the exception of the Great 5 Nobles, of course. No other individual was allowed in. The 5 Dukes went on over first, while Moniqua Louis and Ramon went to get the twins who were in a deep slumber since the carriage ride to the Royal Palace. “The twins are still asleep Mother” Ramon watched the twins steady breaths as he took Euria from her nanny before Louis could take her. “It’s alright, They will soon be awake.” Moniqua held Eugeneia in her arms, and soon the 2 went to the grand garden which was known to the people as the Valley of Voeia. Along the way, if they came across a servant of the Imperial palace, the servant will unconditionally make way for Moniqua and Ramon, respecting the high status held to them. Bowing and not continuing to walk until no longer hearing the 2 footsteps. ----- “You have arrived Moniqua!” The Empress skipped formality and ran to her dear friend to give her a huge hug. It has been over 6 months since the 2 last met, with Moniqua not going out due to her pregnancy and after giving birth. Naturally, The Empress was not able to leave the Palace to visit her as that would spark jealousy and shifting in noble powers. Lilithesia De Xen Periera is the Empress and mother of the country. Contrary to people’s expectations, she is very small in size, looking very innocent and delicate. The innocence the Empress gave off was familiar to the innocence Euria gave off. But unfortunately, this type of female was not normally popular in this day and age, as men prefer bustier types and women with mature charms. “Lily” Moniqua can’t help but laugh and she hugged the Empress back, smelling the familiar scent she always gave off. Breaking the hug, the Empress hurriedly dragged Moniqua over to the group but before she could break out in a run a stern voice shouted out. “Lilithesia, do not run” His majesty stared at the figure that had abruptly stopped in her steps and looked over to him like she did nothing wrong before slowly walking to them again. “Sigh…” (Duke Clyde Akler) “Lilith should eternally be banned from running” Rodiguer shook his head as he recalled his memory. In his memory, there was not a single passing day where Lilith would trip or fall. “She still falls when she walks.” Duke Clyde Akler chipped in from the side. “She never learns” Duke Irvin Graeme laughed. Because the servants are not allowed to enter this garden and are no longer around, the 9 friends ceased all formalities. “Oh my, how small and adorable!” Now noticing that Moniqua had carried a baby, Lily happily cheered! When she heard that Moniqua had given birth to twins she was beyond ecstatic, asking the Emperor if they could visit the Veria Estate. Unfortunately, she was stopped, and had to wait 3 long months before she could see her dear friend again and her newborn babies. Lilithesia quickly took hold of Eugeneia and brought Eugeneia closer upon her to look. Although there were no distinguishing features, her eyelashes were especially long and prominent along with the 3 moles underneath her right eyes. Without a doubt, she will grow up and become very beautiful. Glancing over at Ramon standing behind Moniqua with another baby she became even more cheerful. “Ramon dear, is your sister not heavy?” Shocked by the sudden attention he got, he nervously answered her. “Ble.. Blessing to her Imperial Highness. Answering to your question, Not at all her majesty” “Now, you don’t have to be so formal when there’s no one looking. Call me Aunty like you normally do” Lily laughed at the silly little boy who would normally call her Aunty. Maybe now that he has grown a little, he realized that calling her Aunty was not proper and anyone else who calls her informally will be executed without trial. “That…” Ramon looked at his mother wondering what he should do but all he got was a nod from Moniqua, telling him it was alright to do so. “Au.. Aunt” “Greetings and blessing to her Imperial Highness Aunt” Louis respectfully bowed towards the Empress. He could not address her formally as that would not give the Empress any face nor did he want to address the empress informally as she was the Queen, therefore creating the middle line between formal and informal. “Louis dear! You look more and more like your father when he was younger!! Even your personality is as stiff as his before he and Moniqua got together! Without a doubt, will you grow up to be as stunning as your father!.” The Empress laughed as she inspected Louis up and down. Although these words might not mean much, if outsiders were to hear what she had just said, it would seem like the end of the world to them. In this day and age, females can not brazenly compliment men, especially when they, themselves were married. It could be seen as an affair. Servants weren’t allowed in here therefore the Empress did not filter her words. What the Empress didn’t know was that the Emperor had already planned out her domestic discipline for tonight after hearing her words. “.....” Louis remained silent, treating what she said as never been said. “Don’t call me Aunt Louis and Ramon, call me big sister!” Duchess Adele Graeme chipped in laughing at the Empress mistake! Why would she want to be called Aunt when she was still young and fresh! “Oh...”Lily pouted. Adele Graeme loved teasing and bullying her since she was young. But, Big sister was much better than being called Aunt. “Then me too!” Lily quickly added not wanting to be called Aunt anymore. “Haha” Moniqua laughed at her 2 friends. It has been 6 long months since they have all gathered but Lilithesia and Adele are the same as ever. This made Moniqua sigh in relief, nothing changing was good...

Although, it is implied from the first few chapters, so it might not be that big of a deal? ----- I'm a novice at writing and the story might have plotholes due to lack of careful planning, but I hope you readers will enjoy the journey as I do enjoy writing this.
