《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Not Forgotten - Part 023

“If you knew he would attempt revenge why did you teach him magic?” I asked.
“He was a good child and a prodigy when it came to healing. He even found ways to regrow limbs using magic which as you know has never been accomplished.” Dolfly said.
“So you thought you might be able to get him to forget about his grudge through work and study?” Elysif asked.
“Yes, but I never thought he would go beyond that. As you probably know a werewolf must consume a human heart in order to continue their existence in human society. For years the Agency has given hearts of the dead to werewolves so that they remain peaceful and we have aided in that. We had a heart ready for him but he disappeared before then and next thing we knew he had killed someone as a calling card for Scott. I am glad that Scott left you two in charge of finding him though.”
“Do you have a way we can track him?” I asked.
“Do you plan on killing him?”
“No, we simply wish to bring him in. since he killed someone we can’t ignore it.” Elysif replied.
“I understand. There are a few of his items here that you may use to track him if you have a search device.”
“Thank you Dolfly.”
“Don’t thank me. I am at fault.’’
“Now I have a question that is completely unrelated.” I asked.
“I thought all witches were women so why are you a man?” I asked. Elysif stepped on my foot in response.
“Is he an idiot?”
“No, he just doesn’t know anything about supernatural society.”
“Ah, an outsider. Now I see, Witches are not defined by gender as most stories would have you believe. Witches simply study and practice medicine and their magical aspects as well as human magics.”

“Ah, So it’s more like a field of study rather than a name for a magic user of a certain gender.”
“Precisely, now I would have thought that Elysif would have told you this already.”
“We never really discussed it. I know she came from a coven of all women so I just thought that was the norm.”
“It is more common for covens to be made entirely of woman since woman have a stronger connection to magic than men but that is not the case for everyone.”
“Alright, well thank you.”
“You’re welcome. If you’ll wait a moment I can retrieve one of his items.” Dolfly said before walking off.
“He is kind like you said.”
“Well, let’s just hope that no one else comes by.” Elysif said right before three witches walked towards us.
“Well, if it isn’t the traitor. You must be stupid thinking you can waltz in here and ask for help.” the tallest female witch said. She was wearing a black robe and carried a satchel.
“You know that if I hadn’t betrayed my coven then a lot of innocent people would have died.” Elysif responded.
“You also know that we don’t care. Covens are a sacred family bound by trust. If you can’t even stick with your coven through everything then there is no need for you to even be a witch.” the other female witch said. She was also wearing the same robe but her hair was covered like a nuns.
“All of you are heartless.” Elysif replied again.
“We may be heartless but at least we are trustworthy. On top of that we are actually skilled at magic. You may be able to create potions but your coven was supposed to be the greatest blood masters of all time and you can barely keep it pumping through your body.” the male witch said. He was wearing a brown robe that was covered in dirt.

I could see Elysif reaching into her bag as he said this. She had a small vial of red liquid that she was starting to pull out. The signs of rage on her face was something I had never seen before from her. It was almost like she was ready to kill them. Not knowing what she was planning I stepped in front of her and my knife launched out of its sheath.
The blade spun around them at a speed that I couldn’t even keep track of. They seemed a little surprised but weren’t exactly scared so I moved the blade closer to them and cut some of their robes. I wasn’t happy about doing it and it seemed a little erotic to be removing peices of their clothing so instead of cutting the robes more I stopped the blade instantly in front of the mans face. The blade nicked his forehead and a small stream of blood trickled down.
He stood there for a moment unable to even move. He was just too scared. “So you want to have you boy toy scare us so we’ll leave you alone you bitch.” one of the girls said to Elysif. I wanted to punch her but before I could the blood that had trickled down from the man's forehead sprung to life and shot at the girl. It had hardened into something similar to a needle before stopping in front of the girl's eye. Looking behind me I could see Elysif fuming with rage. I would not want to ever piss her off like that.
“Don’t you ever talk to me again.” Elysif said in a low and threatening voice before turning the needle like blood back into a liquid. I also sheathed my blade to show I was done. The three witches all nodded and walked away as fast as they could.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
