Scott and Silva both walked into the Wiccan College. They didn't bother knocking as usual and wandered around until they found Dolfly in one of the classrooms. He was in the middle of explaining chemical stabilizers and how they could prevent a potion from blowing up in their face. Elysif was next to him, holding several vials containing said stabilizers.

They waited until he finished his explanation and walked out of the classroom. Elysif was still inside handing out the stabilizers to the students. A few of them were being stuck up about Elysif being there but most didn't mind.

"What can I do for you?" Dolfly asked them as he stepped out.

"We just wanted to take Elysif for lunch. How has she been?" Silva replied.

"I see, she has been wonderful. She only broke a few potions that use cheap herbs so I think she has paid them off. I assume you wanted to do something similar to a family outing so please take her."

"Thank you. I hope everything goes well."

"You're welcome."

Elysif walked out of the classroom and gave Scott and Silva a look of concern. "Am I in trouble or something?" She asked.

"No, we wanted to take you on a picnic."

"I think I still have a few things I need to do for Dolfly."

"Not at all. I think you're fine for the day." Dolfly said to her.

"Well okay, where are we going?"

"We thought the gardens would be good." Scott said.

"Alright."

The trio left the College and headed towards the nearest gardens. Trees covered in white buds that twisted their branches in awkward ways lined the edges of the gardens. Busch's were being trimmed throughout to keep them in a near perfect rectangular shape. There was a small pond in the center which was adorned with hundreds of purple and white flowers. While all of this surrounded the area there was a wide field stretching several meters. Scott laid out a blanket in the field and started pulling out sandwiches wrapped in paper.

“So what’s the occasion?” Elysif asked, still a little confused as to why they were having a picnic out of the blue.

“No occasion. We just couldn’t find anything on that lead from yesterday so we are taking the rest of the day off.” Silva replied.

“Sounds like you two are procrastinating again.”

“Since when have we ever procrastinated while on the job?” Scott asked, a little taken back by her remark.

“At least every other tuesday. Remember the Centaur incident, or maybe the Sirens, perhaps even that Dryad?” Elysif replied.

“First of all that Centaur was loaded on Opium and you know I have a fear of horses. The fact that I could get near it was a miracle. During the Siren incident Silva was sick and I couldn’t get near it without being tempted by it’s song.”

“Wasn’t that the day you got arrested for chucking explosives at it from the pier in hopes of scaring it away?” Silva asked.

“Well, yes. Speaking of that, I was sleeping on those cold prisoner beds for two nights. What ever happened to you coming and helping me out?”

“I was sick, remember. I slept the whole time you were in jail.”

“Then what about Elysif?”

“She was working With Dolfly and thought you were working late to cover my workload.”

“Oh, right.”

“Anyways, what about the Dryad?” Elysif asked.

“We will not discuss what happened with the Dryads. They can be left alone until someone else wants to deal with them.” Scott replied with a stern voice. SIlva even seemed to shudder at the thought of whatever had happened.

“That bad huh?”

“Eat your sandwich and forget it ever happened. Just forget Dryads even exist. If you want to know you can ask Dolfly about them and maybe he can explain it in a way that is appropriate for children.” Silva said with an even more stern voice than Scott’s.

The three ate for a good while and talked about similar things. Continually refusing to discuss anything involving the Dryads. After they ate they had only had a little left over but each of them felt like they gorged themselves. Thus a nap was in order for all of them. Their nap lasted several hours on that blanket in the field. It almost seemed too carefree of them but it was the least they deserved.
