《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Witch Trials - Part 016

Within a few hours we headed back to Mama Louise’s. Many of the agents who were there were rather annoyed with our late arrival. However, none of them could complain since Mordred slept the latest out of all of us. Mama Louise however, wasn’t having it.
“What took you five so long?” she asked in the sweet innocent voice of a grandmother as she sat on her couch drinking some black tea.
“We overslept.” Mordred stated.
“You may think of oversleeping as an innocent mistake but I see nothing but ignorance!” she yelled. It was obvious that she had hit her limit with how much shit she could take.
“I am not ignorant to the fact that our enemy is leagues stronger than most of those here. What I don’t think you understand is that we need our strength for this battle and I for one do not believe that Medea will make a move without knowing all of the variables. She just isn’t that impatient.” Mordred responded in a harsh tone.
“So what you’re saying is that Medea will wait?” Mama Louise asked inquisitively.
“yes.”
“If you are so certain then I will oblige you. However, I ask that you attempt Iscarat’s plan without any questions.”
“I was going to attempt it anyways. That being said, I would like a backup plan.” Mordred said.
“We already came up with an idea for that.” One of the agents said as he walked up to Mordred.
“Go on Collins.” Mordred replied.
“We believe that if we set up another barrier outside of Sir Iscarat’s, then that may give us more time to capture her. This barrier will be created by those from the College. Mama Louise has already contacted them about this and they have agreed.” agent Collins said.

“A good plan. This isn’t exactly what I was hoping for but it’s better than nothing.” Mordred said with a sigh.
“When can we head out?” Scott asked.
“As soon as Rebeccah is willing to take us. We believe she will go if Elysif asks her to.” Mama Louise said before looking at Elysif. She was holding her left arm with her right hand in uncertainty.
“...”
“Did you not say that you wanted to take responsibility? This is how you do that.” Mama Louise stated firmly.
“I know but I would like to go with you to capture her.” Elysif replied timidly. It looked like a child asking their mother if they could do something they knew they wouldn’t approve of.
“No. You are too important to be brought anywhere near your mother. We will have you stay here while we deal with this.” Mama louise said.
“But I-” Elysif began to say before being cut off.
“No buts. You will talk to your sister and see if she can lead us to your mother. After we have your mother in our custody then you may see her.”
“Yes ma’am.”
Without saying anything else Elysif walked to the room Rebeccah was staying in and entered inside. One of the succubi that worked under Mama Louise was playing dolls with her inside. As soon as she noticed Elysif walk in she excused herself and left. Rebeccah looked at Elysif with the oblivious eyes of a child. The X on her forehead blatantly exposed in a way that made Elysif feel guilty. She had no idea what was going on nor did Elysif want her to know. Despite the fact that she was a puppet for her mother she couldn’t help but feel sympathy towards her. Perhaps it was a natural feeling bound by their shared blood relations? She didn’t know.

“Rebeccah.”
“Yes?”
“Will you go to Mama and tell her something for me?”
