“You knew she was alive?” I asked as she started to pace in the hallway below the stairs.
“Not exactly. I had my doubts about her death but that was all.”
“I feel like it should come as more of a shock to hear that.”
“Oh, I am shocked. Mainly, I am trying to wrap my head around it and how you of all people know she is alive.”
“I went to her grave and she punched me after telling me who she was.”
“That isn’t enough to prove that she is alive. I’m guessing you met her again and that’s how you received that information.”
“Yes, she took me to a bar where she was recognized by the bar owner. He even gave her a sword.”
“That does make it more believable.”
“Why does it matter to you if she is still alive or not?”
“Because… when she was thirteen, I sent her on a mission to search for possible traitors in our midsts. She found several and assassinated them at my behest. However, after less than a year of doing this she came back to me terrified. She claimed she had met Micheal and he told her many things about the Agency. She was so shaken and didn’t feel safe in Warwick anymore so I sent her to London. She started acting differently after that.”
“So you assumed she was working for the Masked Man?”
“I had my thoughts. Then she died and I hated myself for such thoughts. A while later I started receiving letters of warning from an unknown person. They warned of many things and all of them have come to pass except a few which lie in the future.”
“You thought they may be coming from Silva?”

“Yes, and the Masked Man. before sending her away she would always speak of a traitor in our midsts but refused to say anymore. Then would give me a prediction of the future as if she had seen it herself.”
“Do you know how she made these predictions?”
“She would say that Micheal told her.”
“Well, that’s not much different from what she told me.” I said crouching against the cracked wall.
“What did she tell you?”
“That no one can know she lives just yet. There is a time when she can reveal herself but it is not now. She also gave me the location of Medea and told me that although Micheal was evil, he was the lesser of two. That the Agency was way worse than even you know about.”
“That does concern me.”
“You aren’t going to deny it?”
“I don’t know if I can yet. What Medea told me has left me wondering about some things.”
“I understand.”
“For now, I guess we should keep her being alive a secret. We wouldn’t want anyone else having their mind clouded while we fight Medea.” she said as she began heading up the stairs.
“Of course, Head Concil.” I replied, following her up the stairs.
Upstairs Scot was pouring over a few maps and Compton was cooking a small meal. They both looked beat and tired but were pushing through it. Both of them looked at me with concern but as soon as they saw that I was unharmed they acted like nothing happened. Iscarat was on the couch fast asleep.
“What are you looking at?” I asked Scott.
“The underground sewer system and tunnels in London. I was hoping that maybe they would help us get the jump on Medea.” he said gesturing at the maps.
“That could work in our favor.” Mordred said, looking over the maps herself.

Margrave's Divinity (Rewrite)
Power always comes with a price. Seventeen years ago, obsidian towers thousands of feet tall erupted from the earth near the world’s population centers. Strange magic accompanied their appearance—powerful and inexplicable abilities granted to lucky humans, called Embers for the burning in their eyes. Lyle isn’t lucky, though. When the recently-unemployed college dropout finally manages to get his hands on a Cinder, he is utterly disappointed to find that he will never be an Ember like his father or brother. Before he even has time to process his failure, a strange Ember shoves him through a tear in reality and into the cave of a dragon, where the titanic beast claims to be an ancient goddess of myth and legend. She has a gift for him, but it comes with a warning. War is coming. --- Posting Thursdays and Sundays at 8am Central. Confused about the rewrite? See my letter to previous readers here.

The King of Desires
Escana is a world where war is but another round of a game, the Reign of Chaos, a game that the Gods have been playing for eons. On Escana, war is merely a form of entertainment for the Demon Lords to sate their hunger for destruction and their thirst for power. Escana is a place where peace is but an illusion, a calm before a storm, and the short breaks between the games. All mortals, human, dwarves, elves and the other races living on Escana, they are consigned to live inside that living hell from the moment of their birth. It should be just another unspectacular round of The Reign of Chaos. It should be just another dulled war among the great many that have been fought before this. It should be just another day and another year. And yet, in this newest round, appeared a prince who is prophesized to bring about an end to everything. Fearless is his name, a man of many identities. A jokester. A charlatan. A lover. An Ender. He is a self-proclaimed the-world-biggest-fool among the most foolish. He is the Prince among princes.

The Order of Sekhmet
Meet Rowan who may or may not be really enthusiastic about telling you how his life is with the goddess of war. It is naturally far from being peaceful, but the blade-wielding, fourth-wall-breaking protagonist certainly wouldn't have it any other way. Egyptian deities? Check. Sword fights? Check. Demonic arts? Check. Burning passion? Check. After all, blood is a good moisturizer. Please note that I have flagged my content. There is and will be content that may trigger you, particularly if you've been through toxic relationships. While I do my best not to paint these moments in the best light, they exist and are crucial parts of my story. Things are kicked up a notch beginning with chapters named 'The Old World'. Everything before is (nearly) vanilla. Update schedule is every Thursday/Friday, varying times!

HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.

Ephemeral Cycle
Mature +18[?]------Hiatus notice, I'll be rewriting this story heavily over the coming weeks. It isn't going where I wanted it to, bare with me for awhile. Ideally, a months time, but time will tell.------Andrew Marks, among over a million, 'players,' is forcibly recruited into a game where the reality and fiction interlace. Where the slightest error will spell death. For yourself, for your new found allies, or the world. 'Choices have consequences,' is a lesson the Corporation wishes to remind people. In this new world where many fall each and every day, a man simply tries to avoid it all, yet the world isn't so kind as to let him off so easily.--------Chapters do tend to be on the longer side, well, in comparison to other fictions I've read on this site. Typically anywhere from 2500-4500 words depending on my mood at the time.In addition chapter releases are largely dependent on my mood so it should have at least two chapter released a week, however, I'll be busy for the next bit so it will be subject to change. --------Anyways, please bare in mind this is the first creative writing piece I have created with the exception of a novel I started writing just prior to this one. I'd appreciate any help or guidance you may give me to better my writing. Be it characters, background or setting, I'm quite sure there are a few loopholes. This is intended for a mature audience, viewers discretion is advised. I digress, enjoy, rate, comment, and let me know how it's treating you so far! I'll take any help I can get!
