Elysif awoke to me standing in front of her in the windowless room. She could see her mother staring at a piece of paper in disbelief at the table in the other room. I could tell that she was confused as to why I was here and even more so as to why her mother wasn’t even bothered by me standing around freely.

“Lou?” she said as she raised her head groggily.

“Elysif, you’re awake finally.” I said before sitting down in the chair across from her.

“What are you doing here?” she asked.

“Mordred convinced your mother to spare London and use a bunch of prisoners that the Agency has kept as tributes for the ritual instead. I became a hostage as a sign of good faith.” I explained.

“I see, then I assume that she has trapped you in this room as well.”

“What? No. I can walk around freely. She’s a bit too distraught by a letter she received to care about what I do at the moment.”

“Then why don’t you just kill her and be done with it?” she whispered.

“I am also a bit distraught by what the letter said as it gave me instructions to not kill her.”

“Why would you listen to what a letter said? She asked genuinely confused by what I had just said.

“Because…”

“Because I asked him to.” Silva interrupted as she walked in the room and leaned against the doorway.

“S-silva!” Elysif stammered out, surprised by the sight of her thought to be dead friend. She practically jumped from her chair as she said it.

“It’s been a while, Elysif. How have you been?” Silva said with a grimace smile.

“How are you alive? Scott watched you get torn apart by werewolves. He watched you die. How?” she asked as tears started to well in her eyes.

“A fake. I had to fake my death.” Silva said.

“But why?”

“I had to do something important. The Agency isn’t what you think it is.”

“You could have told us! We could have helped you!” Elysif said with tears now streaming down her face.

“I…”

“You what?”

“I’m sorry… I had to do this alone for the time being, you wouldn’t understand.”

“What would I not understand?”

“I can’t tell you yet.”

“Why not?”

“Because I can’t. This is why I don’t want to see Scott. I have to talk to Elysif but I know Scott would be even worse to talk to about this.” She said, looking at me and with what seemed to be a tear welling up in her own eyes. Looking behind her I could see that Medea was now watching us intently.

“I get you are pissed off at her but we have other stuff to worry about.” I said to Elysif.

“Shut up! I just found out my friend who I thought was dead faked her death so I think I’m entitled to chewing her out.” Elysif hissed at me. I raised my hands in response and took a step back.

“Thanks a lot, you dick!” Silva said while giving me a death glare. Just as she said this Elysif had charged at her and punched her as hard as she could in the face. She was sent flying through the doorway which surprised Medea a little.

“Jesus Christ, Elysif!” I yelled.

“I guess I deserved that.” Silva said with a slight chuckle. She slowly sat back up and began rubbing her cheek

“Okay, I’m fine now.” Elysif said before walking back over to her chair and sitting down.
