《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Witch Trials - Part 038

Outside the room Medea and I sat around the dining table for them to finish. Being told I wasn’t supposed to hear any of what they were talking about made me all the more curious. Then the door opened, but it was the front door. Rebeccah and the weird Medea clone both walked inside. Rebeccah froze at the sight of me then ran and hid behind Medea. It was almost cute.
“What’s he doing here?” Rebeccah asked Medea. I guess she didn’t seem to like me after that incident where I almost shot her.
“We’re working with him for a little bit.” Medea said.
“Okay… Is big sister awake?” Rebeccah asked with a glimmer in her eyes.
“She is but she’s talking with someone so you need to wait.” Medea replied. It almost sounded like she was being a good mother. Wasn’t expecting that from her. Just as we were getting comfortable we heard the sound of another door opening up. I turned my head to see Silva walk through the doorway.
“Release her from the seal that’s trapping her in this room, please?” Silva asked Medea.
“Are you sure she isn’t just going to run away?” Medea asked with a hint of concern.
“After hearing what I had to say she decided to help us. She will not run away.” Silva replied.
“Alright then.” Medea said with a snap of her finger. Suddenly Elysif grasped her forehead in pain.
“Are you alright?” I asked.
“Ya, just a sudden headache.” Elysif said before walking into the dining room with us. She gave me a strange look as she did.
“Apologies, the seal has a slight sting when it’s released.” Medea said with a small chuckle.
“Thanks.” Elysif replied with an annoyed glare. As she did Rebeccah ran up and hugged Elysif’s leg.

“Can you play with me?” Rebeccah asked with an adorable smile.
“O-of course.” Elysif replied with a somewhat forced smile.
“Look at you, being a good big sister.” I said jokingly.
“Shut up!” she said with a slightly embarrassed tone before being led away to play by Rebeccah.

Five days passed by rather quickly. Especially with all of the traveling we had to do. We had traveled to Aylesbury two days before so that Medea could set up the fake ritual. Silva ended up leaving shortly after Elysif decided to help her with the plan as there was no need for her to be there any longer.
Medea was quite busy with preparing the ritual. So much so that she ended up getting me and Elysif to help her set it up. Not so surprisingly she ended up preparing it in a graveyard behind a church of all places. It was creepy and somewhat cliche for a witch. The thought of it actually happening made me chuckle a bit.
When it was time for Mordred to arrive Medea had Rebeccah go fetch them from the train station. Elysif and I on the other hand had to get to our positions. Sadly, that meant that I was about to be in a lot of pain. Medea ended up giving me back my knife so that I could be properly prepared to play my part.
“Medea, we came as promised.” Mordred said as she approached us. Behind her were Collin, Ida, John, Aaron, Iscarat, and Compton each pulling a cart full of magic prisons.
“Good. I was starting to wonder if I needed to make an example of my hostage.” Medea said as she gestured at me. I was tied up and sitting with my legs crossed beside her.

“What do we need to do?” Mordred asked.
“Release all of the prisoners inside of the graveyard. I have it warded so that only those who I allow can enter or leave.” medea said.
“I understand.” Mordred said. All of the agents along with Iscarat began releasing creatures and humans alike into the graveyard. Some attempted to turn around and attack Mordred or the other agents only to be launched back by an invisible force. Soon all of the prisons were emptied and many of the prisoners were unable to move as it was too cramped.
As all of this was going on I started cutting away at the rope holding me. I had wished that they hadn’t actually tied me up. However, the girls were insistent that they would notice if I wasn’t actually tied up. Once I was almost done cutting the rope Elysif, Rebeccah, and Medea were getting into place.
