《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Witch Trials - Part 045

I jumped to the side to avoid the blades coming from below me. Iscarat, Elysif, and Compton did the same. Mordred backed away from the table to avoid the blade as they came at her. Silva for some reason wasn’t bothered by it. Instead she was hoping between the blades shooting up to get closer to Merlin.
Dodging backwards as the blades shot up around her Mordred shouted at Merlin to stop but it was no use. Blades continued to shoot out of the ground while many of the blades began retracting back from where they came. Compton had no trouble avoiding them with some insane acrobatic moves and neither did Iscarat since he kept using dimensional magic to cut the blades before they could even get close to him.
It was then that I realized that this was the same guy who was helping Jack the Ripper. The power was exactly the same.how did he have two powers though? I thought someone could only have one Elder Ones power at a time. It just didn’t make sense. He can summon warriors to fight for him and he can summon what seems like an infinite amount of blades. Just what is he?
“Merlin, stop this!” Mordred yelled as she deflected a blade with her sword.
“Not going to happen! You see, if you can’t be my puppet anymore then I guess I’ll have to kill you all and use your death to push my agenda.” Merlin said while gritting his teeth.
More blades shot up from the ground which backed me and Elysif into the curved wall. Suddenly blades shot out of the walls which nearly pierced Elysif if she hadn’t hardened some blood over her chest, back, and gut. Several more blades shot out of the ground near me and Elysif which disappeared leaving a small stub of a blade sticking out of the floor. Looking over Iscarat and Compton began walking over the stubs towards us.

“Don’t worry, nothing can hurt us if it’s in another dimension.” Iscarat said. It would have sounded a lot cooler if his voice didn’t sound like a pubescent child fused with an old man.
“Iscarat, take this!” Silva yelled as she threw a pendant at us.
“What do you want me to do with this?” Iscarat asked as he caught it.
“All of you, except Lou, need to get inside it. It’s like a magic prison but you can see and hear everything that’s going on outside of it.” Silva yelled as she jumped towards Merlin. A wall of blades shot up to protect him and also caught Silva’s sword in between a few of them. Rather than trying to remove her sword Silva jumped back to avoid a small onslaught of blades which shot up around where her sword got stuck.
“Mordred, come here!” Compton shouted as she was dodging a flurry of blades shooting around her. Just as she was dodging them they disappeared from Iscarat’s magic leaving only the stubs of metal in the ground. Compton and Elysif both disappeared inside of the pendant while Iscarat kept us from getting stabbed.
“Get inside, Iscarat!” Mordred barked.
“Of course.” he said before getting sucked into the pendant himself. Right as Mordred touched the pendant a blade shot up at an angle from behind her and pierced her back just above her hips. She let out a gasp as the giant blade cut into her and she fell down.
“Mordred!” I yelled as she fully disappeared inside the pendant. The only thing left behind was the blood that had dripped on the floor and was left on the tip of the blade. I clutched the pendant and looked at Silva who was still dodging Merlin's blades.

“Go you idiot!” Silva yelled at me just as a blade shot out of the floor at me. There was no way to dodge it and it was coming directly at my face. I guess this was it. The day I died. There was just no way around it. I failed. Wait, what was happening? The blade stopped directly in front of my face and the world seemed distant almost. Silva was currently in midair as she dodged a blade and Merlin was looking desperate to kill her. There were also these glimmers of light in the air. Was this what happens when you die?
“Not doing so well, are you?” I heard Tim say. Looking around I realized that the child-like entity was standing on top of the blade that was directly in front of my face.
“What are you doing here?” I asked.
“I figure that you weren’t ready to die yet and I wasn’t ready to lose my source of entertainment so quickly so I thought I would make you an offer.” Tim said.
“What kind of offer?” I asked.
“I send you to the past and you get to live. That’s it.”
“Can I bring the pendant with my friends in it?”
“I don’t see why not.”
“Then I accept your offer.” I replied. Tim gave me an almost cursed smile before my body began to disappear. Time started again to which both Merlin and Silva realized I had disappeared.
