As I had disappeared Silva jumped backwards repeatedly to avoid the blades shooting at her from the floor. She touched against the wall and attempted to jump to the side before blades shot out from either side and from above. Blades blocked her from the front as well making it impossible for her to escape. The blades in front of her slowly shifted and parts of them returned to the floor creating a makeshift cell. Merlin slowly walked towards her menacingly.
“What, are you too afraid to kill me now? Or do you just want to torture me for screwing up your plan?” Silva asked mockingly.
“Although I am a little annoyed that you messed up my plans I can easily make changes as needed. I have been for over fifteen hundred years now. However, I believe that you will be much more valuable to me alive.” Merlin said with a wicked smile.
“Do you really believe that I would help you?”
“I don’t need you to. You see, I know for a fact that the Masked man will return, and at full strength I might add. He will also come with the others and I don’t have the manpower to fight them and complete my work so I need your husband to do it for me.” he said as more blades slowly protruded from the walls, pushing Silva forward. Once she had her arms hanging out of the cell bars he touched the floor and pulled from it a pair of metal cuffs. He placed them on each of her wrists despite her fighting against him and they tightened to match her wrist size.
“Scott wouldn’t work for you!” she spat angrily.
“And why exactly would he help you? You’ve only lied to him for the past five years and possibly even longer. Maybe his whole time with you has been a lie. He’s obviously the emotional type so I believe he would feel betrayed, don’t you?” he said in a mockingly menacing tone.

“Fuck you!” she replied before spitting in retaliation.
“That foul mouth of yours is unbecoming of a woman.” he said as he grabbed the handcuffs and pulled her closer to the bars before snapping his fingers.
Every blade in the room disappeared back into the floor and the hallways doors disappeared as well. As soon as people began entering the room Merlin called for all personnel to convene. As soon as it was said people began filling the room. Among those who appeared was Director Langston who was shocked to see his daughter being held in cuffs by Merlin for all to see. He tried to get closer to see what was going on.
“What is the meaning of this? Director Langston asked Merlin with both a furious and disturbed tone.
“Your daughter is a traitor! She had faked her death and worked with the greatest enemy of the Agency to kidnap Mordred.” Merlin replied.
“Lies! Merlin is deceiving all of you!” Silva shouted.
“I’m sorry, Silva. It is obvious that you faked your death as you are still very much alive. I cannot trust that you are not in league with the Masked Man.” Director Langston said in the most Monotone voice she had ever heard him speak in. Silva stared at him in shock.
“Director, I expect that you will put her in a detainment cell until we can discuss this matter with the other Directors?” Merlin asked.
“Yes, sir.” he replied as he grabbed the handcuffs and began pulling Silva away. He neither looked at her nor even spoke to her as he did. It wasn’t until he had put her in a small room with only a bed in it that he spoke.
“Why?” was all he said as a single tear welled up in his eye.

“... I was told the truth. Merlin is an evil man and the Agency is just his tool.” she said.
“I know... I have helped him do unspeakable things but I assure you that it will be worth it. The whole entire european continent will be ours. The langstons have been helping him keep his secret since the knight of the round table disbanded.” He said.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“You were far too much like Mordred. I was worried that you would betray us to her and I was right.”
“...”
“Now, if you’ll excuse me. I need to discuss what comes next with Merlin and the other Directors.” He said as he shut the door and slammed the three deadbolts closed.
As he walked away Silva kicked the wall out of frustration. The sound of metal clanking echoed through the room making her ears hurt as a result so she sat down on the bed. Sinking back against the bed she knew this was going to happen and yet it still surprised her. The emotions she felt from her own father telling her how he was involved hurt worse than she imagined. She had known for years and yet she couldn’t believe it until she had heard it from his own mouth.

Even with the pain of his broken arm bothering him, he ran at full speed towards the train station.

Stairway to Heaven
Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings, far too weak to survive amid the other extraterrestrials that lie dormant across the galaxies. Instead of physical altercations, they would rather engage in verbal abuse, breaking an individual's psyche as a hobby. They excel at deception and manipulation, far too interested in bringing their brothers and sisters down and reaching for the top of their self-made hierarchies. Beyond their questionable nature and moral compasses, they long to find meaning in their lives and put names to the feelings that drive each passing moment. They are insatiable—far too greedy for more knowledge and a supposed understanding of their lives. It's pitiable, really, the way they struggle to find themselves while ravaging their kind through petty wars and conflicts built off of misunderstanding. Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings. They created words and languages to fill the holes that lived inside their souls, desperate for ways to find meaning in their incredibly short lifespans. They'll waste their entire lives trying to find their so-called passions and reasons for living, acting as if they truly rule the way their lives go, supposed "controllers of their own destiny." Yet, they cannot evade the inevitable visit from death, who stands next to them, ticking the seconds down until their demise.
