“Where is Lou headed off to without us?” Mordred asked from her bed inside the amulet.

“I think I heard him say that he was going to take a bath.” Elysif replied from beside her.

The Pendant they were in was actually quite homely. A small room which held a giant television like door which led out of the pendant sat at the front of the cell. Beyond that room lay a large bedroom with several bunks and a table. The walls were all a light brown color that seemed freshly painted. To the left of the front room in the bunk room was a door leading to a library. On the opposing wall was another door leading to a bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen. However, all of the food was canned. You can never trust an expiration date when the items in question are from the future.

At the back of the bunk room was another door which led to a closet in which Iscarat had sealed off so that he could spend his time peacefully trying to connect the pendant with his home. However, even he couldn’t quite understand the laws of dimensional time travel so he kept doing guess and check work with the hopes that he doesn’t accidentally rip them from reality or scatter them across time and space.

“He needs a bath. Speaking of that, could you help me to the bathroom?” Mordred asked politely.

“Of course.” Elysif replied before walking over to Mordred and helping her to her feet.

They had managed to turn some of her armor into leg splints and a back brace in order to help her walk but she still couldn’t even move her toes properly. That said, Mordred refused to stop trying to walk and would have Mordred or Compton help her up and make sure she didn’t fall over. Once she was standing and had her right arm over Elysif’s shoulder she reached down with her left hand and pulled the stilt up and forward. Then reaching to her right stilt she had a sudden realization. Her face went bright red.

“What’s wrong?” Elysif asked.

“You have to stop Lou!” Mordred demanded.

“What, why?” Elysif questioned.

“It’s a matter of pride! Set me down and stop him!” Mordred exclaimed in a rushed tone.

“Okay?” Elyif said as she helped Mordred back down into her bed.

She walked over to the room that connected with the outside world and hopped through. When she did she fell into Lou's room and quickly grabbed the pendant. Walking out of the room, she looked at the pendant.

"Where is the bathroom, Mordred?" Elysif asked.

"I don't know. I haven't lived here in nearly thirteen hundred years. Do you really think I would remember the layout?" She heard Mordred say from a distance through the pendant.

"Well that helps me doesn't it?" Elysif said sarcastically as she started to run down the hall.

As she ran through the hall she happened to run into one of the maids. She wasn't one that Elysif recognized but it didn't matter. She walked up to her and stopped.

"Excuse me, where is the bath?" Elysif asked.

"Huw awre yuou annde wwha arn youn waantayn?" The woman replied with a somewhat confused look.

"I can take care of this." Elysif heard Mordred say from the pendant.

"Hweer iss then baath?" Mordred asked through the pendant. The woman caught that and began pointing down the hall.

"Duwn then hawl ayn ay liyttlee wayns offn." She said.

"Thaync youn." Mordred said as Elysif started heading off to where the woman pointed.

"Where do I go from here?" Elysif asked.

"Just down the hall and I think she said to make a right." Mordred said.

"What do you mean you think?" Elysif replied with some minor annoyance.

"You try speaking old Brittonic after eleven hundred years and see how well off you are." Mordred replied mockingly.

"Whatever." Elysif said as she turned right at the first hallway she saw.

Traversing through the castle was like a maze. Some part of her almost expected to find some sort of reward at the end like with a rat and cheese but nope. The layout of the castle was atrocious and was impossible to figure out. Despite that she continued looking for Lou as best she could while also avoiding any unnecessary distractions. In the end she still couldn’t find it and headed back to the room. However, she couldn’t find it as she had no clue where she came from.
