《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Round Table - Part 051

“You really think we want to kill you?” Titania asked with a confused look.

“I mean, we do, but we promised we wouldn’t and we keep our promises. Though, we were going to hurt you as much as we could. The horn has blown though so this ends today's hunt. Eat, drink, and rest.” Oberon said before riding off with Titania.

Like before, a tree near us morphed into a bed and what I was now certain were leprechauns brought out food and chilled beers. Elysif and the others all appeared out of the pendant and joined me soon after Oberon and Titania left. Mordred seemed rather depressed and I knew why. Who wouldn’t be depressed if they were told they may never be able to walk again. Despite the fact that she looked depressed, she was smiling and trying to socialize with us as if nothing was wrong.

“Does your leg still hurt?” Mordred asked as we ate.

“Not really. It feels a bit numb but I can’t tell if that’s from the arrow or the constant running.” I said.

“By the time we get out of here you'll probably have the strongest legs in all of history. Maybe, I shouldn’t have sent you here. It’s way more dangerous and horrifying than I thought.” Mordred said with a chuckle.

“Yeah, this place is a nightmare. I feel like I have experienced every punishment I have ever and will ever deserve.” I replied.

“Nope, you deserve a lot worse.” Elysif interjected.

“Thanks, I feel great knowing I deserve to suffer.” I said sarcastically.

“You're welcome.” She replied sassily.

“When do we get to leave again?” Iscarat asked.

“I don’t know. A few weeks here I think.” Compton said.

“I’m going to die here!” I said as I held my head in my palms.

“You know that’s not true.” Elysif said.

“I can still die on the inside or emotionally.” I said with a bit too much snark in my voice.

“That is very true.” Mordred said.

“Anyways, how are you feeling?” I asked Mordred.

“Stuck, bored, and sad.” Mordred said way quicker than I thought she would.

“At least you know yourself” I replied.

“Recently, I have been wishing that I could have your abilities.” Mordred said.

“Although, the ability to heal is cool and I would have been dead a lot sooner if it wasn’t for it, it also has led me to suffer a lot more. Being tortured for three weeks wasn’t fun and getting my guts ripped out by Scott didn’t feel great either.” I said. As I did, Elysif made a motion to shut up with her hands.

“What did Scott do?” Mordred and Compton both asked like disappointed parents.

“Oh, nothing. It was nothing at all. Right, Lou?” Elysif said with a horribly lying tone.

“What happened, Lou?” Mordred asked with a threatening glare.

I quickly told them what Scott did and how he met the werewolf kid. They both understood the situation rather easily and passed it off. Since I was pretty tired and everyone else was as well. I expected to wake up with the sound of the horn like before but instead I was awoken by a palm sized fae that looked like a young woman. She wasn’t wearing anything but her long brown hair covered her like a revealing dress.

“Excuse me, I’m trying to sleep.” I said to it and rolled over.

“Rude, and I was going to ask you for a good time too.” the Fae said before pouting on the side of my tree bed. I rolled back over to face the Fae.

“First of all, you are rude for waking me up. Second, how would that even work?” I asked with a confused and very annoyed look.

“I have my ways.” she said seductively as she flew by my ear.

“Okay, why?” I asked with a confused tone.

“Because I figured we could help each other. You want to get out of here faster and I need you to do something.” she said.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“I’ll tell you later. For now just follow me.” she replied as she started to fly off. I quickly reached out and grabbed her by the wings.

“What are you doing?” she demanded.

“How do I know I can trust you?” I asked.

“The horn hasn’t been blown. All forms of hunting in the enchanted forest are forbidden until the morning horn is blown.” she said.

“Okay, I’ll believe you since even the Faerie Rulers obey that rule.” I said as I got up and let the fae go.
