《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Round Table - Part 061

“I think you went a little overboard.” Oberon said to Titania as he gave me a concerned look.
“But I can’t have an urchin like this hurting my darling can I?” she replied to him.
“I’m fine. It was only the future me I dragged along. Plus, this is training so of course we’re going to get hurt. Obviously him more than me but it still applies.” Oberon said. So he had a future version of himself. That would explain how there were two of him with his ability.
“In that case, let me spar with him. You’re going way too easy on him anyways.” she said with a smile.
“... sure, but please don’t kill him. I would hate to give our children more to clean up.” he replied cautiously.
“Don’t worry, I won’t kill him… no matter how much he begs for it.” she said with a horrifying smile.
My arm was growing back the muscle fibers as she said this so I didn’t waste any more time so whilst grabbing the training sword, I began running. I was hoping I could just make it outside the clearing and keep running but it was no use. The moment I got close to the edge of the clearing a thick log grew out of the ground at an alarming rate and slammed into my stomach. The force of it sent me flying back and also caused me to vomit the moment I hit the ground. Somehow through all of this I didn’t let go of the training sword
“What are you trying to run from? Didn’t you come here on your own accord? If you ask someone for a favor then you shouldn’t be the one to leave before it's done!” Titania said casually as she walked over to me. “Get up.”

“... Fine.” I said as I slowly got up. By this time my arm was completely healed but now my stomach was trying to heal.
“Good. now come at me.” she said eagerly.
“I don’t really want to.” I replied.
“Then I’ll come to you.” she said with a smile.
“Okay.” I replied knowing that her charging at me was probably worse for my health.
Charging forward I swung the training sword at her but even without using any form of trickery she stepped to the side, avoiding the practice sword. Since I was mid swing she reached out and grabbed my arm. With a single swift motion she spun around and crouched down with my arm held to her chest. Doing so sent me flying over her and onto my back. The problem though was that I was sent several meters away and she was still holding onto my arm. I yelled in pain at the fact that my arm was literally ripped off.
“Don’t be such a child. You’ve been in far more pain than this, right? Being dramatic isn’t exactly a luxury that you have right now.” she said as she walked over to me while slapping my arm into her hand like a battering baton.
“Yeah, I may have experienced worse than this but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. Humans are fragile and I am still one of them.” I replied as I got up and watched a new arm form. “Also, what do you have against my arms?”
“Well, I figured I would take off an appendage one at a time. Your arms were just the easiest to get to at the time.” she said before chucking my removed arm into the brush on the side of the clearing.

I don’t know why but her saying that really struck a nerve. Without any delay I charged at her again and attempted a punch to her face. Again she stepped to the side which I somewhat expect so as quickly as possible I switched from a punch to a spinning kick. My foot was on the path to connect with her chest when my leg suddenly exploded like a flesh balloon. My initial shock and now off balanced body caused me to fall to the ground.
“You were close to hitting me. I’m impressed that you got that close and that you were able to change your attack so quickly. However, I am still much stronger and faster than you.” she said with a somewhat impressed look. I didn’t care though as my body was in so much pain as it started forming my leg back.
“How are you able to do that?” I asked painfully.
“My ability allows me to alter and create living things. Trees and plants are my favorite but if I touched a human I could alter the nature of their body parts and cause them to do as I wish. For you, I simply altered the atomic structure of your leg and it exploded. A normal human would have died from losing that much blood but since you are our creator's vessel I guess you aren’t human any more.” she said.
Just as she finished talking Compton’s short sword shot from the ground near her and just grazed her cheek. She jumped back and rubbed the blood away from the cut on her cheek. As she did it completely healed up. Several hundred strings of needle-like blood shout out from around me at her. However, as soon as the blood touched her it dried up and turned all of the blood needles to dust.
“Sorry we’re late. Compton was asleep in the library and wasn’t waking up.” Elysif said.
