《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Round Table - Part 075

Upon my arrival back to my room I was greeted by a very enthusiastic Medea as she had completed all of the writing assignments I had given her. However, her excitement turned into concern as to why I had what looked to be a little girl held under my arm.

“Master, who is that? Don’t tell me you kidnaped this girl!” she exclaimed with worry as she had come to her own disturbing conclusion.

“No, The fairy king Oberon gifted her to me as an offering to apologise for her trying to kill me. However, I feel like the one being punished right now as she is quite the pain in my ass.” I said before plopping the fairy on the bed and shutting the door.

“I see. For a second there I was worried that you had kidnapped her.” Medea said with a bit less worry in her voice.

“Anyways, let’s see your writing.” I said before she handed me the paper. It was nearly perfect. Her handwriting is a little sloppy but it will get better. Otherwise it was perfect.

“Did I do good?” she asked impatiently.

“Yes, you did perfect. Your handwriting is a little bit sloppy but that’s fine. It will get better with practice. That said, it’s still better than my handwriting.” I said with a smile before handing it back to her.

“Thank you!” she exclaimed happily.

“Would you like me to read to you for a bit? You can follow along.” I said as I picked up the Iliad.

“Please do.” she said before sitting on the bed. I followed by sitting next to her and much to my surprise Lily did the same.

For the next couple of hours I read through the book with my finger under each word as I read. Every now and then I would have to stop and explain what certain words meant. Though some of it I wasn’t even sure about so I would have to grab the dictionary and it ended up being a hassle. Even so, I didn’t mind. When I was done though I finally asked Medea about Shera.

“Medea, would you want me to get rid of the head maid for you?” I asked. I could see Lily was going to say something but she could tell that her input wasn’t needed.

“What do you mean?” Medea asked.

“She hurts you a lot and it’s not okay. After talking to Arthur she has taken care of her but I want to know if you forgive her or if you want her to feel the same pain you did?” I asked.

“I don’t know. She always hated me yet she was so nice to everyone else. I just want to never see her again. If that can happen then I think I can forgive her.” she said as she hugged her knees.

“Alright then. I understand. After tomorrow you’ll never have to see her again.” I said with a smile. She looked at me for a moment as if she was processing what I was saying then smiled back.

It was at that time that I realized it was nearly dinner time. Getting up I walked over to the desk and placed the book on the dresser. I had to think for a moment about what I was going to do but first I needed to make sure things went smoothly.

“Medea, you should probably go get ready for dinner.” I said to Medea. “Lily, could you please go with her. If anyone hurts her then break their hand.”

“Of course.” Medea said.

“I have no problems with that.” Lily replied before they both left.

Now that I was alone I could do something. At least, I could without those two hearing. I figured that Medea wouldn’t agree with my methods. Medea was still a child though so the less she knows the better.

“Mordred, are you there?” I asked. After a second I heard Mordred answer from inside the pendent. “Could you come out here?”

“What do you want to talk about?” she asked as she appeared.

“I have a favor to ask. Though you’re not going to like it.” I said.

“What is it?” She asked with a bit of an annoyed and worried tone.

“Tomorrow, after the bout. If I am knighted then I would like you to…”

At dinner some of the knights were surprised by my arrival as many weren’t sure where I had been the past couple of days. What they didn’t know was that three days in their time was around a months time in the enchanted forest. My appearence also concerned them as my hair was now down my back at around thirty-five centimeters. Which it was nearly impossible for it to grow that long over the course of three days. Though I also thought it was weird for it to grow that fast over what felt like a month to me.

“What happened to you?” Gwaine asked with a somewhat worried expression.
