《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Round Table - Part 079

Sneaking her way back Mordred, led by Lily eventually got back to my room. Though, upon their arrival Mordred found the sleeping Medea on the floor and grew concerned for another reason. How exactly did Lily knock her out. She really hoped that Lily didn’t just club a child in the back of the head.
“What happened to Medea?” Mordred asked as she got down and picked up the sleeping child.
“I used some magic to create a sleeping mist and blew it in her face.” Lily said as Mordred set the sleeping Medea on Lou’s bed.
“And why didn’t you use that on my past self? It would have been very helpful.” Mordred asked.
“It only works on children. All it would have done to your past self was piss her off more.” Lily replied.
“Well anyways, thank you for getting my father.” she said.
“It wasn’t a big problem. Plus, I assumed that Lou would be pretty pissed if he found out that while he was away you were killed by yourself.” Lily said. Sure enough I was pissed as I appeared out of the pendent at that moment.
“So want to tell me what happened?” I said as I held out my hand for the pendent. Both of them looked at each other as if they were children who didn’t want to tell their parent they broke something. Though it was obvious that something had gone on. Mordred’s clothes were ripped and burned in some places. Medea was passed out and Lily… well, Lily looked normal but her face said otherwise.
“I was sort of seen by my past self and we fought through the entire castle...” Mordred said while avoiding my eyes. She handed me the pendent as she did but now I didn’t care, I was a pissed.

“You did what!” I yelled. “Do you have any idea how poorly that could have gone?”
“Of course I know. I have no memory of ever fighting someone who looked like myself during this time so I assume that I just changed the timeline a little bit. Who knows what could happen now.” she yelled back.
“Be quiet!” Lily yelled before changing into a more hushed tone. “Medea is still sleeping.”
“Sorry. Anyways, please tell me that no one saw you?” I asked as I sat down on the foot of the bed and rubbed where my temples would be on my mask.
“...”
“What? How many people saw you?” I asked with a worried tone.
“A lot.” she said before biting her lip.
“How much is a lot?” I asked as I raised my head up.
“At least a quarter of the castle.” she said, knowing it wasn’t good.
“Fuck me…” I said as I slammed my face back down into my hands. “Just get inside the pendent before something else happens, please.”
Both of them realized it was probably the best thing for everyone if they went inside the pendent so they walked over and activated it. Sucking them both inside I was alone again if you don’t count the sleeping Medea. I sat there for a moment and tried my best to gather my thoughts and altogether just calm myself. The bath may have been relaxing but what I came back to made my stress skyrocket. Just as I thought it couldn’t get any worse I heard a knocking at the door. Opening the door I saw that it was Mordred. Covered in bruises and with a cut on her cheek. She also seemed to look like she couldn’t walk straight as she was leaned up against the door frame.

“You okay?” I asked.
“I’m fine. I just hit my head a bit so now I’m feeling a bit tired.” she said as she swayed a bit against the wall and looked as if she was about to fall over.
“Do you need help getting to your room?” I asked, now worried that Mordred may have gone a bit too far with her past self.
“That would be great.” she said before falling into me.
“Okay, let’s go!” I replied as I threw her arm over my shoulder and started helping her down the hall. This was going to be a long night.
