《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Beginning Of The End - Part 001

I stood not in a field nor near burning tents and dead Danes but in an infinite room. The floor was coated in a layer of water which I seemed to float upon. Above me were stars which circled all around. Galaxies and space clouds, creating a wonderful array of colors through light danced around my body. Yet, I did not care. I knew exactly where I was and it pissed Me off more than ever to be here again.

“Why did you bring me here Tim?” I asked the spectral child standing behind me. I turned to face the spirit with hate in my eyes. Unlike usual, Tim didn’t have long hair on one side nor did the being look remotely feminine. In fact, it almost looked like a young boy. Which was off putting for me who had seen Tim as neither male nor female until this point.

“I brought you here to prevent you from getting yourself killed, or at the very least, from attempting something stupid.” Tim said in the voice of a young boy, further putting me off as Tim didn’t normally sound like that.

“I could have killed him. He would have died just now and everything would have been solved.” I said angrily. Tim shook his head with a disappointed look.

“I knew you were dumb but this is beyond my expectations. Had you continued then yes, you may have harmed him but it wouldn’t change anything. Everything still would have played out as you have already seen it and there would be nothing that you could do about it.” Tim said.

“I don’t care. Send me back and I’ll kill him whether I die or not.” I stated.

“I can’t send you back.” Tim said with a slight smile.

“Why not?” I asked. Tim looked at me with eyes of pure joy and pleasure.

“Because I find your suffering entertaining. Have you seen how many people died in the past few months? People you care about. People you loved. People you just got around to knowing. I know how you have felt and I also know that you had seen Mordred as more than just a friend. You just never took the time to figure out your own emotions to realize it; and now, she’s dead. Along with Iscarat, Gwaine, and Arthur.” Tim said with a sadistic smile.

“Shut up!” I yelled. Tim’s face changed to that of something stern which didn’t match his body whatsoever.

“It’s all your fault.” Tim continued.

“I said shut up!” I yelled again before charging forward and stabbing my sword into Tim’s chest in a fit of blind rage. Though I knew that it wouldn’t hurt him. Without so much as lifting a finger, the spectral deity could easily stop me. Yet he didn’t. He didn’t even flinch as it pierced through his small body.

“Good, now hate me! Hate me and do what it is that you need to do! You can’t save the dead but you can save the living.” Tim said with a villainous smile as his body began to turn into a strange mist which was absorbed by my sword.

“I do hate you. I always have.” I said quietly to myself as I returned my sword to my scabbard and dropped Clarent into my pendant. I was shocked by the fact that he didn’t try to stop me. However, the feeling of hate I had overpowered any other emotions that I could have possibly had at the moment.

“What an interesting weapon. I can’t believe that it was able to kill my brother just like that?” the voice of a young girl said from behind me. With fear, I turned around to see Tim. however, it wasn’t the Tim I just stabbed but a different one. This one was that of a young girl with long hair that stretched from the open air she was sitting on down into a pile below her and with much more feminine features.

“What the hell?” I said.

“I’m sorry. My other half is far more sadistic and destructive than I would like him to be. However, you gave him what he wanted so I guess I have to thank you.” The female Tim said with a somewhat compassionate tone that didn’t match her emotionless face.

“How are there two of you?” I asked.

“There have always been two of us. We were one in the same. You only saw us while we were combined so I guess this would come as a surprise. My other half was growing bored of doing this over and over again and frankly, so am I. Thus, we decided to split apart so that one of us could pass on and the other would stay behind. As you would probably guess, we decided that I would stay. Though I wish that both of us could have passed on but If we both were killed then there would be no one to keep the flow of time continuing.” Tim said with a blank expression that gave off no sign of any emotion whatsoever.

“So you’re telling me that he goaded me into attacking him so that he could just die?” I asked.

“Yes… is that not what you would consider normal?” she asked as she cocked her head to the side.

“Not at all. Most people don’t want to die.” I replied.

“I see…” she said as she floated to the ground and stretched out as if she was a cat about to take a nap.

“Any thoughts on what I should do? Your other half said that he wouldn’t send me back to save Mordred. Will you prevent me from doing that as well?” I asked. She gave me a strange look of confusion then shut her eyes as if she was thinking.

“I will prevent you from going there again. Your past self is already there so it would be pointless. Nothing will change at all so why bother. In fact, you may just make it worse for yourself. What I suggest you do is try and figure out what you can about Merlin. His weak points and strengths. Though, I couldn’t care less. Do what you want.” she said as she rolled over and looked as if she was going to sleep. Unlike the Tim I had known before, she was actually easy to deal with.

“And how about if I kill you?” I asked as I drew my sword once again.

“I won’t stop you from killing me. Though, if you did then all of time would stop. Your friends would be trapped inside that pendant forever as we are outside of time and those on earth would freeze completely. You would feel the same suffering we felt for so long.” she said without moving a muscle.

“Fine then. Could you at least send me to a starting point? I have no clue where to even begin.” I asked as I sheathed my sword. She simply lifted her arm up and waved her hand without saying a word and the next thing I knew I was falling flat on my face in the middle of the woods.
