《Light of Returning Darkness》CH 63 : MYSTERIOUS SHOP

On the next day
Feng Luotian and Sun Wuji met up and went to Peacock School together.
After they became one of Peacock School’s disciples, they received student badges to present on the Peacock School Gate and enter without requiring to do the check-in.
Feng Luotian and Sun Wuji hurried over to their master’s place
Sun Wuji was excited to learn new skills and received a pointer from the Supreme Elder himself whom people thought to be even stronger than Peacock Lord.
Feng Luotian, on the other hand, was also looking forward to how his new master was going to teach a reincarnator like him, maybe there was some knowledge he missed from his past life.
However, upon entering Mei Hengkong’s room and requesting to take their first lesson on their first day at Peacock School, their master said in an annoying tone: “What?! You want me to teach you?!”
“!!” The two disciples gave each other a look in confusion.
Their master continued: “You brats!! When I was your age, I couldn’t even lift a finger in front of a Six Fangs Fighter. On the contrary, you defeated a Three Talon clone!! You think I have something to teach geniuses like you. Even thinking about it makes me really frustrated!! Go and train on your own. I don’t have anything to teach you. Don’t ever request me to teach you again!!”
Sun Wuji was absolutely befuddled with his master’s code of conduct, thinking: “Isn’t it normal to teach your disciple since you’re our master? And you have nothing to teach us? Bullshit!! You’re clearly stronger and much older than us. Surely, you know something about the cultivation world that we don’t. Can you at least act like one’s master?”
While Sun Wuji was complaining nonstop within his mind, Feng Luotian only let out a wry smile. He knew Mei Hengkong for far too long as his grandfather-in-law.
Suddenly, a bag was thrown in front of Sun Wuji, causing a loud thud.
Mei Hengkong: “Wuji, take the money and buy yourself some weapon!! As for Luotian, since you’re already much richer than me, don’t expect me to give you any money. Hmph!! Now go!! Don’t disturb this old man’s rest any longer.”
Although Feng Luotian had given ‘all’ of his lion tail’s blades, Mei Hengkong still remembered that he kept some of the monster cores away before he instantly refined the rest.

Feng Luotian did not mind one bit as he bid his farewell: “Yes, Master. Have a good rest!! We’ll take our leave.”
Sun Wuji was completely still, confused about what to do next.
Feng Luotian beckoned: “Let’s go, Brother Sun.”
Only after being woken up by his brother, Sun Wuji collected the bag on the floor and saluted to Mei Hengkong: “Thank you, Master. Have a good rest!!”
But before they both left, Mei Hengkong spoke: “Before you go, I’ll give you two a mission. Find your senior brother, Xiu Yao. And tell him to come and meet me. That is all, go!!”
Feng Luotian and Sun Wuji turned back and bowed: “Yes, master!!”
Following that, they both left with the same questions in mind.
“Who the hell is this Xiu Yao?”
“What does he look like?”
“And where do we start?”
Their master did not give any clue about this mission at all.
“Why do people around me have to be so troublesome all the time?”
Feng Luotian thought.
Nonetheless, since it was their mission, they had no choice but to carry it out without fail.
Both Feng Luotian and Sun Wuji walked out of the Peacock School and proceeded to find a weapon shop to buy some for Sun Wuji. As for the rest of the team, such as Mei Yue’er, Tu Lingxi, and Ying Lizhua, they trained with their respective masters like any common cultivators would do.
While they were strolling without knowing which weapon store they should go to, Sun Wuji opened the money bag his master gave him: “Wow!! Our master is quite rich? This is almost the amount Sister Mei handed you during the exam!! With this kind of money, we can go to the most famous weapon shop within the city, what do you think, Brother Feng?”
A certain memory flashed across Feng Luotian’s mind, he suggested Sun Wuji: “No. I know a shop that is far more formidable than that.”
Sun Wuji gave Feng Luotian a glance. Ever since his brother was eaten by the Wight Wolf, he tended to know a lot of things that he never once talked about. As for how Feng Luotian awakened his bloodline and became Six Fangs or Seven Fangs in just one month, in the end, he only told his friends that it was a secret, making them roll their eyes at him. But if Feng Luotian did not want to talk about it, then they would not insist on getting an answer from him.

Since Sun Wuji already got used to this new Feng Luotian, he spread his hands and nonchalantly said: “Lead the way, then.”
As they were not in a hurry, they were slowly wandering around the city. It took about two hours before they arrived at their destination in the western part of the city.
While the western part was still the Mei Clan’s vicinity because they were ruling the whole city, this was where the Sikong Clan’s headquarter was located. Even though they were entering without any hidden agenda, any friends of the Mei Clan had to tread carefully here.
Sun Wuji was tugging his brother’s sleeve all the way from the moment they stepped into the western area, but Feng Luotian showed no sign of stopping and slowly headed to that shop he was talking about.
Fortunately, at their destination, there was no one from the Sikong Clan within their sight, rather, there was no one at all. This made Sun Wuji become puzzled because Feng Luotian said that this weapon shop was even more formidable than the most famous one in town.
If it was like Feng Luotian said, there should a lot of customers buzzing around the place like bees. But in reality, this was more like a creeping place where people tended to avoid.
The shop itself was making the atmosphere even more haunted. It was a dilapidated wooden house. Dry rice straw was scattered on the ground and on the anvil in front of the shop.
Caw!! Caw!! Caw!!
A couple of black crows flew by and landed on top of the anvil, crying out their song.
On the weapon shop’s entrance, there was a tilted plaque inscribed with the word ‘Ming’ on it.
Sun Wuji asked in a low voice: “Brother Feng, are you sure this is the place. It was once a weapon shop, alright, but it’s probably been closed for at least a decade!!”
Feng Luotian laughed and assured his brother: “Hehe … this is the place, Brother Sun. And you might find something you’ll never hope to find in any other shop within the city.”
Sun Wuji: “You mean a dried corpse of the owner?”
Feng Luotian laughed even louder than before: “HAHAHA!! You’re really funny. Come on, let’s enter!!”
After that, they both entered the shop, but not far from where they were earlier, a couple of shadows behind the wall were slipping away and vanished.
Upon entering the shop, Feng Luotian greeted: “Shop owner. We’ve come to buy some weapons. Please show us the way.”
“…” No one but the silence was answering him.
Sun Wuji: “See? There’s no one here.”
Feng Luotian let out a small chuckle: “It’s because he thinks we have no money. Show him what you’ve got, Brother Sun.”
Sun Wuji started to think that his brother was out of his mind today, so he sighed and shook his head. This would be the last time he satisfied his brother’s senseless demand. In case of no one showing up even after he took out the money bag, he would leave immediately.
However, after Sun Wuji flung out the bag and opened it, the moment the aura radiating from monster cores inside the bag illuminated the broken and run-down room, the room gradually changed forms.
All the broken and rusty tools returned to their places properly and all shiny. The tables, chairs, and cabinets were all shaking dust away looking even better than the newly-made furniture. Inside the cabinet, one weapon after another manifested themselves in an orderly manner, glowing its dazzling light in different colors according to their elements.
Sun Wuji’s mouth parted and would never close if the transformation was everchanging. He was dumbfounded at what had transpired before him. As for Feng Luotian, he only thought in his mind: “The formation here is quite amazing. No matter how many times I see it.”
Once the old store became the fabulous one, the middle-aged man respectfully walked towards his two customers and bowed: “Welcome, young masters. What kind of weapon do you have in mind? I promise you that any weapon within this store can satisfy you quite well. However, just the money in that bag will only be sufficient to buy one or two weapons in this room, but not in the room further in.”

> The GOD made a simple offer. And the man rejoiced, and gladly accepted. However...something goes wrong, and instead of being reborn, the man wakes up inside a strange room in a ruined temple. > -NOTICE- This series is also available on my personal blog, along with two other series I am currently working on (blog exclusives). -NOTICE- CHANGE OF SCHEDULE- Due to some IRL stuff, I am forced to change the schedule for Re:Interference. Because of that, I will make two major changes to the schedule. First, I will be able to release one single chapter each week. Next, the release of it will be random. That means, one week I could release it on friday, the next one on sunday etc... whenever a chapter is ready (writing, editing, proofreading of 9000+ words) it will be released. If you read this, please do keep in mind that: English is not my native language (so, by all means, if you spot bad grammar/ wrong terms etc take your time to leave a comment, it will help me a lot) As this is my first attempt at writing a web novel (well...technically it's my second attempt...but oh well) please leave some feedback about the story. Any kind of feedback will be appreciated (unless it is just blatant, non-funny insult) Thank You for your Time!
