《Light of Returning Darkness》CH 65 : FATE OF METAL

It’s to be expected from someone of that clan.
Feng Luotian inwardly thought as he read the information on the Kronos window. He walked and sat on the chair Ming Zhuo beckoned.
“Little Mu, prepare some tea for our guest.”
Ming Zhuo waved his hands and ordered his manager.
Deng Mu received the command: “Yes, boss. Please wait a moment.” He then retreated from the room.
It was quite a strange sight to see a youngster commanding a middle-aged man in a weapon shop not some famous clan with many young masters around, but Feng Luotian knew very well whose age was actually older.
When there were only two of them left in the room, the shop owner asked: “What kind of weapon do you want me to make?”
Feng Luotian chuckled: “Don’t you want to know what I have first? Maybe it’s not enough for your service.”
Ming Zhuo smilingly replied: “It’s alright. I trust my attendant’s judgment.”
Feng Luotian also smiled in response: “But I think he misunderstood something when I said I want to discuss business with you. Also, ever since I entered this room, I have changed my mind about how this business should go.”
“Oh … how so?”
“I won’t be paying you anything” flatly answered Feng Luotian.
The smile that was plastered on the shop owner’s face since Feng Luotian entered the room finally vanished and was replaced with a darkening complexion.
RUMBLE!!
The air in the room became harder to breathe as its pressure was getting thicker.
Ming Zhuo coldly stated: “You think I like hearing jokes?!”
Normal cultivators at Fang Realm would have already passed out by now, but Feng Luotian was sitting there just fine.
A suppressive force from a Wing Realm Master? This was like a breeze on a beach to Feng Luotian as he was still relaxing and grinning on his chair.
Seeing a boy without cultivations completely unfazed under his pressure, Ming Zhuo was startled inside. He then subconsciously retracted his aura.
“Impossible!! Who the hell is he? Rather, what is he?!”
It could not be explained by any common sense.
[Suppressive Force] was a method used by a cultivator or a monster to restrict their target’s movement. It was an instant release of pure Theríon upon the target of the weaker cultivation.

Even though it was very convenient when using in battle because it could disable the target without having any disabling skill, the Theríon consumption was enormous.
It would cost most of one’s Theríon to completely restrain the target with the same cultivation level. As the target’s cultivation got weaker, the Theríon used to activate [Suppressive Force] would be lessened. However, if the target was weaker, why would they need to exert such a technique like [Suppressive Force]? Wouldn’t it be simpler just to kill the target outright?
The only time one would use [Suppressive Force] was when they did not even bother to lift a finger to crush some ants. The suppression alone could literally squash one to a bloody pool given when the user was at least two realms stronger than their target.
So, the fact that Ming Zhuo was supposedly three realms above Feng Luotian yet could not deter the guy in the slightest was far just extraordinary. This guy was a freak of nature!!
Bang!!
Sensing an overwhelming pressure from the room, the shop manager, Deng Mu, quickly opened the door and rushed inside with the tea set. The first thing he noticed was an expression on his boss’s face which he had never seen before.
Although he did not ask out loud, the question was obviously on his face as he signaled his boss with his eyes: “What the hell is going on?”
Ming Zhuo did not make any respond to the question, only waved his hand gesturing to his attendant to continue his task.
Despite being confused about what happened earlier, Deng Mu poured the tea for Feng Luotian and his boss as per his order.
While Ming Zhuo was still being dumbfounded inside, Feng Luotian took a sip of tea and casually replied: “It’s not a joke. Because, at the end of this business deal, you’ll still make a lot more profits than me.”
The frown on Ming Zhuo’s face was still present, showing that he still did not get what Feng Luotian was talking about.
“It seemed you don’t understand what I was saying. Since that’s the case then I will explain things to you in detail. At first, I’ve come to order a custom-made bow of a Titanium grade or higher along with nine elemental arrows. And the payment will be … a Titanium material.”

Ming Zhuo immediately stood up after hearing the word ‘Titanium material’. He immediately turned to his attendant and asked with his expression.
Deng Mu excitedly nodded in return to confirm Feng Luotian’s statement. They both were working in a weapon business, of course, they realized how precious the Titanium material was.
And since Feng Luotian only ordered one Titanium weapon, if the payment was really a Titanium material, although the shop had to prepare many materials to forge the weapon, it would still be profited by more than four pieces of Titanium armaments.
Ming Zhuo was extremely surprised that this young man could possess such an item, but earlier the guy said that he would not pay him anything. What did he mean? Did he expect me to forge him a Titanium weapon for free?
Ming Zhuo sat back down to hear what Feng Luotian had to say.
Feng Luotian continued: “But after I saw a formation on your anvil, I’ve changed my mind. It seems that a Titanium material can make me have an upper hand dealing business with you than other stores. It’s an [Fate of Metal Formation], right? The one that is used to upgrade an armament to its higher grade.”
The shocked expression plastered on the shop owner’s face. As for the manager, he turned toward the anvil and found that what the guy said was true.
Right now, Deng Mu started to blame himself for bringing the customer in here before making sure that the room was ‘ready’ to receive a guest, but since this guest had already seen it, there was no changing it. But who would have thought that the boy with no cultivation could identify the formation used by a Wing Master in a single glance?
Deng Mu was working for Ming Zhuo long enough to have a chance to see the formation. He once asked about it and his boss only said that it could augment an armament and had a possibility to upgrade it to a higher grade.
Deng Mu was astounded once he heard what it could do. But that was it. He did not know the name of the formation, and thought that it was a common formation used by a high-rank forger, so he just imagined that this boy was just knowledgeable.
Ming Zhuo, on the other hand, became even more terrified by Feng Luotian. When he was still pondering about how Feng Luotian could survive his suppressive force, now the same guy recognized the formation that happened to be his clan’s secret formation!!
Feng Luotian started to enjoy the sense of having more knowledge than others … without Kronos interfering. Before when he gave out a plan to people in Raven Village, he did not feel like much achievement as they were all Fang Realm bumpkins. But now he was giving a Wing Realm Master an awestruck, that was something.
Feng Luotian planned to give the shop owner a heart attack before he stopped speaking, as he continued with a smug face: “The weapon lying on the top of the anvil seems to be at the peak of Titanium grade, so you should be trying to upgrade it to a Demirium weapon, right? If that’s true, then you’re also at the peak of Titanium forger trying to break through and become a Demirium forger. That means what you need the most right now is the job proficiency as a forger to give you more comprehension about forging armaments.”
“It would be incredibly difficult to find a high forger in other stores within this city, let alone a Titanium forger. Only Heron Lord could be considered a Titanium forger. A high forger who could only forge high-grade armaments does not have any hope to use the Titanium material as they won’t be able to forge a Titanium armament even if they possess such material. So, I think my Titanium material can only fetch the highest price from either you or Heron Lord. I have already given him one in exchange for his favor. So, tell me. If I am to give you an opportunity to break through to a Demirium forger, will I still need to pay anything or will you beg me to offer you this job?”
As his eyes widely opened, Ming Zhuo asked with a trembling voice: “W-Who are you?”
