《The day I became World Administrator》39. Mysterious compas

- "359?!" Isaac shouted out loud before suddenly looking up at the two teenagers. He cleared his throat. "Alright, I'll let you know when we leave. Probably in the next couple of months," he said.
He was in a hurry. 359 notifications was much more than all his cumulative notifications on Facebook. The system had literally spammed him. As he started to leave, a voice interrupted him.
- "Monsignor! Can I come with you on your trip ?" Artiel pushed, drawing Isaac's attention.
"Ah ... I almost forgot about him" he thought. He didn't really want another person to take care of, but at the same time, the young man's sword skills seemed to have inexplicably increased in addition to the fact that his techniques were different. His mana circuits seemed to have changed and strengthened.
Isaac hadn't paid attention to it at first, but as time went on the difference became glaring. With a little time, the young man could become an outstanding swordsman and who knows, one day he could do magic. A swordsman-mage, that would be nice to see all the same.
So Isaac had taken an interest in the young man ever since. He also didn't want to let such a promising test subject go. He nodded positively.
- "You can join us" he said before leaving without a sound.
Behind him, Rebecca and Artiel were excited to leave the plains in which they had lived since their childhood. They were going to discover other landscapes. But what they feared most as they left were the bandits, monsters and wild beasts that inhabit the far and unknown lands of the world.
But with Isaac, these dangers seemed insignificant compared to their master's creations. By force, even Artiel began to consider him as his master, and Isaac as his apprentice. Advice in herbalism or botany, little recommendations on how to fight mages or detect magic traps. The young man had learned a lot from the lessons Rebecca was telling him every evening.
Without waiting any longer, they climbed back up the cliffs before resuming their training individually. Rebecca in the battle arena and Artiel with a sword on trunks no longer needing to attempt to build a house since they would soon be leaving. He had to prepare himself to at least hope to make himself useful.
For his part, once arrived on his flying rock, Isaac opened his notifications interface and began to consult all those he had not read. He hadn't paid attention to it for a while.
He had received many titles, some recent as [Magical Architect], but some were quite old including [Nuclear Engineer]. However, two notifications stood out from the others.
The first was the one unlocking him the title [Archmage] in gold.
The second was an [Admin Message] but this time written. Seeing the message, he opened it and began to read it. Why was this a written message? He did not know it.

Congratulations on achieving the rank of Archmage! With this, the garden probably holds no more secrets for you. You don't have much interest in staying there. See this as the end of your tutorial!
I have scattered messages in other places like the garden of origins, in ruins in the heavens, under the seas, in volcanoes. It's up to you to try to discover them if you wish!
Once outside, you will no longer have the help of the Logic Rune windows. You will surely have noticed it, but it is just a function of the garden. After all, they were only there to teach you the basics.
I'm glad to see that you seem interested in this adventure, so I shall reward you for your efforts so far.
Good luck and have fun!
"A reward," Isaac thought immediately as he read the message. "A reward, eh?" he said to himself with a smile. Initially, Isaac had invested himself out of obligation to avoid being sad and nostalgic by thinking back to his family and friends whom he had left in another probably destroyed world. Then his interest changed from necessity to curiosity, then from curiosity to some form of passion.
If he had the chance, he really wanted to show them Falanx and everything in this world. He couldn't wait to show them what he could do and more!
As he thought, a new notification suddenly appeared in front of him. A new golden colored window with shiny white text. Isaac lowered his eyes and read.
You have found 1 [Compass]!
A compass suddenly appeared in Isaac's hands, pointing in a direction. He came over to hug the compass in his hands with a smile on his face. He had a new goal to achieve. He felt like he was being kicked out.
It was a bit of a dissimilar manner like a parent trying to kick their eighteen year old out of the house. Using the analogy, Isaac chuckled a little to himself before looking up to the horizon under the starry night.
He then took the compass and looked at the direction pointed before laughing again. "Surprise ... it points to Kilguana" he thought.
That night, Artiel and Rebecca packed their things and tried to contain their excitement. For his part, Isaac had a lot to do.
First, if he had to travel, his ears and his golden aura clothes were going to bother him more than anything else. After all, if he had to be surrounded all the time, he who hated to attract attention, his calm demeanor would be strained. They could nevertheless be assets if he had to put pressure on the authorities to obtain something.
Besides, he liked his aura clothes and didn't want to cut his ears. He had looked for a possible option in the interfaces to change races, but no interface closely resembled a status or profile window. He quickly gave up.

He therefore opted for an intermediate option. First, he reduced the brightness of his aura and the filaments that made up his clothes so that he was no longer a walking lamp.
After that, he created for himself a hood that allowed him to hide his ears as well as an all-white mask giving the possibility of seeing through but in one way. No one could see his face, but he could see them.
The mask was quite simple to create since it ended up being a very small one-way barrier. When he was done, he made shoes for himself. He had been barefoot since getting here, since he flew most of the time and his aura even protected the underside of his feet, he didn't need to.
Nevertheless, if he was to meet official people, form and appearance were of great importance. Whether in a medieval or modern world, a candidate arriving in shorts, tank top and slippers for something important was almost certain to fail.
With that done, he spent the rest of the night creating a new artifact. In the same way he had created his grimoire, he took the fire flower he had found when he arrived in the gardens.
The flower with rather extraordinary defense capacities had caught his eye quickly. Able to create an aura of defense and protect itself from an attack, it seemed quite useful. Although his aura already seemed to suffice against most attacks, you could never be sure.
So he took the bush and used the spiritual energy produced by his reactor before handling the flower. First, he reduced the size of the stems so that they were thin enough and changed their color to white but only got light green. Second, he made the stems come to mingle with the fabric of his coat so that it covers his body in case something could cross his aura.
After all, the plant had been able to repel its aura. So he was certain that if something crossed his aura, the plant could stop it.
Green patterns thus appeared on Isaac's white robe, the marks glowing slightly with a red glow but not excessively. Isaac's clothes now emitted a new aura, different and more imposing, reinforced by the growth that the spiritual energy infused in the plant had brought about.
Once satisfied, the night was almost over. So he set about adding new runes and arcana to his spellbook. The plant that he had just handled and that he named 'flower of fire' had given him an idea.
Now part of his vestment, the plant was now an inherent part of Isaac's clothing and his aura. This allowed him greater ease and flexibility on the plant. Among other things, after having infused it with a large amount of energy, the plant as well as his grimoire were more malleable, since the energy of Isaac became familiar to him even friendly.
Throughout the morning, therefore, he set about trying to find a way to use the plant differently and to extend its usefulness in defense to offense. In particular in order to be able to throw vines of fire from it.
It was a new form of attack that mixed the manipulation of a plant's mana circuit and the inscription of runes on the surface of the latter to strengthen it and accelerate its growth by infusing it with energy. .
The operation was complex and Isaac failed to complete when the sun finally rose.
Isaac wasn't the only one busy that night. Several dozen kilometers away in the small town of Erivia on the edge of the Fray'r Plains on the Kilguana border, two men in light armor sat in an empty inn guarded by similarly dressed guards.
Both had pure black hair, their facial features stiff and drawn, and their skin relatively tanned. Both men had serious expressions.
- "Do you really believe them? An elf, are you serious?" one of them shouted, laughing lightly.
- "Why would they lie to us?" retorted the other.
- "To make us leave? To scare us? I don't know, I'm not a peasant lost in an even more lost hole! Stop taking your head for a rumor, Raphael" resumed the other, taking a sip of his mug.
- "Hm. You're right, but what should we tell His Majesty? We're not going to tell him there's an elf ... hm?" Raphael continued. "We will be the laughing stock of the army."
- "You are not wrong. What should we do then?"
- "See for ourselves" he answered immediately.
The other man took a sip and began to cough, putting down his mug before looking at Raphael's serious expression.
- "I really do not want to redo the path on horseback ...", seeing the unchanged look of his interlocutor, he sighed. "Alright, when are we leaving?"
- "Tomorrow at dawn, be ready" he finally answered, getting up before disappearing upstairs in the inn, entering his room.
Behind him, the other man took another sip of his mug.
- "An elf" he said laughing. "And I saw a fairy."
Isaac sneezed. "A cold ?" he thought.

The Ultimate Supporter
Mona stood there, her body has stopped shaking as she stared at Sarah with no expression. “... do I have to set a goal?” Mona asked quietly. “Yes, if you do not then you will not be allowed to play Road Builder.” “...why? Why do we have to set a goal?” “This game is about inspiring people to work hard towards something that they wish to achieve. Don’t you have something you wish to achieve too ma’am?” “... I… do.” “What is your goal then ma’am?” “My goal… my goal is to become the ultimate supporter.” Feelings rushed back into Mona’s eyes as she clenched both her fists hard. “I want to help others succeed. I don’t need to be the main character. I want other people to be the main character.” Mona yelled as tears began to stream down her face. “I just… I just want to feel needed again.” Mona sniffled. Sarah looked at her with a soft expression on her face. “Is ‘I want to become the ultimate supporter’ your final choice?” Sarah asked. Mona bit on her lip as tears continued to stream down her face. She slowly nodded her head. “Alright then… this goal has been registered onto your avatar. You will soon spawn into a town and began your journey.” Sarah smiled, her eyes illuminating warmth to Mona. Mona nodded her head understanding as she wiped away the tears. A blue circle appeared around her as numbers counting down from ten appeared in front of her. 10… 9… 8… “By the way ma’am.” Sarah said. 7… 6… “Yes?” 5… 4… “I am sure you will achieve that goal, and to guarantee that, I give you my blessings.” 3… “What?” 2… “Enjoy your time in Road Builder.” 1… ********* Please point out if you notice any mistakes so that I can fix it. Also, because I re-edit this a lot so the chapters are going to come out very slowly(and because the blue tables take a while to do). Any comments and reviews are welcomed and are appreciated! Thanks for reading!

Bleen Fada - The Legendary Pathfinder
It had been decades since dreams started to kill. Today, it's finally over.Mahon was once a general and an impressive warrior. In his dreams. In Nightmare. There, he put an end to the war that plagued mankind for decades. In the real world, however, the war has been raging for millenia, and Mahon is weak, his body frail from all his years spent dream-fighting. But it's time for a new beginning. In a world he knows almost nothing about, he will struggle to climb back to power, a necessity if he wants to achieve his goal. But he doesn’t lack willpower. And he already reached the highest ranks before. Who is to say he can’t do it again? That is, if the Fada let it be… This story takes place in a medieval fantasy world. Swords and schemes are the common ways to assert your place among the powerful. This story follows Mahon on his journey back to power. Not a simple one, as he will uncover some of the deepest mysteries that had been buried deep down along the ages. As of now, 98% of my chapters are through Mahon’s PoV and I want to keep it that way. There will be no unending PoV swaps for multiple chapters. Although war/conflict is one of the main themes, it’s not really a story about war. Instead, expect fights, plots, foreshadowing, progression and adventure from these chapters. It’s my first time publishing a book, and English is not my native language. I hope you will enjoy the story and that you’ll be indulgent enough to point out my mistakes with kindness. I wish to grow as a better writer and provide something that will make you cheer for, and shiver in anticipation. As long as you’re not, it means there is something to improve. Note: It's a slow progression fantasy, and some have raised complaints about the depressing tones and slowness in some of the first chapters. Rest assured, it soon disappears as Mahon progresses.
