《World Of Elite》Chapter 39- Advent of the Dragon: Tenma!

Big, voluptuous wing spread open, covering the eerie red sky. A Sharp, razor-like claw dug its way on the highest building of the city as though it was its natural place. Thick, blasphemous horns protruded through the beast's head adorning it with a majestic feeling. Yet, only doom was transmitted to all living things present to witness the advent.
A dragon. A creature of ancient times always associated with dread, destruction, and calamities. And, like a hunter looking at his prey, the beast seized the Elite with its deep crimson eye.
Paralyzed, no one could muster the will to move. Faced with that imposing frame, the human trembled, stumbled down on the ground, and let go of their weapon. Nevertheless, no one dared to let out a noise, afraid to attract the beast's attention.
[Hmph!] The dragon let out, satisfied with the reaction before letting out a deafening roar, enveloping the entire city in despair.
It was at that time, that a heroic-like figure moved. When everyone was stuck in fear on the ground, 'she' alone moved, advanced, and ran forward. Fear had disappeared from her eyes, replaced by an unknown determination. And before long, she leaped on a roof adjacent to the Dragon's building.
Just like a fairy-tail described, her dark long, silky hair danced in the air announcing her presence. The mask on her face, unfortunately, prevented anyone from seeing her expression but, the Dragon picked her killing intent for a long while now.
A weak, little girl of this world stood firm and faced the imposing creature of another. Despite the difference in frame, however, a fight was unavoidable. And, exactly like a hero having brandished her sword, Rin jumped.
She kicked the ground with all her strength, creating a crater in her tracks as she instantly arrived before the Dragon's terrifying head. Unfortunately, the sword she had swung couldn't even pierce through the beast's thick scale. A loud ringing sound was all the sword could produce, making Rin's hand tremble from the vibration.
[...Pitiful!]
A disappointed voice rang inside the girl's ears as she was still planning in midair. Then, before she could do anything else, a large, pointy claw was already in front of her. Still, before the blow could connect, Rin had the small leeway to guide the point of impact. A small movement, yet backed with careful calculation, all for the sake of being blown toward a specific person. Raven
She coughed a small tinge of blood, and were she to smash against the ground at the insane speed she was thrown at, no doubt she would be out for the rest of the fight. That's why—
“Now isn't the time to be afraid.”
—she prayed for the other black-haired girl to wake up from the dragon's paralysis and catch her.
A good decision, considering the small time she had to take it and, evidently the correct one, seeing as a shadow hand immediately softened her fall. She still felt a small impact, of course, but nothing she couldn't deal with.
Moreover, her action, having acted as the impetus, made the wheel of time resume inside the city. The monster visibly being the quicker one to move attacked the few Elite without mercy. Fortunately, the more strong-willed humans managed to regain their sense to protect their wick-willed comrades.

A huge chain reaction ensued, macking each person paralyzed out of fear to take their arms once again. Nothing was decided yet, and even if it was, the Elite had the duty to protect the citizens. To protect their loved ones.
‘We can't lose here, guys.’
Holder's words remained stuck on everyone's mind, making them breach the barrier of fear. And so, round two began in earnest with each human still alive. Moreover, the previous three standby player Lia, Raven, and Winter regained their sense and were now ready to fight back.
And the one who engaged first was Raven. Shadow engulfed her surrounding before taking the shape of four giant spears pointed toward the giant lizard. With just a flick of her small finger, the spear rotated on themselves making even the air vibrate.
Then, with her glare pointed at her opponent—
“..Bang.”
—She softly imitated the sound of a gun and launched her attack.
The black spear pierced through the air with an insane precision while letting a dreadful aura. Raven had only one objective. To skewer the dragon in pieces. Unfortunately, her attack wasn't enough to fulfill it.
With the semblance of a smirk on its inhuman face, the flying monster just spread his immense pair of wings to cover the sky. And as a counterattack, he swung them with a tremendous amount of strength generating a powerful gust of wind. The spear of shadow veered off course as a result and avoided his giant frame.
[Was that all?] He asked proudly, having felt nothing.
However, that arrogance was a great mistake. Without his awareness, a blue-haired girl was already in front of him, despite the fact there was no standing ground there. Just air and a thirty-meter distance above the road that made the city.
One could only imagine how much strength Lia needed to jump straight to the dragon without taking any detour like Rin did. Though, that didn't matter right now. What mattered was the fluctuating energy present inside Lia's hand.
The monster barely had the time to react before the frail, human hand punched him straight on the head. And what further surprised him was the fact that not only did it hurt him, his face was even bent to the right as a result.
“How about that?!” Lia expressed, her hands trembling from the recoil of her shockwave.
Still, she didn't grow arrogant like the monster did. Her face paled seeing her attack didn't do more damage seeing as she used both her Aura and her singularity at the same time.
Nevertheless, her mind couldn't wander around too much as her body began to freefall toward the ground. A motion the dragon couldn't approve. His draconic head recovered its initial position in an instant and already made its way to devour the blue-haired girl.
His putrid breath entered Lia's nostril, which made her wince in horror. The wind caressed her back with much more weight than usual assuring her she was indeed falling. Nonetheless, she could tell with one glance her speed was not enough. The disgusting pointy teeth of the monster would crush her before she could reach the ground.

Thus, she gathered energy in her hand once more in an attempt to use her singularity. But, unfortunately—
‘—I won't make it.’
She clenched her teeth in frustration, a wide-open mouth directly in front of her. The fight had just begun yet, here she was already facing death. It couldn't be said to be the greatest thing she had done, especially after she said they couldn't lose.
Lia closed her eyes, bringing her hand up to shield herself. Her singularity wouldn't make it in time but if she concentrated on her Aura then maybe she could make it out alive. Clinging to that hope, the bright blue halo that covered her body began to shine even more.
‘Bring it!’ She said in her mind, brimming with determination.
A determination that was crushed—no, more like rendered useless by the intervention of a white-haired girl. Out of nowhere, Winter pierced through the air almost as fast as Raven's spear and dragged Lia out of the dragon's range. However, opposed to what you'd expect, she didn't return down to the ground and instead continued to fly upward.
[Puny human!] The dragon shouted, a little frustrated his prey got away. And in his frustration, he gave chase by using his wing.
“So those aren't just for show, huh.” Winter gave a wry smile in response, having reached the maximum height she could attain using the singularity of wind.
She held Lia in her arms in a typical 'princess carry', and faced the big lizard while maintaining her flight. Nevertheless, even as the monster approached, she remained comfortable in her position.
A cunning action, considering she, too, was stricken with fear at the beginning.
“Bring it on!” Then, borrowing Lia's words, she gathered a torrent of air in front of her.
Torrent who engulfed the dragon's body in a matter of seconds. Not without difficulty though. Winter closed her eyes with a frown, concentrating on her attack. Seconds after seconds passed but for her, it seemed like much more time advanced. And yet, the dragon slowly made its way out of the tornado and continued to fly upward.
Which wasn't what Winter wanted. Still, when things got bad, she had no other choice but to throw Lia's body away. A cruel act, maybe, but still the correct one. Falling toward the ground was better than being chased by a mythological creature.
A bead of sweat formed on Winter's forehead when the dragon made its way out of the mass of Wind. She knew she was slower so there was no point in running, especially since the dragon was bound to have more experience in flying.
In less than five minutes, Winter already switched place from Lia's previous situation. In some way, it was very laughable. In other, it showed just how much power the dragon possessed.
However, contrarily to Lia, Winter didn't believe one bit she was going to die. Mainly because, from her place, she had a good view of what was happening all over the city. Her eyes were specifically focused on Raven and the two black hands the girl had launched at her—no, at the dragon.
Right before the giant monster could open her mouth to eat Winter, his tail was grabbed by the shadow hands. The white-haired girl couldn't help but smile as she saw a clear form of frustration on the dragon.
[Damn Huma—!]
Moreover, this time's attack seemed to be the most effective one.
“Annoying...” From below on the road, Raven made a pulling motion with her two hands, a frown on her face. “...Monster.”
And would you believe it, the dragon was effectively brought closer and closer to the ground from its tail. Winter didn't stay idle either, of course. Seeing Raven having difficulty, she continued using the wind to attack her opponent. She even copied Raven's black spear by forming one from air.
However, as the dragon was showered in more and more attack, he grew irritated. Although no one could see it, surely a vein should have popped on his forehead. And if his restless movements weren't any indication, the deafening roar he let out was.
[Puny small fry!] He shouted. [Don't think one second I was serious yet!]
And with those words, the dragon enveloped himself in his wings, protecting him from the wind attack and forcefully tearing away the black hand that clung to his tail. Though, unfortunately, that was not all.
An ominous feeling struck Winter, making her inadvertently stop moving.
In the instant after that, the dragon liberated his wings along with a devasting shockwave. A shockwave, similar if not stronger than the one at the beginning of the fight.
And this time, building—numerous buildings began to crumble down to dust. The city was wrapped in an oppressing aura immediately, striking the weaker one in fear yet again. Moreover, to further induce despair, the dragon let out his most fearsome roar. A roar filled with his energy, thus a roar that was lethal to others.
Goblins and monsters of the same rank imploded gruesomely, filling the city with blood while some of the Elite let outcry of agony as red liquid flew down their ears. A horrifying sight to the eyes.
The dragon let out a satisfied breathe when things returned to silence. 'This should teach them their place.’ he thought, flapping his wing a little more weakly to stay in the air.
However, his thought was proven wrong instantly by the presence of a certain girl standing on his nose.
“Whether you're serious or not doesn't matter,” Rin said, sword in one hand. “You're going to die here.”
Blood splurted around and a crimson red eye was pierced. This time, it was the dragon who let out an agonizing cry.

The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.
