《Killing [Gods] With My Sister》Chapter: 18

The last [Dungeon] boss took a selfless offensive posture, and roaring and drooling, it slashed blindly with its huge claws: my wolves were split in multiple parts in just an instant, and while Hunah escaped, she then displayed two bloody cuts across her chest and legs.
“Shit”, I cursed. I had no idea what kind of summon would work against the overpowered beast, but anything was better than standing still, doing nothing: “[Summon: Utahraptor]”, a pair of man-sized [Level: 20] dinos were birthed from green flames, my magic, and dashed towards the bigger monster.
“Fuck, I won’t be able to avoid its attacks with my legs like this… Bow!”, Hunah screamed, and I obliged, conjuring her the ranged weapon and a full quiver.
“Better you crit all your hits, because I’m almost out of [Magic]”, I warned. Seeing my [Utahraptors] jumping over the 3rd floor boss, slashing and biting, and getting my hopes high. Just so the [(D - boss) Megatherium] could, literally, crush this expectation under its paws. “[Summon: Megalonyx]”, I called for a pair of [Level: 18] of the nerfed versions of the boss; who knew? Maybe it would get emotional or something. “Okay, now I am out of [Magic]; all I can do, is summon one more weapon and that is it.”
The monster had less than half of its [Heath Points] when it entered its enraged state already, and my previous two summons, plus Hunah’s arrows, had depleted the thing even more of its remaining [HP], but…
In its simpleminded state, the boss ignored Hunah to pursue my summons, but the boss quickly dealt with them, biting one of my monsters in half, and brushing another beyond the arena limits, and to many meters of free fall. If I had just a little more [Magic] and/or stronger summons, I may have been able to distract the thing for long enough so Hunah could shot it dead. But I didn’t, and her arrows had been all shot already.

“Sorry, bro: I didn’t get all critical attacks.”
“Hunah! Run!”, I screamed, a cold feeling settling inside my heart.
“Oh, I’d run if I could”, my sister said, as she dropped the conjured arrow, and lowered her body, as if prepared to fight with her own nails and teeth if necessary.
What? Her leg wound… was it this bad?!
[Warning! Condition: 1/3 met! Analyzing potential to unlock secret spell...]
The boss was disgustingly moving towards her, ignoring me, apparently not even recognizing my existence.
“SIS!”, I cried louder, dashing for her; if she couldn’t run, I’d carry both of us!
The coldness inside my beating heart grew intenser, hurtful, damaging my mind more than any physical wound since that day when I was sacrificed.
[Warning! Condition: 2/3 met! Analyzing potential to unlock secret spell...]
As the 3rd floor boss finally reached my sister, while I pushed my legs beyond their limits, pulsing veins popping under my skin, I was grinding my teeth with such a strength, that my gums started to bleed. I wouldn’t reach her in time!
[Warning! Conditions not met, unlocking of secret spell failed.]
“Come at me, you piece of shit!”, Hunah screamed, and the gigantic monster attacked with a claw; the other ones passing above her head.
She turned to face the incoming natural blade, and answered with her own attack, a single uppercut, hitting the nail right on its flat side with her fist, and, surprisingly, breaking the thing off.
The boss screamed and retreated the paw with the bleeding finger back, attacking again with the reaming front paw. Hunah’s hit wasn’t without a cost, though, and by the messy state of her right hand, she wouldn’t be able to pull of the same trick again.
And she didn’t, but grabbed the broken nail from the air, and dug it by her side, using it as a wall against which the nails from the second slash all split and broken off too.

Only then, I finally reached my sister, putting myself between her and the monster who possessed yet just a few [Health Points] remaining… and a mouth full of enormous teeth.
“BRO, FORGET ME AND RUN!”, Hunah screamed from behind me, the terror clear in her voice.
“NO!”, even if I managed to attain our revenge, what would be the point if I lost her?
There was no time to grab Hunah and escape, like I originally intended, for when I reached my sister, the monster’s jaws were already open over us; and then covered the entirety of my world, blackening everything, only teeth, and a gaping maw remaining.
What could I do? What could I do?!
I could only summon one more weapon.
“[SUMMON: FAKE SPEAR!]”, I conjured with a shout, thrusting my remaining good hand straight into the monster’s open mouth.
It took only a second for the powerful jaws to close, and they did so with such a strength that shards of teeth flew away, and the wind produced by the movement alone was enough to shake all the highest branches of the tree we stood on.
My arm had been completely cut off, as if it hadn’t ever been connected to me in the first place, effortlessly.
“Grraahnn- Graaah!”, I screamed, for even my high pain resistance wasn’t perfect, blood gushing from the remaining stump at the same accelerated rhythm as my heart was beating.
And the corpse of the 3rd floor boss fell with a booming “THUMP!”
There wasn’t a visible signal of the impaled spear that pierced the monster’s brain, hitting it critically and finishing its remaining [HP], but the [(D - boss) Megatherium] had definitely been defeated, for a bunch of pop ups that I couldn’t care less gave me many congratulations.
“BRO!”, Hunah screamed, pulling me closer and hugging me. She stared, horrified, at my removed limb, not knowing exactly what to do.
“[Dungeon Heal!]”, the already familiar sapient green box showed up once again, and a warm light shone over me, retarding the blood loss, until it stopped completely. Only then, it started to recover my [Health Points].
“Incute! Please”, my sister begged, for what the floating green screen passed to display:
“[Don’t worry, friend! I can’t have the first people to complete my adventure to die right after killing the last boss!]”
Even under the healing, though, my contentiousness was slipping away, it was harder and harder to stay awake. I could only grasp fractions of the conversation between my sister and the [Dungeon]:
[“I’m sorry, but just like an archer can’t stop its arrow after shot, I couldn’t…”]
“No, Incute, it’s not your fault…”
“[…Loot? Liked it? I don’t know if it’s good enough to kill a [God], but…]”
Hm? What was that? I had barely any strength remaining inside of me, just the little bit the [Dungeon] healing gave me, but, something in that last conversation part remembered me of… Of course!
“[Di- Dissection...]”, I conjured, gathering all of my remaining will, and forced my muscles and bones to obey me, even if they really had already gone beyond their limits, and it was a miracle in itself that I was still alive.
My sister and Incute laughed, as if that action had confirmed for sure that that wasn’t my last day in the realm of the living, and continued to talk.
“[Well, bye-bye then! Oh, and don’t worry: I won’t tell anyone that you had sex with your own blood-related brother here!]”
[Dissection succeeded; “Summon: Megatherium” unlocked! “Make Boss”, unlocked!
Warning! Due to the simultaneous possession of “Summoner Control (lvl. 5)”, and “Make Boss”, “Make General” has been unlocked!]
“Yeah, sur- Wait, what?! How do you know about that?!”
Hunah was getting angry at something that I really didn’t register, but I really didn’t care: I had unlocked the most badass creature of the [Dungeon].
I fainted with a smile.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels.
