HP: 1/800]
The impaling and subsequent fall of the tower reduced the [Health Points] of the magic-user considerably, but it didn’t seem to affect its destructive abilities a single bit, for the undead, whose clothes were in flames, exploded a huge crater where I was standing just a second ago with a single electric blast, fragmented rocks flying everywhere, and even piercing my skin here and there, and completely tearing off my right little finger.
Differently from the hit the 3rd king used against my strongest summon, however, that blast was a continuous lightning arc coming from its fingers that followed me around, and with a leg hurt, I was bound to get hit and die for sure, if it wasn’t for my twin sister, who threw the summoned spear against the magic-user.
While Hunah’s attack didn’t cause any damage, it forced the magic-user to let me go, so it could put up an electric shield; which shattered the weak [Fake Spear] upon contact immediately.
“Fuck, I have no more magic”, I said, as I looked around for anything that could be useful.
“And I couldn’t possibly climb a tower carrying that huge flail around”, Hunah replied, closing her hand into fists. Still, she dashed forward; having watched my struggle from beginning to end, for sure aware I couldn’t really fight by her side.
My sister was fast, she dodged a magical lightning shot against her, jumped over the trapped cracking ground covered in a jungle of slithering white electricity, and even dashed under a wave of elemental death provoked by our enemy; the [Thunder Idolater]’s attacks crushing rock and annihilating the scenery behind her every time.
When Hunah put the magic-user in arms reach, however, this last one pulled its arms closer to its chest, and covered itself under a blanket of power, becoming untouchable. Hunah stopped midway through her attack, her feet dragging clouds of dust from the ground as she tried to stop her move, and pull the punch back: her fists stopped at just a centimeter away from the cage around our enemy, the wind moved by the canceled attack even putting off the flames from the burning clothes of the mummy.

Then, the magic-user started to spread its arms away once again, and its cage expanded.
“Fuck”, Hunah cursed, as she struggled a backward jump. She wouldn’t make it, she was too close to the [Thunder Idolater] when this last one started its attack.
I didn’t think twice, but pulled my arm back, and hurled the long copper axe.
The blade sunk into the old stone tower, and pulled in all the energy from the expanding electrical cage to itself and away from Hunah, the metal instantly becoming bright white, and proceeding to explode, covering the entire battlefield in flaming melted copper.
Hunah protected herself with her horned cape, but even then a few hot pieces touched her fingers, face, and feet.
“Ank…”
“I’m sorry, but I couldn’t do anything el-”
“Do it again”, my sister interrupted me, brushing off the scorching metal, and jumping against the magic-user one more time.
I immediately started to look around, for anything I could use to repeat the deed, and ran around collecting the copper daggers, thongs, and shovel from before, all the while Hunah kept pressuring the enemy until it was forced to repeat the lightning-cage movement. Seriously, did that thing had unlimited [Magic]?
I hurled the next item just in time, and not different from before, it called for all the energy before exploding in a million flaming hot fragments.
Hunah advanced a third time, but the magic-user still had [Magic] in excess to burn, and we repeated the process again and again; even with our high pain resistance, I winced as I noticed my sister running barefooted, her boots having long ago burned away, as she stepped into an increasing number of pools of melted metal; through our [Party] connection, I saw her [HP] and [SP] quickly decreasing as time went by.

Then, I finally hurled my last copper item. The dagger spun, calling for all the lightning directed at Hunah, as it started to shine more and more. It dug itself in the wall of the tower and exploded violently, disappearing as our only defense against the electrical attack. The undead seemed to spare me a glance. And smirked, suddenly bursting even more power, mockingly displaying its huge reserves of [MP].
As the monster turned to face my sister again, however, it finally noticed that she was already far away, and still running. For we finally finished exploding an entire section of the tower, and the building was falling down, and right over the battlefield.
The confident expression on the monster’s face turned into a horrified one, as it turned away from the incoming tower, but as something that seemed to have invested all of its points into [Magic], it wasn’t nearly as fast as the other mummies. And the last thing it saw, was my lips curling into a smirk not different from the one it had given me just a second ago.
“BOOOM!”, the tower collapsed right over the 3rd layer king, crushing it to a single dimension.
[You leveled up!]
[You leveled up!]
[You leveled up!]
[...]
“Ah~ revenge”, I couldn’t hold the smile back, as I rested my hands on my hips, took a deep breath and looked skywards. “Yep, it feels quite good.”
“I hope so”, Hunah said, seating down, and avoiding touch her feet on the ground. “Because, if I didn’t dream every night about wearing the [Gods]’ entrails as a scarf, I’d kill myself right here and now”, her voice was just as tranquil as her expression, but sweat dripped visibly from her, as Hunah held her carbonized feet up, even bone visible here and there.
“…I’m gonna see if there was anything to treat this inside the tower”, I said, walking to the rubble. “Oh, yeah”, I noticed a leathery hand showing up the collapsed tower. “[Dissection]”.
