Everything within this post will be explained as the story progresses and this should only be referenced for a more in depth explanation. I haven't put the spoilers in a hidden container, as I don't feel that they are big spoilers, so be cautious before continuing.

-System Levels-

System levels correspond to standard cultivation and act as training wheels for humanity to understand the cultivation system using a commonly known human concept. These become largely irrelevant later in the story and will only be used to give a more detailed understand of the characters current strength.

25 system levels = 1 cultivation level

100 system levels = 1 cultivation stage

-Cultivation Levels & Stages-

Standard cultivation is broken up into stages, and levels within those stages. Each stage is composed of 4 minor levels numbered 1-4 with the higher number being stronger.

4 Levels = 1 stage

some levels have minor bottlenecks, and each stage has a major bottleneck, with the exception of the entirety of the first stage.

-Altaris-

Altaris is the energy source. It allows cultivators to achieve miraculous feats, and is capable of being converted into other energy types. This energy can be used to create spells, nourish the body, and mimic the elements.

-Altar-

The Altar is a supernatural organ that generates Altaris.

-Paths-

Paths correlate to the classes. All of the classes converge into 2 paths, Warrior and Mage. Warriors use Altaris to nourish the body and increase their physical abilities. Mage's harness Altaris to create all kinds of spells and perform magical feats.
