《Semi-Powerful Underling》The End, for now...

I've been thinking about doing this a for a while now, but I think I'm taking a hiatus from the book for a long time.
Yes, I know, that scentence make a lot of you a little sad, although, my analytics say that only like 20 people have read this far anyway, and the majority of readers don't make it past the first 12 chapters anyway, and there in lies my first reason.
I do believe the first couple chapters are decent introductions, but they are riddled with underlying issues that would require hours and hours of fixing, and after wrapping up the second draft, I feel incapable of doing something like that again. It would require fixing so much, I didn't even realize how deep these roots go, since if I move one thing back, a bunch of other shit has to be changed in the future.
Then there's the mess all over the book. My notes are a fucking nightmare. The worst I've ever had on any writing project ever. Hands down, without a doubt. For an example, I have just like 30 or something scetences of just different events that have happened, will happen, or have been written about. This was make sure I remember the specific details on these events so I could draw from those things to create interesting moments and see how characters would react. It worked, but it's a fucking mess.
In turn, this mess translated perfectly into Quincy's journey. The first couple chapters are a fucking fetch quest for Pete's sake! And the web of things is so confusing for me, and I assume even more confusing for someone who can't draw from my trashcan of randomness that is my notes doc.
So, with all that said, my rating is also dropping, despite recieving multiple reviews recently (two of them were wholeheartedly negative), and I'm killing myself slowly staying up late trying to make edits and write new stuff while keeping up with my release schedule.

It's time to stop.
What does that mean though? Will Semi-Powerful Underling make a return? I sure as fuck left you guys with a bunch of questions in the story with Thursday's flashback chapter. The short answer is maybe. It'll be a long time, since I need a break from this story, since I can't take it anymore. Quincy is sure a fun character to write, but I also fucking hate writing him. It's hard to say, but his narration has to be filled with jokes, due to his sarcasm. it's just the way he talks, but I definitely know it ruins emotional scenes. But, Quincy aside, this is just a lot of stress to write anything in this book, due to my dumpster of notes.
So I need a do over. I need a new project. It's overwhelming, I'm tired, you are tired obviously. So I will write this book off as a massive success, but also a learning experience, and move on to my next project. It will be here on Royal Road, without a doubt. I've not writen a bunch of it yet, but, it's gonna be good. I promise, it at the very least wont have this mountain of notes I have to deal with. It will also have a slower upload schedule, once a week. It will probably have longer chapters instead though.
It's been a journey with you guys, and I've met so many nice people. I've also met a bunch of assholes, but that's the internet. I'm glad we reached rank 5000 peak, and even though it's only gonna drop from there, I feel proud of this, and hope one day I'll feel capable of coming back with a fresh mind.
I just wrote half a chapter of jargon, have fun reading through it lmfao
See you in the future.
