The Legendary Rebuilding of a World by a Realist Demon King Chapter 4
A Cup of Tea and a Strategy
There was an extravagant desk and chair that I had not noticed before.
I sat down and waited for some time until Eve returned. She was pushing a silver cart to carry the tea.
The pot had hot water inside, and tea leaves were added in front of me and then she poured a cup.
The cup itself had been warmed, and the perfect temperature and amount of the water poured resulted in a wonderful smell.
There was also lemon and milk, and I chose milk.
Three sugars.
A sweet and rich taste spread over my tongue.
She had not been wrong to brag about her service abilities, and her master’s tongue was well pleased.
Knowledgeable and very loyal.
Perhaps I really had received the best possible subordinate.
I finished the cup with satisfaction but stopped Eve before she could pour a second cup.
“Enough with the tea. It’s time to talk strategy.”
“That is well.”
Eve said with a low bow.
“Now that the Goddess is gone, I must rely on you, Eve.”
“Use me without reserve. I will die if you command it. And attend you at night if you wish.”
“You really do have the loyalty skill. You would volunteer your own life.”
Still, I continue.
“I am not so low to ask that. I am quite sure of it anyway, so you should focus on being my secretary.”
“Certainly.”
She nodded without the slightest change in expression.
“Hmm, back to the subject at hand. The Goddess said that I should expand this castle. But I will need materials to do that. How is our stock?”
“Limited. We can not rely on it for long.”

“Then I should try to increase those materials first.”
“I agree.”
“Is there a way?”
“You could build a new farm in the castle. Expand the castle town, increase the population, and raise taxes. Summon an army, have them gather or plunder. Those would be the conventional methods.”
“I suppose the last option would be the fastest.”
“Yes.”
“Currently, this castle is all but defenseless. So it is necessary to start with an army. Yes, I have decided. I will create a great army.”
“That is very good, master.”
“I would usually care about quality over quantity, but we need numbers right now. I want to build an unshakable army corp.”
“An army corp?”
“Yes. One to strike fear into the hearts of the other Demon Kings, and make them think twice before attacking.”
“Then you must use good materials, and will it.”
“Very well. Bring me the materials.”
“Certainly.”
She left to bring the materials.
Several minutes later, what was laid out on the desk were:
Mandragora
Light Scarab
Ash Tree
Leaves of the World Tree
Mysterious Bone
Etcetera.
I combined these and tossed them into the pot.
The combinations were my inspiration. In other words, random. But there was apparently little use in thinking too hard when it came to the summoning ritual. Of course, the monsters did change depending on the materials, but the recipes could have different results.
You could not recreate the same monster by using the same ingredients.
You would have to test it many times and base it off your own experiences.
First, I put the Mysterious Bone and Mandragora into the pot.
I willed it as the magic flowed from me.
I thought of my ideal army.
What I required for it was an undefeatable will and the ability to inspire dread.

I would need persevering soldiers to embody that.
The strength to move forward even when their allies were falling.
A toughness to fight even when you are wounded.
I felt that that might be too much to ask for goblins and orcs. And so I envisioned skeleton soldiers. And that imagination took shape.
Smoke rose from the pot and letters appeared.
RARITY: Bronze Rare ★
Race: Undead, Skeleton Warrior
Job: Warrior
Fighting Power: 82
Skill: Regeneration
Bleached white bones came out of the pot.
They rattled and combined to form the shape of a human.
When carrying a sword and shield, they looked like impressive warriors.
A Skeleton Warrior.
Their fighting power was lower than even my secretary, Eve, but their numbers made up for it. There were 30 in all. I wasn’t sure how I should calculate it yet, but in the simplest of terms, 82 x 30 equaled a total of 2460 fighting power.
I knew that they would serve me well, but they could not talk.
“…”
“…”
“…”
Having 30 skeletons stare at you at once could become awkward, and so I decided to give my first order. 10 would be stationed in the Demon Castle. 10 would be sent to the Castle Town to stand guard. The other 10 would stay with me.
I would use them as a task force for gathering materials and invasions.
Still, 10 was a lonely number. It was not enough.
I would have to summon more monsters.
I thought.
I tossed the Ash Tree and Leaves of the World Tree into the pot.
This time, I did not think of anything.
I could not imagine what could come from wood and leaves.
But I did want soldiers.
And soldiers was what I got.
Rarity: Silver Rare ★★
Race: Wood Golem
Job: Golem Warrior
Fighting Power: 322
Skill: None
An especially large cloud of smoke rose from the pot and filled the room.
When the smoke disappeared, there were 3 huge Wood Golems standing there.
They could not talk either, so there were no ‘nice to meet you’s,’ but they did follow my orders.
“This is wonderful. To make such strong golems, very good, my master.”
Eve praised with abandon.
“I now have my soldiers. Next, I must gather materials. And as a realist, I will use crafty methods to do it.”
“That is a splendid idea.”
Eve bowed. Her white headdress lowered.
She looked quite cute in that maid outfit.

Embrace the Blade
Born crippled, it was no surprise when James Ransom died young, but he was offered an opportunity - a mission: to go to a new world and become strong enough to kill the hidden boss behind the final boss. Now in a new world he must research and study the system to take advantage of it, find his strengths; form alliances and find party members to become strong enough to face the end. This story does use Multiple perspectives and tells stories that add to the MC's. I've been given this feedback enough that I feel the need to mention that growth (levels, skills, classes, etc.) is slow, intentionally so, but constant. Credit for the cover goes to a commission for KemptBones from DeviantArt for the cover. This book is a rewrite of the original Embrace the Blade. The timeline for this one is completely separate and you do not need to read the original to understand what is going on. If you want to check out the original you can find it here (just a warning that they are NOT good): ETB Drafts 1&2 If you came here from the original EtB, WELCOME!!

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
