The Legendary Rebuilding of a World by a Realist Demon King Chapter 59
Adventurers Party
Just as we were about to enter the dungeon, we saw a group of people up ahead of us.
More bandits?
Hanzo put his hand on his sword, but I stopped him.
“They do not seem like villains. But perhaps not quite saints either.”
It was a party of men and women who were Adventurers.
About five of them.
They were armed with long swords, short swords, bows, plate mail, leather mail, chain mail etcetera.
As for us, we must have looked like a very strange group of different races.
And we were ignored. All kinds came to this dungeon, it seemed.
I was going to ignore them as well, but then their conversation entered my ears.
“Now, let’s go down there and search for the treasure.”
The man who appeared to be their leader said. The others shouted in approval.
But there was one, who was almost a boy, who muttered weakly.
“…Uh…um… We are going to search for this ‘drifted relic,’ right?”
“What’s this now? We’ve talked about it many times over.”
“Yes. But I’ve heard that many other parties like us have tried to find it as well. And they’ve all died.”
“Yuri. Is that all it takes to scare you? What a wimp.”
The leader laughed. The others followed.
“Yuri, you’ve always been a weakling.”
“You should go home and suck on your mother’s breasts if you’re so scared.”
“You’ll be in charge of the baggage then, you coward.”
And so they all forced him to carry their things.
Eve watched this and said,
“Tormenting the weak is a popular game in any world.”
She sighed.
Jeanne looked liked like she wanted to say something, but I stopped her.

“We don’t need any trouble. Besides, you two are no different than the rest of them. You are underestimating the boy.”
“Underestimating?”
“Yes. Of course, this drifted relic will be ours. But that boy, Yuri, is the bravest one in that party.”
“Surely not? That stick of a child?”
“Well, we’ll just have to see. I am sure that something very interesting is going to happen.”
I declared. And with that, we entered the dungeon.
According to Hanzo’s information, the drifted relic was supposed to be on the fifth layer of this underground labyrinth.
There would be a vast shallow lake that went up to your knees there. A world of glimmering blue color.
‘That’s beautiful,’ Jeanne whispered dreamily. But we would first have to get passed the first layer.
The first layer was relatively small, but that meant it was harder to avoid the monsters.
Giant bats.
Horn rabbits.
Blue slimes.
The usual monsters.
Of course, none of them were any real threat to us. But Jeanne seemed puzzled.
“Demon King. As these are all monsters. Shouldn’t they be your friends?”
“Demons and monsters are not exactly alike.”
It was a good time to explain this to her.
“Demons are the strongest of monsters and must have intelligence. They also must be humanoid.”
“I see.”
“Most monsters are not humanoid. But even ones that are, such as orcs and goblins, they are still monsters because of their low intelligence.”
“Yes, orcs are such fools.”
She added that she had taught an orc to add numbers recently and was treated as a prodigy.
She laughed.
I didn’t broach the subject of that being the extent of Jeanne’s knowledge in mathematics, as she looked quite smug.
“Well, there are all kinds of monsters. Some live in forests and dungeons while others serve demon kings.”

“Hmm. So most are wild then.”
“I suppose, yes. Wild monsters. It would not be impossible to make them yield to me through magic, but it’s hardly worth the trouble.”
“Why?”
“Because it would cost me a lot of energy. It would be easier to just gather materials and summon them.”
“Hmm.”
“Try imagining a wild wolf. It would be difficult to tame one, but not so hard if you had it since it was a pup? It is much the same.”
“So as long as you create them, they will be loyal from the beginning?”
“Exactly. Of course, they are not perfectly loyal dogs. And they might bite you. But it’s still easier than taming a wild wolf.”
“Now I understand. You are very good at explaining things. Perhaps you should be a teacher.”
“Thank you.”
It was not the worst suggestion.
Once the world was united and I could go into hiding. I might just take on a different identity and open a school in some small village.
There, children that were smart like Eve,
Arrogant boys like Toshizou,
And idiots like Jeanne would study every day.
As I mused on this, the second layer came into view.
We would finally be able to go down.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.

Shadow Falls
If you wanted to protect someone you loved, how far would you go, and what would you be willing to sacrifice? This question is at the core of this emotional rollercoaster of the book, Shadow Falls: the Rise and Fall of Erida VanIsle. This book emerged from four years of collaborative storytelling centering on the main character, Erida VanIsle, written by author Myra VanIsle. In this book, VanIsle goes beyond the events that led to Erida's sacrifice and explores forty-five years of the cost she paid to protect the sister she loved more than life itself. Shadow Falls explores the family tragedy which led to the separation of two sisters on completely different paths polar opposite of each other. While Erida set upon a path of darkness and power, Myra set out to be a beacon of light and hope bringing justice and peace to others. Be warned, the story VanIsle tells is dark and not easy, because you can't have the light without the dark.
