However, his body was still too slow to react, and he failed to move the finger sleeve and activate the E·I Force Field in time .

Silence filled the swimming complex momentarily .

Everyone subconsciously closed their mouths as they looked at Chen Yu’s position .

Stretching out his trembling hand, Chen Yu wiped off the blood on his forehead . With bated breaths, he muttered, “Little…”

“M-Mr . Chen… Are you alright?”

“Little Peach…”

“Cough…” Coughing out a mouthful of blood, Little Peach first looked at the massive hole in her belly . She then glanced at Xing Biqi, who was staring back at her with an open mouth . Lastly, she looked toward Chen Yu and said hoarsely, “I…I knew you were secretly going on a date with her . ”

“You…” Seeing Little Peach’s bone-chilling wound, Chen Yu felt his body grow cold . However, he immediately snapped out of his daze and activated the metallic finger sleeve .

The E·I Force Field instantly activated, illuminating the surrounding area in a dazzling array of colors . The force field’s deployment also shattered the ground underneath Chen Yu’s feet and sent rubble flying all around .

“What the freaking hell?!”

The young man sitting nearby couldn’t help but be thunderstruck by this situation, and he stumbled off of his chair in horror .

“T-Transdimensional’s UP…” Xing Biqi subconsciously held onto the nearby handrail . Although she had long since suspected Chen Yu to be Transdimensional’s UP, when the truth was revealed right before her eyes, she still couldn’t help but fall into a daze .

“It really is you!” Chen Yike’s spirit sharpened when she saw the E·I Force Field . She then looked toward Little Peach, who was lying limply on the ground, and mumbled to herself, “So, she’s Big Brother’s assistant?”

“Saiyan transforma—guruguru…” Chen Erke slowly sank into the water as she stared at Chen Yu in a daze .

Meanwhile, Chen Sanke swam toward the metal cylinder in confusion . “I-Is this a firecracker?”

“Third Eldest! Come back!”

After taking a long glance at Little Peach, who was lying on the ground and still looking at him, Chen Yu gritted his teeth and urged the E·I Force Field Forward . His entire person immediately transformed into a streak of light and instantly appeared between Chen Sanke and the metal cylinder .

The cylinder fired its second round . However, with the force field’s protection, the bullet was incapable of causing any harm to Chen Yu .

Chen Yu controlled the force field to move forward once more, advancing toward the unknown metal object .

Meanwhile, the metal cylinder that had fired off all of its rounds simply floated on the water’s surface quietly, its two infrared probes looking at Chen Yu intelligently .

Instinctively, Chen Yu was about to turn off the force field to grab the metal cylinder . He wanted to see what this object was and which country produced it . However, his conscious mind prevented him from doing so for fear that the other party would still have some other form of attack .

“You… We humans do not need you to rule over us . The w-world has its own rules of operation . It is best if you behave yourself . Otherwise, we…” the metal cylinder spoke in an electronically synthesized voice after seeing Chen Yu hiding within the force field’s protection for a long time .

“You can speak?” Narrowing his eyes, Chen Yu questioned, “Are you a robot? Which country made you?”

“Do…you think I will tell you?”

“Who are you people? With the technology I wield, nobody on this planet can hide from me . Just reveal yourself now and save me the trouble . ”

“We are not a lone individual . Neither are we a lone organization or country . ” The metal cylinder’s red eyes flashed . “We represent the world’s governments . This is a warning . No government in the world welcomes your existence . ”

After saying so, the metal cylinder suddenly heated up into a crimson red, and its outer shell rapidly expanded before exploding into a bundle of flames .

The smoke gradually dissipated .

With a grim look on his face, Chen Yu muttered, “It actually knows how to self-destruct . Just what is its origin…”

“Brother! C-Come look at this big sister quickly!”

Hearing this, Chen Yu immediately turned around and flew toward the pool’s edge . He then looked down at Little Peach, who looked to be on the verge of death .

Because of Chen Yu’s shout, the dumbfounded spectators inside the swimming complex also snapped out of their daze and began evacuating from the building in a panic .

Turning off the E·I Force Field, Chen Yu swiftly opened the waterproof bag in his hand and pulled out the Amnesia Bat from within it . His body then vanished from where he stood as he dashed around the building at lightning speed . In less than ten seconds, Chen Yu had knocked everyone within the building unconscious . As for those who still remained in the pool, he also dragged them up and knocked them unconscious .

“T-Transdimensional’s UP! You’re Transdimensional’s UP, right?!” The young man standing near Little Peach’s complexion paled when he saw Chen Yu approaching him . While slowly backing away from Chen Yu, he shouted, “I’m your loyal fa—”

Before the young man could finish speaking, the Amnesia Bat landed on his head . His eyes then rolled back as his body collapsed limply to the ground .

Tossing the Amnesia Bat away, Chen Yu walked up to Little Peach and crouched down, his eyes locked on the hole around her waist .

“Mr . Chen, a-are you alright…” Little Peach tried to raise her right hand . However, her attempt at doing so caused sparks to suddenly emerge from her abdomen .

“Will you die?” Chen Yu asked, getting straight to the point .

“You’re a robot, so you don’t have the concept of death, right?”

Lowering her head and looking at the exposed broken circuit boards and bio-assurance batteries, Little Peach manipulated her mouth muscles to contract upwards and said, “Even if I…I am a robot, I will still die…”

“Will you die, then?”

“…I will . ”

Hearing this, Chen Yu did his best to remain calm as he pulled out his phone . “I’ll contact the sales staff to take you back for repairs . ”

“That won’t be possible . ”

“Why?” Chen Yu’s hands stiffened .

“Only non-lifeforms c-can pass through the space-time wormhole . If robots w-wish to pass through it, they will have to shut down their motherboard and remove all traces of consciousness . Otherwise, they cannot be r-reconstructed . ”

“Then turn off your processor now!”

“…” Pursing her lips, Little Peach said, “My motherboard has already lost the ability to power down itself . My bio-batteries are also…destroyed… If I initiate a forced shutdown, I will…die . ”

After a moment of silence, Chen Yu picked up Little Peach and said, “We’re going home . I’ll store your memories using that Memory Storage Module while we wait for the other side to get you a replacement body . ”

“You’ve forgotten . ” Looking at Chen Yu’s chin in a daze, Little Peach said, “I told you before that my memory is composed of impulse…impulse signals . It cannot be stored as data . ”
