Chapter 268: 268
Several returned to the adventurer’s guild .
Zhou Jianhong put forward an invitation for mission cooperation . “Our adventure team recently took on a mission, but it was reluctant to complete it alone, and there may be damage . I would like to invite several people to cooperate, do you know what you want?”
He said, taking out a proof of mission .
Captain Fanglian took a look .
[Question: Collect a ‘Red Phosphorus Heart’ . 】
Explanation:
Reward: 80 points to 250 points (based on the strength of the red phosphorus beast), D3 level equipment redemption volume * 1 ~ 3
Zhou Jianhong explained, “The red phosphorus beast is a kind of demonized beast . It has four legs, is similar in shape to the previous elephant, and is covered with red-brown scales . The red phosphorus beast we found has six strengths of awakening . That ’s all, our adventure team can handle it . ”
“The problem is that there are still a lot of demonized beasts around the red phosphorous beast . Our adventure team is understaffed and we cannot deal with the red phosphorous beast while taking into account the surrounding demonized beasts . If we cooperate, we can make 50% Points reward, but we want all the equipment exchange vouchers, how about, this task has a very high yield . . . If you pick up the task yourself, it is difficult to grab high-yielding tasks, especially some adventure groups with many personnel, We arrange members every day to squat in the guild . We were also lucky to grab the “Red Phosphorus Heart” task . “
The square-faced man didn’t say anything for a while, and Zhou Jianhong was a little confused, so he heard the other party ask, “What does D3 level equipment mean?”
Zhou Jianhong: “!!!”
“You haven’t been in the Adventurers’ Guild yet?”
The square-faced man nodded .
“Sure enough,” said Zhou Jianhong, speechless, and he paused before saying, “In the shade, the equipment is clearly graded, of course, only recently . “

“For example, your Demon Sword is an E1 weapon, a definition given by the Association of Adventurers . E1 weapon refers to the sharpness that can easily break through the defense of one to three demonized beasts, and the damage to the weapon in the fierce battle is extremely high . low . “
” . . . In fact, the Devil Sword is enough to tear open the defense of the four and five demonized beasts, except that fighting with that demonized beast will cause a certain loss of weapons, in other words, the durability will fall faster . There must be a lot of demonized beasts across the hundreds of kilometers of wilderness, and E1 weapons will probably not be able to support you to reach your destination . “
“E-level weapons include E1E2E3 . E3 weapons can tear the defense of the five demonized beasts and have very low damage . Above E3, it is D-level . D-level also has subdivisions . Some D-level equipment can be used directly . Points are redeemable, and some valuables, such as D3 level equipment, require equipment redemption rolls . “
At this time, Zhou Jianhong said with a sigh of relief, “Under normal circumstances, it is not easy to exchange advanced rune equipment, but the business district will open in two days, you know?”
The square-faced man nodded .
Zhou Jianhong continued, “The business district is open, and some advanced rune equipment can be purchased only by Yuanjing . You should pay more attention at that time . This is one of the ways to get advanced rune equipment in a short period of time . “
“As for the second kind,” he said mysteriously . “According to the information I have received, Pyongyang wants to hold a contest, and you have just seen the platform . The auditorium is under construction . This contest is likely to be Held after the business district opened . Of course, this is not the key . The key is that the contest is only rewarded, and the rewards are extremely rich! “

Zhou Jianhong paused and saw that the square-faced man showed a very interested look, and then he continued to speak, “Because the news of the contest has not yet been officially announced, the specific rewards are uncertain, but the first place rewards, It is said to be a C-level rune weapon! C-level! “
“For this contest, Luyin apparently lost money, but unfortunately my strength is insufficient, C-class weapons are not my turn, but other rewards must be contested!”
After Zhou Jianhong finished speaking, there were several people with square faces, and he couldn’t calm down for a long time .
Before coming to Luyin, they did not have a clear concept of rune equipment, and even heard it for the first time .
However, after trying Devil . . . that is, E1 class weapon, they have a very intuitive understanding .
Like a square-faced man, he was not originally an opponent of a demonized beast at the same level . With the Devil Slayer, he was confident that he could slay the awakened five demonized beast at the cost of minor injuries . How terrible is E2E3, even D-Class?
Even if they haven’t seen it, they have fully used their imagination .
The first contest will be held in the first contest, but the rewards span two large levels and reach the C level!
The square-faced man thought deeper at this time . Since Luyin ranked the equipment from the E level to the A level, and could easily take out the C-level rune equipment, wouldn’t it represent . . .
He didn’t dare to imagine it .
No matter how you look at the Green Shade Shelter before, no matter how high you place it at the heart ~ www . novelhall . com ~ Now I want to come, it is still low .
For a time, he was both curious and admired, who was the founder of the shelter .
With this understanding, Captain Fanglian and the team members discussed for a while and decided to agree to Zhou Jianhong’s invitation to cooperate .
He guessed that the equipment to redeem the volume is more precious than the points . They can only take half of the points, and they seem to have lost a lot .
But the square-faced man is even more clear . The old green adventurer like Zhou Jianhong is far stronger than him, and he dares to hunt and awaken the six demonized beasts, which is the best proof .
Several people joined the Adventurers’ Guild . Under the guidance of Zhou Jianhong, Fanglianzi soon registered to establish a new adventure group .
-Registration does not cost a penny, and Captain Fanglian is not exclusive .
After the adventure group was established, Zhou Jianhong communicated with the staff and quickly printed out a new contract .
“This is a task-sharing contract,” he said . “The details of the rewards you receive after completing the mission are detailed . As for the reward distribution of each person in the adventure group, it is your own business . “
“Also, the missions notarized in the Adventurer’s Guild will always be recorded in the personal resume . For example, if the mission completion rate is low and the members lose a lot during the mission, their personal evaluation will be lowered . Once the resume is too bad, they may face future failures To the task . “
“This largely prevents the adventurers from fighting each other, and once the incidents that harm the teammates or partners are exposed, the adventurers themselves, or the team, will be sanctioned by the guild . “
After hearing this, Captain Fanglian finally felt relieved .
It’s not early today . After discussion, they decided to start hunting red phosphorus beasts tomorrow morning . Tonight, they need to be familiar with the equipment they just bought in advance . The battle tomorrow will not be easy .

The Laptop Hero (Portal/Isekai LitRPG)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - April 2022 Silas got summoned to another world—by a group of kids attending magic school who seemed rather unhappy with the results of their ritual. After a brief glimpse of his summoners Silas woke in the town dump. Unable to speak the local language, a misunderstanding escalated and before long Silas wound up in a jail cell, the locals having confiscated all his worldly possessions aside from his laptop, which had formed some strange bond with him. Now he can summon his laptop at will, and he can view his Status, level up, and gain powerful skills and magic as if he were some character in a video game, which is great and everything, but all Silas really wants to do is sit in a dark room and play games on his laptop. Only, life isn't a game, and Silas needs to get his act together because everyone else is playing for keeps. Or does he? Maybe for Silas life is just one big game now, with everyone else stuck playing by his rules. Assorted Disclaimers, in no particular order: I am only posting this on RoyalRoad.com, so if you find my story elsewhere it was not posted by me. Please do let me know! While I do consider this a progression fantasy, and have tagged it as such, Silas's Status improvements will not necessarily proceed in a linear fashion. His RPG stats will have ups and downs, exploits and nerfs, periods of growth and stagnation. Such is the life of a gamer, to be held under the thumb of the all powerful devs, or in this case a certain goddess devoted to the idea of Balance. SIlas himself should learn and grow, improving and progressing in areas where he struggles, or rather, to show such is my goal. The story is told from multiple points of view. While other PoVs will come and go, Silas shall remain the only lead character. The world Silas finds himself on is not a nice place. Expect him to encounter gore and traumatizing content and bad people who do bad things for selfish (or possibly noble) reasons from time to time. Some characters will use profanity, however due to cultural differences the curse words used will differ from those used in our corner of reality, so I'm not including the profanity content warning. Silas himself isn't one for foul language. No explicit sexual content here. This novel is intended for mature readers, however, and will include mature topics, including, but not limited to, sex, violence, death, and taxes. No harem. Might be an eventual romantic interest, possibly even some competitive jealousy, yet as his story begins Silas is too overwhelmed with other concerns to consider long term plans. Musophobics might want to steer clear of this story. Same goes for turophobics. You have been warned. Keep in mind, however, if my other disclaimers didn't make this clear, I only have the faintest of outlines at the moment. This story will take me where it will. My goal with this story is to write it to the end, something of a long-term writing exercise, with the hope others might take an interest in my work and encourage me to keep at it. I've started a number of works before, even finished a few, but this is the first time I've shared any work in a public forum. My temporary cover was made by me, in GIMP using public domain images. If you can do better I'll happily accept your submission and give credit for your work here!

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
