Chapter 27
In Li Fire Sect, Roderick was sitting in the main hall of Patriarch Tower with his eyes closed, as if he was meditating.
Streams of powerful magic power slowly spread out from his body.
In the next second, Roderick instantly opened his eyes.
At this moment, Roderick’s eyes were bloodshot as he stared into the distance.
That was the direction where the two black bishops had come from!
Roderick could feel two extremely terrifying mana fluctuations shooting towards him at a speed that he had never imagined.
Their target was Li Fire Sect!
The two people who had come were probably at least grand enchanter!
D*mn it, why did they provoke two grand enchanter at this time.
Roderick instantly stood up from his seat and shouted, “Enemy attack!”
“Activate the defensive magic formation!”
Although he still didn’t know what the other party’s situation was, was it an enemy? Or was it a friend?
However, he didn’t dare to gamble against an existence that could easily destroy Li Fire Sect!
If he made the wrong bet, Li Fire Sect would probably fall into the abyss of eternal damnation!
Buzz!
A light red ray of light directly enveloped the entire Li Fire Sect!
Like a turtle shell, the sect’s alarm rang loudly.
The highest level of alarm!
This was an alarm that only sounded when Li Fire Sect was in a moment of life and death!
Ever since Li Fire Sect was founded by Roderick a hundred years ago, the highest level of alarm had never sounded!
“Hahahaha!”
“Interesting, you actually reacted!”
“But it’s useless. You don’t think that this small turtle shell can stop me, do you?”
At this moment, Eldo had already appeared in the sky, looking down on the entire Li Fire Sect.

On the right side, Agu watched helplessly and his face was expressionless.
At this moment, all the disciples, tower lords and elders of Li Fire Sect were without exception, all of them raised their heads to look at the two black-clothed bishops in the sky!
A terrifying magic fluctuation came from the two of them, pressing down on them until they could not breathe.
This pressure was much stronger than the full power of Li Fire Sect patriarch!
At this moment, they were like ants!
In the Patriarch Tower, the nine tower lords instantly gathered. Their faces were extremely gloomy.
“Patriarch, what’s the situation now?”
Roderick’s face was so gloomy that water could be squeezed out of it.
“We’re not sure yet, but at least now we know something.”
“The other party is hostile towards us.”
1
The nine tower lords and elders looked at each other.
Li Fire Sect was only a second-rate force in the Empire. How could they provoke two powerful grand enchanter!
“What should we do now? Patriarch, if those two really attack, our Li fire Sect will really be in danger of exterminating the sect!”
Roderick’s voice was a little hoarse.
“These two people have already broken through to become powerful grand enchanter. We can’t be their opponent. The best way for us now is to immediately go to other forces to seek help.”
“Our Li Fire Sect still has quite good relationship with others.”
“If those two really break through our defensive magic, then I will fight to the death. At this moment, it’s up to you. Take as many disciples as you can to leave,” Roderick said.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sound of explosions came from the sky.
It was like an earthquake. At this moment, the disciples whose strength was lower than a rank 5 apprentice all had pale faces!

In the sky, Eldo chuckled and withdrew his foot that he had just stepped on.
“You’re just an ant, and you actually want to stop me. You’re really dreaming.”

Seeing this scene, Roderick directly walked out of the main tower and raised his head to look at Eldo.
“Sir, what did our Li Fire Sect offend you? Is this why you came all the way to our Li Fire Sect to denounce us?”
“You are the master of Li Fire Sect, right? Since you took our things, you still have the guts to ask me why I came to denounce you!?”
“We took your things?”
Roderick was stunned on the spot.
“Don’t remember? Then I’ll give you some help!”
“A year ago, three trolls were here. They originally wanted to visit an old friend, but in the end, they were killed here by you Li Fire Sect.”
1
Three trolls?
The Vampire’s Gate!
In an instant, Roderick understood what was going on. He immediately turned around and asked James.
“Did those three trolls say that they were willing to become the experimental subjects of the vampires for revenge?”
James nodded after recalling a little.
“That’s right. Those three guys did say that.”
James’s expression was extremely ugly.
Now that Li Fire Sect was in a life-and-death situation, all of this was actually caused by James.
James guessed that the thing these two grand enchanters were talking about was the magical tool which the three trolls had used to unleash the crimson moon!
Hadn’t those three fingers been destroyed by Lin Lei?
How could he return it to them?!
“Sir, this is all a massive misunderstanding! It was these three trolls who wanted to ambush our tower patriarch. We were forced to do so, and that was why we killed your excellency’s disciple.”
“I represent Li Fire Sect and give you my sincerest apology.”
“But I really don’t know what you are talking about. Can you give us some time and we will get it back for you.”
Roderick was worthy of being the leader of Li Fire Sect. He was flexible.
Although his heart was burning with anger, if he had the strength, he would have killed the other party three times already. But now, he was weaker than the other party, and that was his original sin.
He had no choice but to lower his head!
“The three human fingers are covered in blood. They are one of the magic tools that our Vampire’s Gate used to release the third seal,” Agu coldly said from the side.
However, in the next moment, a fierce smile appeared on Eldo’s face. A transparent bone appeared in his hand and he ruthlessly smashed it towards the defensive turtle shell of Li Fire Sect!
“I like to take my things on my own!”
“Today is the day your Li Fire Sect will be destroyed!”

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!

Bone And Amber: The Inside Story On The Return Of The Dinosaurs
A miracle has been achieved: non-avian, Mesozoic dinosaurs have been brought back to life - not by a technical university or a government programme, but by a venture capitalist concern, for reasons of profit. The social, economic, and political ripples of this development will do much more than enable the simple launch of a theme park for the rich: they will change the world. FAQ: Do I need to know anything about the Jurassic Park franchise to enjoy this? No. This story is not exactly a Jurassic Park fanfic - it is a story about the de-extinction of Mesozoic dinosaurs. While the story begins with some of the events depicted in the Jurassic Park universe, it is very much its own creature, and designed for readers with no prior knowledge of the franchise. It will begin to diverge quite quickly, as well: the dramatic focus will not be on people running around tropical islands trying to be eaten. The whole point of the exercise is to explore the profound consequences and ripples an event like the mass-cloning of extinct animals would generate.Do I need to know anything about dinosaurs to enjoy this? Also no! Sensing a theme yet? Although, if I’ve done my homework correctly, a newbie to the subject will be able to pick up something - not just about the animals themselves, but about their role as a vehicle to better understand the history of life on Earth, and the application of the scientific method to a sadly fragmentary puzzle.Without further ado, please enjoy!

And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.
