Monster Pet Evolution Chapter 189 Change
It was as if he had heard his daughter cheering for him. Dumby became more and more daring. Every time he was hit, he would bounce back and attack.
Every punch and kick he threw produced a violent whistling in the wind. Only a blur of Dumby’s attack could be seen in the air.
Since it was just training, the White Dragon had greatly suppressed its strength. It was just playing with Dumby, relaxed.
After Stripey ran a dozen steps, electricity shot out from afar and hit the ground around it. It created a blast, and the blast created a pit in turn. The electricity overflowed, and a spider-like pattern of lightning spread to the surrounding area. It was entangled around Stripey’s legs. The electricity had numbed the soles of its feet.
Stripey turned its head and saw its master looking at it unhappily. Stripey blinked and said, “I’m trying to look for the big snake’s weak point.” It had never seen a dragon before, so it thought the White Dragon was just a big snake with legs.
After it finished speaking, Stripey turned around and stared intensely at the White Dragon.
Gao Peng stopped looking at Stripey and turned to look at the Thunder God Snail, which was teaching Da Zi and Flamy.
Being monsters of similar natures, they had a much easier time communicating with one another.
In front of the Thunder God Snail were five fist-sized electric balls floating in mid-air. The silver-white electric balls were dazzling and moved as the Thunder God Snail wished them to. They lined up in a circle and moved slowly around. From time to time, they would form different shapes, such as a sphere, a cube, and a triangular pyramid.
The most important thing was that these five electric balls were moving together. The Thunder God Snail was able to control all five of them at the same time.
It was terrifyingly awesome.
Da Zi was only able to shoot electricity in a straight line, so it was stunned by what it saw.
So it can actually be done this way…
Da Zi felt for the first time in its life a sense of… inferiority?
No, no, no. Da Zi immediately shook its head. That was definitely not the case.

When Gao Peng saw how immersed Da Zi was, he couldn’t help but think that Da Zi had grown up and was becoming more and more mature.
“Actually, it’s not as complicated as you think. You have the same abilities as me. If I can do it, so can you.”
Da Zi was at a loss for words. It stared at the Thunder God Snail and said, “You are very powerful. I am… not as powerful as you.”
“What I am showing you is something that I could do when I was at your level,” the Thunder God Snail said calmly. The sound of thunder could be heard in the air as the Thunder God Snail spoke. The electricity in the air became very active. Balls of electricity kept forming in the air.
More electric balls filled the sky until there were at least a thousand of them. They were as bright as stars, and all the balls were connected by lightning, which made them look like one giant spider web.
The violent electricity suddenly became calm, as if it was a lamb that was sleeping on a bed of grass.
“This is my true power.”
Da Zi gulped. It was both jealous and looking forward to learning what it saw. Would it be able to reach this level one day?
“You only need to achieve something simple. You just need to control these five electric balls, which I will consider as passing the test,” the Thunder God Snail said to Da Zi.
Da Zi nodded, confused.
“It’s not as hard as you think it is. For us, controlling electricity is a natural talent. You will be able to do it if you practice, just like how you don’t find it difficult to walk with the hundreds of legs you have. But for this bird next to you, walking with hundreds of legs at a time is something impossible.”
That sentence was like a bullet that went straight into Flamy’s heart.
Flamy, who trained beside them, cursed at them in its heart. What does him having legs have anything to do with me?!
Flamy opened its beak and shot out flames. However, they didn’t come out in a straight line as they had before. Instead, the flames slowly gathered right in front of its beak, turning into a huge fireball.

It was able to create a fireball on its first try.
Even the Thunder God Snail was surprised. It’d had to try that a few times before it succeeded, but this one-legged bird was able to do it on its first try.
Da Zi looked at Flamy enviously. Hmph! Even this one-legged fellow can do it. I’m definitely better than him!
Da Zi closed its eyes and tried to feel the power in its body.
A faint power started to flow through its body. Yes, this is my power!
Da Zi immediately joined the power it felt together. It tried very hard to push it together and have it circle around its body.
Da Zi gradually became more and more relaxed and felt more and more at peace. The next step was to release the power in its body in a relaxed manner.
Da Zi pushed this power out in a slow and controlled manner.
“Pffffff…”
The fart that came out was long and melodious.
Da Zi tightened its facial expression and squeezed both of its eyes shut nervously.
Flamy looked at Da Zi with eyes of ridicule. This stupid centipede. It had used to see Da Zi as its biggest competitor, but now, it seemed like it wasn’t a threat to anyone.
…
After half a month, half of summer vacation had passed.
Loud booming sounds kept coming from the lakeside.
A five feet tall skeleton frantically ran on the ground. He was trying to evade being hit by the large volumes of water that were being dropped on him.
The water had been condensed until it was even heavier than rocks. It was falling onto the ground at a rate of hundreds of feet per second. The ground was filled with holes that had been created by this falling water.
Although Dumby had a strong defense, he didn’t dare to get hit by any of this water. If he was hit, his rhythm would be thrown off, and he would get hit by even more of the water bombs.
From time to time, a sneak attack of heavy winds created by the dragon’s tail would accompany the water attacks.
The veins in Dumby’s chest pumped like crazy. He fell flat on his back to avoid the dragon’s tail, then used his fists to hit the ground to bounce up, throw a hook punch, and hit the White Dragon in its abdomen.
All of this happened within the span of a few breaths.
After throwing the punch, Dumby used the rebounding force of the punch to turn 360 degrees in mid-air. He then landed on the ground. Stripey, who was standing behind him, was slightly slow in its reaction. Stripey waved its claws to cheer. Is the battle over?
The White Dragon in the air stopped its water controlling ability, curled up its tail, and said calmly, “Not bad. Your reaction and speed have reached a certain standard. The water controlling ability I used just now was at the level of most Commander tier water type monsters. If you can get close enough to them under such conditions, it means that you’ve already won half the battle.”
“As for you…” the White Dragon moved its gaze towards Stripey.
Stripey flexed its chest and showed its claws.
“Since you’re just a tank, you just need to be able to withstand attacks.”
On the other side. Flamy flew above the lake. Surrounding it were ten fireballs. From time to time, a fireball would fall into the lake, creating a blast that caused waves that were a few dozens of feet tall.
On the shore, Da Zi’s two feelers tightened up, its body bent into the shape of a bow. Five electric balls the size of ping pong balls came out from the front of its feelers and flickered. They seemed like they would disappear at any time.
“It’s quite impressive that you were able to learn this in half a month,” the Thunder God Snail praised Da Zi.
On the other side of the river, Ji Hanwu and Gao Peng stood side by side. They were looking at Flamy, who was flying in the sky. “Are you sure you really want to go to the forest?”
“Yes, I want to go and see what it’s like. Relax, I’m only going to observe from the outside. I won’t go inside.” Gao Peng nodded.
