A loud siren was heard, and it echoed throughout the entire Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy. The Spiritual Academy was always bustling with noise, but now, an even bigger commotion broke out.

All of the terrified students were looking toward the outside of the spiritual array, where an overwhelming demonic aura was sweeping in from the faraway sky. “The Extraterritorial Race is attacking us!” someone shouted in a panic.

Ye Qingling, Shen Changsheng, and Wen Qingxuan were at standing beside the lake when they saw this. All of them were looking grave, and their bodies were tensed up.

“Elder Sister!” At this time, Sun’Er flitted gently over to Ye Qingling, her bright eyes filled with worry.

Ye Qingling took a deep breath, then said calmly, “Gather the students and calm them down. Do not fuel the chaos, but do prepare for the worst-case scenario. If the situation is beyond our control, arrange for the students to escape through the Transfer Spiritual Array.”

“After so many years, we’re fighting as a team together again,” Ye Qingling said with a smile as she cast her beautiful gaze on Shen Cangsheng, Li Xuantong, and the rest.

Shen Cangsheng returned a faint smile to her as she looked at he looked at her with fearless eyes. A long spear was in his hand, and as he clenched his fist, he looked at Li Xuantong and said, “Back then, you lost to me! Care to compete again now?”

“I can’t wait!” Li Xuantong chuckled, while his spiritual energy surged around him, causing his robe to flap loudly.

“With me around, neither of you will be able to steal the limelight!” Wen Qingxuan pouted her red lips. The confidence she displayed made her look like a proud peacock.

Roar!

Just when their battle desires were building up, a deafening dragon roar echoed through the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy. Then, a black beam of light darted out and a figured appeared in the sky.

An old man with a bald head appeared. He looked very stern. Claps of thunder could be heard all around him, and he emitted a fierce and mighty oppression.

“Lord Sea Dragon!” When the old man revealed his presence, the entire Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy exploded into loud cheers, while calling out his name in unison.

All of the students were staring at him with passionate eyes. After all, the fame of the Northern Sea Dragon was known throughout the entire realm!

Despite all of the cheers, the Northern Sea Dragon did not relax his stern expression. As he stared at the vast incoming demonic aura, he could sense a stinging pain on his skin. It was clear that a compelling existence was among this group from the Extraterritorial Race.

Shua! Shua!

One by one, figures darted out from the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy and stood behind the Northern Sea Dragon. They were all experts from the five branches.

Chief Tai Cang also appeared beside the Northern Sea Dragon. As he looked at the latter, his heart sank.

“Tai Cang, we must prepare for the worst.” Sensing Chief Tai Cang’s gaze upon him, the Northern Sea Dragon sighed, then spoke softly.

When Chief Tai Cang heard this, his body could not help but jerk in response, while a look of utter dejection could be seen in his eyes. He had never expected that the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy would be destroyed under his rule.

“If that’s the case, I will fight to the death to buy more time for the students to escape.” Tai Cang clutched his hands tightly as he spoke with determination. After all, as he was the Chief of the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy, he could not possibly abandon his students.

Northern Sea Dragon also smiled as he patted Tai Cang on the shoulder and said, “I have guarded the academy for so many years. If the academy is going to be destroyed today, I’ll also perish in defense of it.”

Tai Cang opened his mouth, as he wanted to comment as well, but the Northern Sea Dragon waved his hand to stop him. So, Tai Cang could only give him a respectful bow.

Shen Cangsheng, Li Xuantong, Wen Qingxuan, Ye Qingling and the rest then flitted into the air and landed behind Chief Tai Cang. They all then announced in unison, “Chief, we will also stay with the academy!”

Tai Cang looked at them with warmth in his eyes. “Children, you’re now even better than your masters. However, all of you are our future hopes. There is no need for you to perish here today. Instead, I hope you will flee with as many students as possible. That would at least save some of our younger generation to carry on our academy’s legacy in the future.”

Shen Cangsheng and the rest kept quiet as they looked at the old man’s hopeful expression. They could not utter a word of protest. Eventually, they bowed before him formally and agreed in unison, “Chief, rest assured that we will do our best.”

Tai Cang nodded his head with satisfaction. He then turned and looked at the sky outside of the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy with a stern expression.

The overwhelming demonic aura was getting closer and closer to the school compound. As he scanned his eyes over the demonic aura, he could see multiple demonic figures with brutality in their eyes.

“Activate the spiritual array!” The low voice of Northern Sea Dragon resounded in the air.

Immediately, those experts who were maintaining the spiritual array in the academy circulated their energies at full force. Spiritual energy infused into the spiritual array continuously as the huge light shield that loomed over the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy solidified.

“This protection shield could defend us against attacks from multiple Heaven Sovereigns. This is our last protective barricade,” the Northern Sea Dragon said slowly as he looked at the light shield that was giving off a spiritual glow. If this array gave way, he knew that they would have to fight for their lives.

“Let’s hope that this array can keep the academy safe,” a student said, while everyone began to pray hard.

At that moment, the demonic aura that had just surged finally came to a halt. The entire world seemed to grow silent as the demonic aura whizzed by. Even the wind seemed to grind to a complete halt before vanishing. The bustling Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy also hushed at this time, while countless fearful gazes stared at the boundless demonic aura.

The demonic aura swished and swooshed until suddenly, numerous black skeleton heads flew out from it in a steady stream. On each of the skeleton heads stood a demonic figure that had a daunting demonic fluctuation, which emanated out from it like a windstorm.

Seven Demon Emperors! As they recognized the seven demonic figures, numerous despairing voices were heard immediately shouting in fear from within the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy. Even the Northern Sea Dragon looked disturbed at this time.

Even though he knew that a Demon Emperor would definitely show up in this round, he did not expect to have seven of them arrive! Moreover, each one of them was no weaker than him!

“It looks like the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy is doomed.” Chief Tai Cang was shivering as he mumbled the despairing words.

The seven Demon Emperors stared indifferently at those people who were feeling despair within the academy. Then, without further ado, they struck! Immediately, streams of demonic currents penetrated the air and blasted onto the large light shield.

“Once the Transfer Spiritual Array is ready, send the students away immediately.” As Chief Tai Cang gave his order, he was shaking.

Immediately, someone went off to execute his order. From their points of view, no one here could imagine that they could defend themselves against the Extraterritorial Race once the spiritual array gave way. Even the Northern Sea Dragon was not a match for the seven Demon Emperors, especially when they struck together!

“Once the array gives way, I’ll do my best to stop a few of the Demon Emperors. The rest will be up to you.” As the Northern Sea Dragon stared at the spiritual array that was shaking violently, he suddenly looked peaceful.

He then looked at Chief Tai Cang and chuckled, then added, “Speaking of which, I thought of that little fellow back then in the academy. He even learned my Thunder God Physique.”

“You’re talking about Mu Chen, aren’t you? Hehe, he is definitely not ordinary now. In fact, a few years ago, I heard that even the Divine Grade Heavenly Sovereigns were no longer his match!” Chief Tai Cang giggled.

He then added, “But, for some reason, no one has heard any news about in recent years. Everyone said that it was because he was afraid of the Extraterritorial Race, but I knew that he is not the kind of person to be afraid of anyone!”

The Northern Sea Dragon also gave a faint smile as he said, “I agree with you. After all, as he is someone who has withstood the test of the Divine Black Thunder Black and mastered the Thunder God Physique, how could he lack courage? Those people were just being foolish.”

While they were talking, the light shield grew frailer. Eventually, everyone watched in horror as the protective shield exploded. The spiritual array was broken, and the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy was entirely exposed to the fierce and greedy Extraterritorial Race!

“Kill him!” The Seven Demon Emperors locked their cold-looking eyes on the Northern Sea Dragon, as he was the only one that could really threaten them.

Immediately, all seven of them charged forward at the same time. As their hands struck out, their seven Demonic Fists punched out at the Northern Sea Dragon, not showing any mercy.

Sensing that he was being targeted by the seven Demon Emperors, the Northern Sea Dragon’s expression, while his body suddenly gave off numerous radiant black thunder rays that made him look like a Thunder God! He then stepped forward with both of his hands together.

He then struck his palms out and yelled, “Divine Black Thunder Palms!”

At this moment, a black thunder light swept forth with an irresistible force. The surrounding space vibrated as the light collided hard against the seven Demonic Fists.

Bang!

The entire universe seemed to shake as the two daunting forces wrestled with one another. However, the seven fists outmatched the black thunder light. The light was overpowered brutally, and the remaining power of the fists blasted the Northern Sea Dragon.

Bang!

His body jerked as he received the blows, and his clothes were ripped off as he spat out a mouthful of blood. His energy was completed depleted, leaving him weak and frail. He had clearly sustained a severe injury!

“Lord Sea Dragon!” Countless students let out a collective melancholic scream, and their eyes were filled with fear and despair. No one thought that such an invincible existence could be severely injured by these opponents!

“Take them away!” The Northern Sea Dragon let out a low groan, and his face looked ashen as he gave the order.

The situation was a complete mess, and under the lead of some of the mentors from the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy, all of the students began to flee. The Northern Sea Dragon then let out a roar as he stared at the seven Demon Emperors, who stood in the air.

He then charged out fiercely, ready to die. Facing the seven experts, who were all on par with him, the Northern Sea Dragon knew that he could not possibly win. Even so, he knew that he must at least buy some time for the students to escape.

He decided to self-detonate, and a powerful spiritual energy began to surge within his body, while a daunting fluctuation exuded from it. Sensing the Northern Sea Dragon’s intention, the seven Demon Emperors immediately changed their expressions, and with one unified, harsh voice, they shouted, “Kill him!”

All of the seven Demon Emperors almost struck at the same time after they heard his voice. Instantly, a Demonic aura surged forth and transformed into seven charging Demonic Swords.

“Lord Sea Dragon!” In the air, Shen Cangsheng, Li Xuantong, Ye Qingling and the rest watched the battle.

They all felt chills running through their bodies. Their eyes could not conceal a tinge of sadness, as they knew that this attack could utterly decimate the Northern Sea Dragon.

“Get everyone to retreat!” Chief Tai Cang stared at the scene without any emotion showing on his face, yet his fingernails were dug into his palms and blood was dripping down from them.

Shen Cangsheng and the rest looked at each other before they gritted their teeth and backed away with red and tearful eyes.

Shoo!

At that moment, Seven Demonic Swords penetrated the air above the sky. They targeted all of the vital points on the Northern Sea Dragon’s body, using extremely tricky and ruthless angles.

Weng! Weng!

Just when everyone was about to witness the death of the Northern Sea Dragon, two shrieks were heard from the sky. Subsequently, two gleaming and majestic spiritual light pillars descended from the sky.

One of them fell in front of the seven Demonic Swords. Then, under the wash of the spiritual glow, seven demonic swords vanished into thin air immediately.

Another spiritual light encompassed three of the Demon Emperors. The spiritual glow surged with vast and boundless spiritual energy. Then, before they even had a chance to scream, the three Demon Emperors were wiped out as everyone watched in horror.

Shen Cangsheng, Li Xuantong, Wen Qingxuan and the rest stopped retreating immediately as they watched this scene in disbelief. While everyone was terrified, the space behind the Northern Sea Dragon rippled and a slender figure slowly emerged.

She stretched out her fine hand and gently put it on the Northern Sea Dragon’s shoulder. Instantly, the spiritual energy that was ready to explode from the Northern Sea Dragon’s body became mild and gentle.

The Northern Sea Dragon was stunned as the exploding spiritual energy in his body calmed down. He then tilted his stiff head around and saw the woman’s beautiful face, which a weary look on it due to her recent non-stop traveling.

Upon seeing the stunned look on the Northern Sea Dragon’s face, the captivating girl drew her red lips into a smile. She then blinked her eyes at him and said in a gentle voice, “Senior Sea Dragon, you cannot self-detonate here. Otherwise, I will find it hard to answer to Mu Chen when he returns.”

As the girl chuckled, all eyes within the Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy were staring blankly at her ravishing beauty. Chief Tai Cang, Shen Cangsheng, Li Xuan Tong, Wen Qingxuan and the rest could not help but open their mouths widely in awe as they said in surprise, “That’s Luo Li!”
