Chapter 567: Let’s Work Together

“Governor Qin! I hope you’ve been well since we last met?” He Liming smiled faintly. He did not carry the arrogant tone higher-ups used when speaking to those that ranked lower than them in the way he spoke, putting himself and Qin Feng at the same position.

Of course, it would be difficult to speak formally to Qin Feng. He Liming knew how tough he was, as well as how bold. Bold enough to kill Guang Wei and get out of the situation scott free. Whether it was schemes, power and status, Qin Feng lacked none of them!

“Haha, I wouldn’t be calling to just say hello!” He Liming quickly said before smiling, “There’s an old friend of mine who came to me and asked me to help me seek you out. If possible, he would like to meet you in the Consciousness Realm!”

Qin Feng was surprised, what was so important that they needed to meet and talk about?

Despite being surprised, he did not ask why. He Liming was only the messenger after all.

“You don’t know who it is?”

Qin Feng then took out the consciousness connector and entered the Consciousness Realm. He quickly received an invitation to enter a very special manor!

It was Hong Lie’s private space. Within the Consciousness Realm, such places could be constructed for the sake of meeting guests.

Hong Lie was already waiting inside!

“President Qin, good to meet you!”

“Oh, I’m a little surprised to see you President Hong!” Qin Feng said and shook hands with Hong Lie. It looked like he was being indifferent but others might have seen him as not being enthusiastic.

This was normal though. While Qin Feng and Hong Lie had no beef with one another, their subordinates had come into conflict after all.

“I assume you’ve called me to accuse me, President Hong?” Qin Feng asked.

It made sense. Qin Feng killed one of his C-tier subordinates. That alone would make anyone angry.

That would be the same as the guy who almost killed Wang Chen, incited Qin Feng’s fury and made him dare to offend a B-tier organization.

“Hah, how would that be possible? There must be some misunderstanding, a misunderstanding! I’m completely unaware of Tian Yan’s actions, otherwise I wouldn’t have let him do such a foolish thing!” Hong Lie explained quickly.

Qin Feng cocked a brow. He naturally understood what Hong Lie was doing, he was trying to calm things down.

In that case, Qin Feng had no reason to continue being indifferent!

“In that case, I’ve mistaken you as well President Hong!”

“I’ve been impressed by you for a long time President Qin, it’s time we get acquainted with one another!” Hong Lie said.

Qin Feng seemed to be smiling. Hong Lie looked carefree and proud, and by now if the situation had gone differently he would have been coughing up teeth.

Of course, Qin Feng would be the 40 and Hong Lie would be the 60!

Such a plan was already gouging into Hong Lie’s side!

“Alright, I also want to see what this realm is about!” Qin Feng nodded in agreement. He did not care about how things were going to be divided. 60-40 was fair, even if it was 50-50 there still would not be much meaning to him.

Qin Feng did this so that Hong Lie would not have any ideas of obtaining the Godwill Atlas.In Hong Lie’s mind the Godwill Atlas was the key to unlocking this alternate dimension.

Once they agreed on the terms, Qin Feng departed from the Consciousness Realm.

Three days later, Hong Lie was the first to arrive at the Red Sun Corp’s hidden realm’s entrance. There were also ten of his C-tier subordinates, including Wen Hai who was stationed here.

“Boss, you really plan on just giving Qin Feng 40 percent of the gains? You’re way too generous!” Wen Hai said with discontent.

Hong Lie glared at Wen Hai. “Watch your mouth, do you think I don’t know what I’m doing?”

Wen Hai did not dare retort. He and Tian Yan wasted two years preparing for this realm. Although he spent those years shut away and practicing, only appearing when he obtained good machinery, it felt like he was wasting those times away in prison.

Then, Qin Feng suddenly came in out of nowhere and all of a sudden Wen Hai’s gains were reduced?

How could he not be nervous? Or have opinions about Qin Feng?
