Chapter 580: Pursuing Chu Thirteen

To Qin Feng, these enemies were just small fries .

Each one of them was laid waste by him one punch after another .

As cheers and cries deafened down, everything outside of the elevator was now lying dead on the floor .

After kicking a corpse out of the elevator, Qin Feng pressed a button to close the door and continued moving upward .

However, as the elevator reached the 3rd floor, the door opened again .

Qin Feng started to get impatient after seeing this!

Meanwhile, the Genesis members who were waiting at the 3rd floor had already caught wind of how the ones at the 2nd floor were completely wiped out .

They gulped as they stared at Qin Feng anxiously .

“Stop him at all cost!”

Suddenly, a loud voice could be heard from their communicator . And as they heard this, their faces turned grim .

They recognized that voice . That was the voice of the leader of Genesis—Chu Thirteen!

They immediately darted toward Qin Feng, seemingly prepared to give their lives away .

Qin Feng, however, did not intend to waste his time on them .

“That guy wants to run!”

“Run? He thinks he can get away from me?”

Qin Feng pinched his conscious energy again .

“Hellfire Carpet!”

In an instant, the entire 3rd floor was engulfed by fire! This flame was unleashed by a C5-tier ability user . No one was able to endure it!

“Argh!!!”

As loud excruciating cries echoed on the 3rd floor, the men who intended to “stop Qin Feng at all cost” were burned to a crisp, paying a heavy price in their attempts .

Qin Feng took a look at the elevator’s ceiling and forcefully stepped on the ground!

Qin Feng shot upward midair as the elevator was completely crushed by the pressure!

The elevator, having sustained great damage, plummeted to the ground .

A loud noise could be heard below as the elevator landed on the ground .

Qin Feng did not pay any attention to the elevator and dashed straight to the entrance of the 8th floor . With a light push, the elevator door was forced open!

A majestic, golden lobby appeared before him . Several low-tier aptitude users hid away, trying to get out of sight . Some of them even ran down to the lower floors, intending to flee away from Qin Feng .

Of course, Qin Feng was not interested in pursuing them . They were not his main target .

Qin Feng activated his Fire Dragon Skill .

A sturdy, metallic door was rammed down! Qin Feng was now in the office of the leader; however, this “Leader of Genesis” was nowhere to be found .

“Over here!”

Bai Li, being a spatial user, was able to locate their target easily . If she wanted, she could reach the target in a wink of an eye .

“Don’t catch him yet . Let him run and lead us to the big prize!”

Bai Li activated her spatial rune equipment and warped them into a tunnel . This tunnel was connected to the office of Genesis’s leader . Usually, one would need to find the secret switch to open the path . It would take a lot of time to find that switch even for a D-tier aptitude user; and by then, Chu Thirteen would have gotten away!

Chu Thirteen did not expect a spatial ability user to be by Qin Feng’s side though .

Thus, Qin Feng and Bai Li were able to hop to the tunnel without finding the switch .

Qin Feng had locked onto Chu Thirteen with his conscious energy!

This man was a D8-tier aptitude user, making him almost as strong as Yan Shuo . However, Chu Thirteen did not clash with Qin Feng directly . Instead, he opted to flee from him .

Why? Because Chu Thirteen knew who Qin Feng was .

The Dark Coalition had always paid close attention to the Human Alliance . Every single prodigy in the Prodigy Tournament was on the coalition’s hit list . The reason being that these prodigies tend to hunt down people in the Dark Coalition for glory, and thus for self-preservation, the Dark Coalition would put their names on the hit list .

And this year, the Dark Coalition had already gotten intel about Qin Feng . The Human Alliance might not pay much attention to this new prodigy but many from the Dark Coalition had set their eyes on him .

This young man’s bounty was too high to pass on . This too meant that Qin Feng was a highly dangerous target when faced directly .

Yet, due to this, Chu Thirteen intended to avoid confrontation with Qin Feng as much as he could .

“How horrifying! So, this is Qin Feng? I need to hurry! Hurry!!” Chu Thirteen kept running faster and faster, fearing for his life .

Yet, no matter how hard he ran, Chu Thirteen could sense that Qin Feng’s conscious energy was still haunting him, as though it had now clutched onto him .

Qin Feng followed Chu Thirteen from behind slowly . There was no rush .

Yet, he could sense that they were moving upward . This meant that Chu Thirteen was heading outside .

If that was the case, Chu Thirteen would not be able to outrun Qin Feng . Yet, Chu Thirteen opted to do it anyway . This meant that he was either desperate or there was someone he could ask for help out there .

Chu Thirteen rammed open a door . Chilling wind and snow blew right onto his face as he kept dashing forward .

In the next instance, Qin Feng felt that something was wrong . Chu Thirteen’s presence was now gone!

“What…?”

Qin Feng was surprised when he realized this . He quickly zipped to the entrance . It was merely three seconds after Chu Thirteen had reached the exit when Qin Feng appeared next to it .

Leaping out of the exit, he could see nothing but white before him . The exit was right in the middle of a snowy mountain . There was nothing but snow in the area . There was no living creature to be found!

Chu Thirteen had indeed disappeared .

“It’s impossible!”

Qin Feng’s face turned grim after realizing this!

He did not sense any dark powers in the area . As for the other types of powers, they did not possess stealth capabilities . So, how did Chu Thirteen get away?

“No, this isn’t it . ”

Qin Feng was able to deduce an answer right away .

If he was a wood ability user, then he would be able to blend in with the trees .

It was like a water ability user who could run away via the rivers; or the ground ability users who could tunnel away to safety .

There was nothing but snow in the area . This meant that Chu Thirteen would have merged himself with the snow!

Without hesitation, Qin Feng activated his runes .

“Fire Wall!!”

Hellish heat started to rise up as fiery flames started engulfing the surrounding area . Qin Feng’s Fire Wall had set the white snowy scene ablaze in under a second!

The snow started to melt as the fire scorched the ground .

Within a thousand meters, Qin Feng could see a silhouette hiding sheepishly . It was a five-meter Snow Fox!

“Argh!!!”

The Snow Fox cried out fearfully and started to turn tail . Chu Thirteen’s mutant form was the shape of a fox!

“Aha! Found you!”

Qin Feng smirked as fiery flames swirled around him .

Qin Feng stepped out of the Fire Wall and zipped next to Chu Thirteen .

Chu Thirteen had nowhere to run now!
