Chapter 675: A Shocking Return

“What?”

He Jia did not anticipate something like this to happen. This was supposed to be the time when Qin Feng would be back. If he were to arrive at this time, would it not mean that Qin Feng would die once again?

And then, He Jia remembered that Qin Feng said he was bringing a “trophy” with him.

He Jia quickly contacted the port patrols and had them analyze just what kind of ultra beast that was closing in.

He Jia was part of the authorities of East Sea City. Although she was just a C-tier, He Jia possessed great authority and access. Thus, she was able to make use of the city’s surveillance camera and… she saw something that no other people was able to see—something 20km away.

It was a gigantic fish skeleton floating on the vast, blue sea.

A freaky, horrifying fish skeleton! One that was so terrifying that when looked at, she could feel a creeping chill running down her spine.

“Wait. There’s something on the top of the skull!”

5 minutes later, the patrols could finally see the gigantic fish skeleton. After seeing it before their eyes, they could feel just how small they were.

“I am Commander Zhang Geng, from the East Sea City’s Patrol Unit. Identify yourself!”

Qin Feng, after detecting Zhang Geng’s conscious energy, stopped the Glutton Leviathan’s movement and had it completely rise to the water surface.

The giant fish skeleton was able to rise up really high. It was already now near the port so the seabed was not as deep as the deeper parts of the ocean. And the Glutton Leviathan’s limbs were so huge that it even rose up from the waters, like four gigantic bone pillars!

“I am Qin Feng, the governor of North Sea State. I have the invitation to support East Sea City’s efforts in fending off the sea beasts.”

Yu Yangtao, however, yelled out loud, “Commander Zhang! It’s me! Yu Yangtao!”

Zhang Geng was surprised to hear his voice. “Mr Yu! I thought that you’re devoured by the Glutton Leviathan!”

News about the Glutton Leviathan’s attack was spread everywhere in the city. They even had a list of the deceased out in the papers and Yu Yangtao was one of the deceased. Now that he thought about it, even Qin Feng’s name was on the list.

“Hahaha! This is all thanks to President Qin! I’m alive right now and it’s all thanks to him!”

It was apparent that Yu Yangtao was alive and well, and quite happy to return to East Sea City too.

As Zhang Geng’s boat got near to the Glutton Leviathan, the other patrol officers on the boat were overwhelmed by its presence, resulting in their faces turning as white as a sheet—they were all C-tiers.

The Glutton Leviathan’s skeleton was so enormous that it looked like a massive island!

Zhang Geng stopped everyone from moving forward and leaped onto the giant fish skeleton before walking toward Qin Feng and Yu Yangtao.

“So it is you two! Just what on earth happened back there? And what is this… thing?”

Zhang Geng was a knowledgeable B-tier. So, after giving the monstrosity a look, he could kind of guess what was going on.

“So, is this Dark Puppeteering?”

“You guessed it right. This ultra beast is already dead. As such, I bought its skeleton back. I even made some modification to it so it will not pose any threat to anyone now.”

“Okay, I understand. I’ll ask the patrols to abort the alarm. Damn, you guys sure gave us a good scare!”

Usually, when an A-tier ultra beast was attacking a city, they would need to call for the regent for help. Now that there was no problem, it was all good.

Zhang Geng quickly stopped the alarm, without giving much explanation.

The ability users on the docks were confused as to what was going on. However, He Jia was the first to board a boat, going straight to the sea.

Meanwhile, Zhang Geng still had other questions.

“I’ve heard Miss He say that you two were devoured by the Glutton Leviathan. How are you still alive? How did you escape it?”

Yu Yangtao could not wait to tell everyone how Qin Feng defeated the beast emperor. However, he stopped at the last moment and looked at Qin Feng.

Qin Feng nodded and smiled. He was alright with the news getting out.

Sometimes, it was better to not hide one’s real power. In fact, when you have gotten so powerful, it was difficult to hide it for a long period of time anyway.

“Ahem. Commander, so what do you think of this puppet that we’re standing on?” Yu Yangtao forced a calm demeanor despite being very excited.

Zhang Geng was stunned for a second before asking, “It’s really powerful. From our analysis, this thing is at least an A-tier beast emperor. Is this Governor Qin’s trump card?”

Then, a small boat was seen speeding toward the Glutton Leviathan. And then, it did not dare to move closer when it was around one hundred meters away from it.

“Assistant He! Hi!!!” Qin Feng greeted He Jia as soon as he saw her.

“Governor Qin! Is this… Is this the Glutton Leviathan?”

He Jia felt that she could pass out right away from the shock!

Then, as Qin Feng rode the Glutton Leviathan and went closer and closer to the port, more and more people saw it and spread the news far and wide.

One of the top ten most fearsome beasts was now dead?
