Chapter 758: Arriving At Dusk Dragon’s Stronghold
The killer’s secret technique was still activated, his body bursting with energy as he rapidly sped away and moved past Qin Feng in an instant.
After running for a few meters, his neck was suddenly detached from his body!
Instantaneous death!
“Asteroid Assimilation, Attract!”
Qin Feng raised a palm and dragged the other’s body back, causing the man’s internal force to surge into Qin Feng’s dantian!
An A2-tier killer, the equivalent of 20 pools worth of internal force.
All of the internal force he had spent earlier had been replenished, with a little bit of excess to spare.
“Phantom Shift!” Qin Feng activated his movement ability, evading the incoming attacks from the mammoths and dashed to the third killer’s side.
The third killer could barely dodge the mammoths’ attacks. Now that Qin Feng had locked onto him, he had no means of defending himself.
“Guan Jinhau! This is your fault!”
The killer howled, unwilling to accept his current situation.
Qin Feng raised a brow but he did not stay his hand and went on with cutting the killer down.
At this time, Guan Jinhau, who had been watching the scene unfold, quietly cursed. He did not want to stay any longer and began to flee the area.
“You’re the ones who want to kill people, what are you calling me out for? Now you’re putting the blame on me? That Qin Feng knows I’m close by now, I need to run!”
If other enemies were to appear, even if they were S-tier, Guan Jinhao was confident that he would escape with the use of Phantom Shift.
Now that Qin Feng knew Phantom Shift and it turned out to be even better than his, his confidence was not what it used to be!
“It really is as the saying goes, ‘A well-taught disciple will starve their master’!”
Guan Jinhau silently cursed again, but Qin Feng would never admit that he was qualified to be considered as a tutor!

Qin Feng was not even sure if Guan Jinhau was nearby. After all, the man had been very careful in not getting too close to the area. It could be possible that the person saw Qin Feng’s phantoms and lamented about it.
It was only based on intuition that he believed the man was nearby.
After all, it was common for killers to do things like this.
It seemed like Qin Feng was going to be the one benefiting from their efforts in the end.
It did not exactly have that feeling like a fisherman’s haul in terms of profit, but it would do. All of these people’s stuff would line Qin Feng’s pockets!
After taking care of the three killers, Qin Feng turned his attention back to the mammoths. They were all slaughtered like penned chicken!
Gradually, these mammoths’ numbers were sheared in half, resulting in a huge loss in their territories. There were not even enough of them to maintain the rock storm above!
The scent of blood permeated the air, filling their hearts with a sense of panic as the mammoths began to retreat!
One, two…
Ten, twenty…
The mammoths finally regained their senses and paid a heavy price for it. Now, they had no choice but to flee.
Qin Feng did not pursue them. While these big guys may look like a cumbersome bunch, with the earth ability they basically skated across the land and were difficult to catch up to.
“Clean this up!”
This time, Qin Feng was really helpless. These Giant Mammoths were too big. Before his rebirth he would have definitely spent his time chopping off their tusks and carving out their crystal cores, he would even work on skinning them.
Fortunately, this time he had Bai Li. She stored them all away inside her space to be taken care of once they returned to Fengli City.
That being said, this kind of harvest would have been otherwise impossible to accumulate on this Earth.
After clearing the battlefield, Qin Feng and Bai Li went on their way.

As they went past Fire Dragon Mohrian’s territory, the surrounding beasts became lower and lower in terms of strength and rarely saw any A-tier ultra beasts. More C-tier beasts had started to appear!
That was because they had reached the Dusk Dragon’s territory.
From a distance away, Qin Feng could already see the mountain top and on the peak was a lone pine tree.
The Dusk Dragon’s stronghold was in the centermost area shrouded by giant cypress and pine trees. It could even be said that these giant trees acted as the stronghold’s shelter!
The Ancient Wisdom Tree!
“There’s good stuff!” Bai Li’s eyes lit up immediately and began sniffing the air.
Qin Feng smirked and said, “The fruit of the Ancient Wisdom Tree is naturally a good thing. However, don’t take those with force. They are given as gifts. If you annoy the tree then there would be dire consequences!”
Qin Feng knew that if the Dusk Dragon could establish a city that rivaled the Dragon Capital and become the number one Dark Coalition force in Huaxia it meant that they had more than one S-tier.
According to urban legend, there were more than three, but one of them had already been crippled.
It was an ability user. Once upon a time, he forcibly took a fruit from an Ancient Wisdom Tree. While he succeeded, after he ate the fruit his intellect instantly plummeted into the equivalent of a single digit.
The Ancient Wisdom Tree that rewarded its fruit would greatly enhance the talents of an ability user or an ancient warrior. It made it easier to be able to absorb the methods within their understanding, allowing them an easier time to master their powers.
That being said, their intelligence was greatly improved as well.
That was why these trees gained the name Ancient Wisdom Tree!
“Alright alright, I get it, but since I’m so smart, the Ancient Wisdom Tree will definitely give me something!” Bai Li said.
Qin Feng nodded. It was hard to stay, the tree’s fruits affected everyone differently. Although the general effects were the same, there was always something else that would occur that would benefit each individual.
He knew that the best effect was gaining twin elemental abilities.
An ability user that mastered one element was impressive enough, managing to master another ability, other than the use of the Ancient Wisdom Tree, was something Qin Feng had not heard of before.
“This effect doesn’t have any use to me. With the dark absorption ability, I can master other elements now!”
Fire, earth, water!
However, there was always an exception.
Qin Feng and Bai Li finally reached the foot of the Dusk Dragon stronghold’s mountain. At this time other aptitude users could be seen!
Several A-tier aptitude users noticed Qin Feng and Bai Li.
“Eh? What good luck, looks like there’s a pair of little B-tiers arriving!”
“Maybe everyone else is dead and they’re the only survivors!”
“After we kill them, there’s bound to be a lot of good loot on them!”
All of these aptitude users were A-tiers. This kind of extortion was the norm here, it was the B-tiers’ fault for being weak and letting themselves get bullied.
At this moment, some of these people’s moods changed when they saw the face of who was approaching.
“Are you out of your mind? Don’t you see who that B-tier is?”
“Not every B-tier is the same! Beware, there are some iron walls!”
“Curses! It’s that lunatic, move quickly, don’t let him see us. If he remembers our faces from the last time we tried to ambush him, he might come for revenge!”
“Go go go!”
These people immediately turned tail and scuttled away, leaving behind those who had no idea who Qin Feng was. Even they did not dare make a move, even their originally scheming gazes had been turned away.
Qin Feng ignored the other people, taking Bai Li along toward the Ancient Wisdom Tree.

But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
