Chapter 939: The Real Human Alliance

After he stepped through the entrance, in a brief moment, all that Qin Feng felt was nothing but darkness around him—even his consciousness went completely blind and could not sense anything at all. Then, all of a sudden, Qin Feng’s senses and consciousness were working again. He was now in a different realm!

“Ugh! So heavy!”

The first thing Qin Feng felt was that the gravity in this area was quite powerful—so powerful that Qin Feng was forced to drop to his knees as soon as he arrived.

Then, Qin Feng was attracted by everything around him.

He was standing in the middle of a rather huge plaza, one which had over thousands of doors on it.

Then, Qin Feng turned around and saw a large building in front of him.

The building was radiating colorful lights, indicating that it contained countless runes in it. This building was probably constructed with some unique, sturdy minerals—it was so strong and sturdy that probably not even S-tiers could destroy it.

And on the top of the building, there was a unique conscious energy emitting from the top floor. It was not just some mere consciousness energy—it was a massive sign made of conscious energy; the sign was announcing a name.

When Qin Feng looked at the top floor from the plaza, he could clearly sense a familiar name from it—”Human Alliance”.

What made this place more peculiar was that it felt as though everything around him was made of consciousness. It felt as though it was the consciousness realm that the C-tiers could enter.

However, this place was real.

A ray of silver light flashed on a door next to Qin Feng. Then, a human walked out of the door.

Voosh Voosh Voosh!

Then, many humans walked out of the door and toward the building. All of them were emitting the presence of S-tiers.

There were at least a thousand such humans walking through the door. However, there should not be that many S-tiers on Earth right now.

Just what kind of organization was this?

It was then, Hu San had found Qin Feng amidst the crowd.

“Qin Feng, there you are! Come! I’ll help you register your communicator.”

“Yes, Sir!” Qin Feng nodded his head before asking, “Master Hu, just where is this? These S-tiers… they don’t seem to be from our world.”

Hu San nodded. “Yes, you’re right. This is the place where humans from various realms band together. In other words, this is the real Human Alliance. And only S-tiers can visit here.”

Qin Feng already had some idea as to what this place was earlier. However, after finally getting his answer, Qin Feng still could not help but to feel surprised.

“Various realms? Does that mean this Human Alliance here has already discovered all of the realms?”

Hu San shook his head. “No. Realms appear and collapse every day. No one knows what realm will appear today and which one will fall tomorrow.”

After taking a pause, Hu San asked, “Qin Feng, after visiting that realm we have been to, have you not noticed anything?”

Qin Feng was now a powerful entity. So, after visiting that realm, Qin Feng had plenty of thoughts and theories on what was going on.

“You mean… after an Immortal perishes, instead of dying, he would become a realm?”

This was a bold guess. Yet, it was the most logical speculation to explain whatever that happened back there.

Hu San nodded. “You are correct. After an Immortal perishes, his consciousness will expand exponentially, filling the void in the area with his energy—a ‘Big Bang’ if you will, thus, giving birth to a new universe. ”

“That realm we visited was once an Ice-type Immortal. The countless ice runes that were in him had dispersed throughout the newly birthed realm, making everything in view nothing but snow and ice. However, the universe would eventually find balance. As his powers and energies spread thin to the far edges, the world would gradually become nominal and gain a fair balance of various types of runes, then new living creatures of various species would emerge. This would begin the cycle of life, on and on, until a new Immortal is born.”

Qin Feng was so astounded when he heard this. Then, a question crawled up in his mind.

“But our world… there were no runes before the Great Rift. Why do we have runes now?” Qin Feng asked.

Hu San smiled bitterly. “Well, just think of it as our world making its last stand before exhaling its last breath.”

Qin Feng asked hesitantly, “What… What do you mean?”

“Because our world is already collapsing as we speak.”

Qin Feng’s face turned pale upon hearing this. Indeed, he had learned about realms falling and collapsing—like the realm on the other side of the dimensional crack in the Blood River Realm. However, he had never known about the real nature behind such a phenomenon.

And right now, he finally understood.

That realm was in the final moments of its lifespan. As such, it opened up a rift and connected to various realms as the last ditch effort to remain “alive”. When it acquired the vibrant amount of runes from Qin Feng’s world, it finally was able to gain some breath of life in it.

And this was how realms came and went. Again and again.

However, no one liked to see their own home world collapsing to nothingness.

“The humankind is a peculiarly rare breed of species in all of the known realms. We are small in number but we are known to be highly intelligent, capable of high level learning, developing new technologies in a short span of time and learning various kinds of ancient martial arts. However, our kind is still prenatally weaker when compared to other species that could just be born straight into immortality.”

“Regardless, if one wants to protect and maintain an existing realm, he must become an Immortal. Of course, this is no easy feat. However, there’s still another way—which is to ask other human Immortals in the Human Alliance to come to our world to help defend our world.”

Qin Feng finally understood where they got the Immortal from before he was reborn. They most likely got the Immortal from this place!

“Ah, I see! I understand now.”

“However, there’s one problem with humankind—we tend to fight amongst ourselves all the time. So, it’s not easy to ask a human Immortal from another realm to come over to help us. Not without a dear cost. Sometimes, the cost is so high that we can’t afford to pay. This is why it’s best that we can get our own Immortal.”

“Indeed.”

They walked through the entrance of the building as they were talking. When he walked through the door, Qin Feng noticed even the inside of the building was quite gigantic too. There were various kinds of technologies on display around him, emitting words in languages that he had never seen before via conscious energy.

“This feels like the Ability User Lobby!”

“Yes. There are over thousands of realms. Some are powerful, some are weak. The strong are unwilling to waste their time while the weak need protection. Thus, countless race wars have been started in the realms. All of these realms need help. Still, it’s best that you keep out of these race wars. You might become a cannon fodder by participating in a war that is not yours to fight.”

Qin Feng nodded in agreement. Not familiar with the politics and affairs in this place yet, Qin Feng was not going to hastily accept missions here either.

Hu San then stopped at one of the booths nearby, teaching Qin Feng how to register for a unique communicator and identification.

After that, they needed to test Qin Feng’s capabilities.

There were of course unique testing facilities. These testing facilities were even more refined than the testing machines that Qin Feng had brought along to the Blood River Realm back then.

Other than Qin Feng, there were other people nearby who needed testing. And he could sense that all of them were S-tiers.
