Chapter 988: Omnesflores Under Attack
Still, this thing had little effect on Qin Feng and Bai Li.
Essential oils like these usually did its aphrodisiac magic by boosting one’s reproductive potentials or boosting one’s kidneys. This would not do much for Qin Feng due to how much he had enhanced his body.
However, today was a different day.
He had been doing non-stop hunting and training, accumulating stress for days. Qin Feng was reaching his limits. Deep down in his subconsciousness, he needed some means to let off steam.
“Bai Li, you’ve grown so much.” Qin Feng said.
Bai Li tilted her head and beamed up a smile. “Oh, I believe I’ve grown much more than you!”
“Well, you’re not wrong.”
Bai Li had been with Qin Feng for three years. They had always stuck together, rarely leaving each other’s side. This had strengthened their bond like no other.
At first, Qin Feng thought of her as just a small child, fooling around like how he would with a young sibling. Nonetheless, despite how much of a child Qin Feng thought Bai Li was, Bai Li was already not a child.
Right now, no matter how you looked at her, Bai Li had apparently matured fully.
Spatial beasts could live for a long time. Bai Li had been in the dimension where time sped up twice. Adding on to the two times she was in there, one would see that her age was already about 110 years old.
Of course, to any spatial beast species, a 110-year-old was still just a “child”.
However, to humans, especially to S-tiers, she was definitely an adult now.
“So, now that you’ve grown, we can do something else.”
“And what is this ‘something else’?”
Qin Feng beamed up a mischievous smile. “Do you want to know? Come kiss me first!”
Bai Li did not think much about it. She did not think Qin Feng was about to turn into a bad wolf.
“Teehee, sure! You can just say it straight to my face if you want a kiss, you know?”
Then, as the water in the tub rippled away from her snowy skin, Bai Li inched closer to Qin Feng and pecked his face.

Qin Feng felt a soft, warm sensation from the exquisite girl’s body, provoking his lascivious desire for her even more. Without haste, Qin Feng circled his strong arm around her waist and embraced her tightly as he pulled her in for a passionate snog.
A fog of confused yet sweet sensation clouded Bai Li’s eyes.
“It’s okay. Don’t be afraid, Bai Li.”
“Afraid? What is there to be afraid of?”
Bai Li tilted her head curiously. Although she did not have the faintest idea of what was going on, Bai Li could still feel an eagerness throbbing in her chest.
A cloud of delightful blush was smeared from her gorgeous face to the root of her delicate clavicle, making her as stunning as the goddess of love herself.
Seeing the defenseless yet willing Bai Li, Qin Feng could not hold it in anymore as he lowered his head for another longing kiss, before both of them coupled their flesh in a fierce carnage of desire, satisfying their sexual needs for one another in the tub.
Then, an overlapping of fierce water splashing and Bai Li’s dulcet moans of pleasure echoed in the bathroom on and on…
***
It was another fine morning.
There was no other season than spring in Omnesflores. As such, Qin Feng was woken up by the sweet scent of flowers blown into the hotel suite from the window.
He had not slept so well since forever!
“Hubby! Wake up! Let’s go out and play!”
Qin Feng stretched out his hands lazily; multiple loud cracks could be heard from his body as his body loosened up from the stretch.
Then, he rolled to the side and grabbed the chirpy little lady into his embrace.
“Hehe, look at you. So energetic, aren’t you? Looks like I haven’t worked hard enough to satisfy you, hmm?”
“Teehee, stop! It tickles!”
“Oh, I’m just getting started!”
Then, the lovebirds made love to one another again. It was not until noon when they finally had enough and ventured out of the hotel for another fun adventure.
His time on Omnesflores was probably Qin Feng’s happiest days to date.
For half a month on Omnesflores, they visited all the tourist hotspots they could find. Bai Li was beginning to feel a sliver of boredom.

“Maybe it’s time for us to go home?” Bai Li asked.
“Are you sure you had enough? If you want, we could still stay here a little longer.”
“Teehee, it’s okay. I heard that it’s better for us to take a vacation once in a while. If we keep on enjoying ourselves and expend all the fun, there will be no more fun to enjoy in the future!”
“Alright. Let’s collect our things and head home. We can make more preparations for the next operation if we head back early too.”
Thus, they headed back to the hotel to collect their things.
“Oh! Oh! Remember that golden rose? It looks so beautiful! We haven’t seen one out there at all. Perhaps we could get some of its seeds and then we could plant it ourselves?”
“Sure, let’s go ask around.”
Qin Feng and Bai Li thus headed to the streets to see if they could still find Daybloom.
However, due to how peaceful the planet was, Qin Feng had not been using his conscious powers at all in the last few weeks. After looking around for a dozen minutes, Qin Feng finally realized that he had not been activating his conscious scanning abilities.
“Wow, this is what peace feels like. How relaxing!” Qin Feng smiled before activating his consciousness and started scanning the whole city.
Then, he saw Daybloom selling flowers on a street about ten kilometers away.
However, the moment he found the boy, Qin Feng also sensed something else. Bai Li, too, had sensed it as she raised her head and glared at the sky.

It was then, a crimson red meteor fell from the sky.
It was not some mere meteor too. It was a huge one. Too huge!
Nonetheless, these kinds of meteors would normally burn up as it enters the planet’s stratosphere. However, the moment it entered the stratosphere, the meteor blew up!
Booom!
A crimson red dyed the bright blue sky, as if the sky was wounded and bleeding.
Daybloom, who was hustling on the streets, raised his head and stared at the sky in shock. The golden roses fell to the ground as he shook in fear.
“Ahhhhh!! We’re under attack!!”
“Run! Run for your lives!”
“It’s the Insectoids!”
People on the streets hurried to the nearby buildings for shelter as they screamed in fear. Tens of thousands of Insectoids flew out from the meteor that exploded in the sky. Not only that, these Insectoids were seemingly led by a shape-shifting beast king!
The meteor was merely their disguise to get close to the planet. When they left the meteor, these Insectoids’ bodies got stronger and bigger.
If these monsters went on and attacked Omnesflores like this, it could very well wipe out the entire fleet of their defenses on their satellites on the planet’s orbit.
“Calling the First Fleet! We are under attack! I repeat! We are under attack!”
“Requesting for shield activation. Quick! Those disgusting centipedes are coming!”
“Over! Request is granted!”
Vrrooom!!
A loud machine-like voice could be heard throughout the city before a sphere of force field enveloped the entire continent. Countless cities on the planet were shielded by the same force field.
Meanwhile, the Insectoids had already fallen from the sky and were littered on the ground.
They were Bloodlust Centipedes. As soon as they landed, these creatures rushed straight to the force field and chomped onto it. As seconds went by, they were able to tear through and breach into the cities as they began their mindless slaughter on the local population.
Daybloom kept running and running. However, he was not fast enough—a Bloodlust Centipede had wriggled its way to him like the wind.
The Centipede was not even locking onto Daybloom. All it did was move on the streets and devour everything in its path.
This was the first time Daybloom could sense his own mortality.
“Aahhh!”
Daybloom screamed out in horror as he tripped and fell onto the ground.
Seeing that its prey had stopped moving, the Bloodlust Centipede wriggled to the poor boy excitedly.
Daybloom felt that he should close his eyes to avoid looking at the countless moving insect legs, or the terrifying jaw…
But he was so terrified that he could not move even his eyelids.
Then, in a daze, the boy saw them. The generous man, who bought his flower a few weeks ago, and his beautiful girlfriend…
That was…
“Mr Qin…!”

The Heart Grows
Dungeon games? Yeah, they're a good way to waste a few hours. The trick is to know the map and plan appropriately. Of course, it doesn't matter if you get beaten. You revise your plan for that map and do a bit better next time. Man, it'd really suck to wake up as a dungeon heart in a fantasy world you know nothing about, barely able to even work out how to control your dungeon. Lucky that wouldn't happen to anybody, huh? What with only having one chance at getting things right, you'd have to plan extra-defensive. This story should be getting chapters published weekly. I have a comfortable buffer set up and on top of the weekly writing I am committing, a commissioner has donated two monthly writing slots to ensure this remains on a weekly schedule. There will be a stat block at the beginning of every chapter bar the first, and a handy map at the end. All my works come with a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. This means you are free to download, publish, and even make derivative works of my writing so long as you include this license, attribution, and don't sell the works. Keep it free!
